  1. Thanks for all the info, its nice to know that i don't have to be stuck form hopping if i don't want to. For now my shade is still low level, but i wanted to at least have an idea of what i was going to aim for at 50. I tend to like leveling with the build i will use later so i have better idea of what it can do and how to play it.

As for the instant form changing i think it would help but all in all it just feels clunky to me. But i do love the dwarf, its just a neat looking form, so for leveling i think i will aim for human/dwarf and then maybe drop it once I'm higher level and start worrying more about IOs.
  2. I have seen and read the few posts i could find and a couple guides (Need to take a closer look at AlienOne's guide again however) and im just really curious about the human form warshade. I tried a little bit of the bi and tri form but it really just doesn't appeal to me with all the shifting.

So im wondering if human form can be made to have strong aoe damage to take on full groups of x8 (at least x8 +1 - +4 doesn't matter too much) Can they be made to do that sort of thing with out billions of inf? At best i only have 300mil to work with. I can get more of course but i haven't found the best method for making money yet.

I have watched a video that AlienOne did way back in 2009 ( http://youtu.be/mlmd15zaqOs ) Is that still doable? Or is it only with specific mob types?

Anyway thanks for the info, the class looks really neat, and i think i would enjoy it, minus the form hopping.
  3. I contacted support about this and finally got it sorted out, did the msconfig and turned off everything except windows required processes and now i'm not having any trouble.

here is their instructions for other people to try, might help others with ati cards

I would like to rule out the possibility that there is another program interfering with the game connection. Please disable all startup items to make sure that no background programs or processes are causing a conflict. To do this, please perform the following:

    1. Press and hold the Windows key and then hit the R key. This should bring up the Run dialog box.

    2. Type "MSCONFIG" without the quotes, and click "OK." This should open the System Configuration Utility.

    3. Go to the "Startup" tab and click the "Disable All" button.

    4. Next go to "Services" tab and check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" check box, then click the "Disable All" button.

    5. Once these items are all disabled, click the "OK" button and you will get a prompt to restart your computer. Please restart your computer.

  6. My settings are set to minimum and i still freeze up, going from 40 - 60 frames down to .5 for a good three seconds when ever i try to turn. It happens less often and for shorter amounts of time on the blue side but it seems like my card should be able to handle the graphics set to alot higher. Really when the card i replaced (geforce 9400) could do it just fine. I know i probably cant touch ultra but higher then minimum.

    Windows XP, Radeon 4600 series.

    Good solo build.

The web grenade cancles out the knockback? I would have thought they would just fly backwards covered in goo.

Would you mind posting your build? Maybe i just need a good respec, of course again im not even bothering with IOs yet. Actually out of all of my many many characters i have never once made a single IO.
  8. Jin_Tou

    Good solo build.

Im not possitive how to post my build but for now i think i fall into the crab huntsman hybrid, i dropped the frag grenades to be more group friendly (i group most of the time) and i know the knockback can be terribly annoying to melee characters. Other wise i have both pets that i can get and most of the group buffs.

I havnt tried soloing since i got 39 so it might be easier with my pets now. In groups it works just fine, i might just skip the solo part of the character an save that for other characters. Most of the time i get pretty bored soloing anyway
  9. Jin_Tou

    Good solo build.

Wouldnt have a clue honestly the most i know is crab, bane an huntsmen an im not even possitive what makes a huntsmen a huntsmen
  10. Jin_Tou

    Good solo build.

I have an alright group aoe/buff build. But im finding when i try to solo i have turn the difficulty down to bare minimum to survive, so im curious if any one has a decent soloing build for the crab/bane spider. As long as it works i dont mind if its melee or ranged. My character is only 37 so i havnt even considered IOs yet either
  11. Jin_Tou

    35+ Exp

Who do i talk to to start the weekly task force?

As for just playing, i just wanted to make sure im not missing something i should be doing rather then group grinding my way up an burning my self out on the character before i ever get close to 50.
  12. Jin_Tou

    35+ Exp

Ah yea i forgot all about the ITF, are the roman costume pieces still unlockable?
  13. Jin_Tou

    35+ Exp

What do people do now for exp in this range? Still just tips group or is there something else i should be doing?
  14. Jin_Tou

    VIP Server

From those that are playing there, do you feel its worth rolling an alt there or transfering characters? They would only be around level 20ish. I have never really played on any server besides Virtue.
  15. Glad this was posted, i had been trying to figure out how to start this trial for a while now. (i have never done the higher level trials or anything else before) But my question now is, where is the looking for group button that you are talking about?

*edit* I found the button in the menu at the top, will be handy for my low levels.
  16. I think these posters look awesome, but i also think you need a turtle pin up girl on one of em. Just for that extra flavor
  17. Im having trouble coming up with a costume for my new female necro/sonic MM. My plan is to be a banshee but im having trouble getting something that looks right. So i thought i would ask on here for those that are good with the creator an themes.

So im asking that once the servers are up again to go an come up with a costume that fits the banshee theme and then post a screen shot of it. And then i will give credit to one the pick in the characters bio.

    Banshee reference pictures.

Any costume piece is fine, i can easily buy a couple pieces off the store if i need to. I do how ever require her not have her bones sticking out (zombie parts) and that she not look like an old hag.
  18. For a while now i have been crashing when i zone into a mission. Some times i get an error but normally it just closes the game. I have tried just about everything i can find to try an fix the problem but nothing seems to work. The crashes seem to be related to the graphics but changing around the graphics options doesnt seem to help either. Nor did a graphics driver revert or update, making sure the nclauncher is closed didnt help either.

    First error message.

The computer is a windows vista 32 bit. 2.4 gig dual core, at least 2 gigs of ram and geforce 8800 card.

The crashing seems to be much more often when in praetoria, and as i understand it that area has alot more graphic quality. But again nothing i have tried seems to get rid of it.

    Game Crashing

I have been crashing a lot today, like every other mission. Not sure why but i figured i would post an see if its just me or what. Out of all my time playing i have never really crashed before, save for a random fluke. I have scanned the game and my system an havnt found anything. Rebooted a couple times too.

The only real difference between today an yesterday is that my younger brother is patching wow on my internet today. Which is using up a good 50% of our speed (which isnt fast to begin with, tops out around 150kb/s) Could that be doing it? The crashes never have any kind of frame rate dips or anything like that, its just a freeze for a second or two an then closes out. And it only happens during combat, not once has it done it when im just sitting around.
  20. Awesome, found it. Thanks for the help
  21. Where in Pocket D can i go to Praetoria? I had looked but never saw anything, but then again i wasnt looking very hard either so might have walked past it.
  22. I have been wondering if its possible to change sides with these before becoming a hero/villain. For example i made a wolf spider but i hate doing stuff on the villain side, would it be possible to leave and go hero and or praetoria? Even if i couldnt get my own missions.

I had tried asking in the help channel but all i got was "Go Rogue" which was no help at all.
