Supergroup Reset?

I just checked my base, and all seemed fine.
Some things that might have played a part in this:
Did you have a "mass exodus" of characters transferring to other servers (such as Exalted)?
Did you have a bunch of character accounts drop to premium? (Not that I think this should work this way... But I can see it happening.)

It is very likely that many of the characters belonging to this sg are now on Premium level accounts.

Even if every last toon left the SG, he would only loose the 20k prestige per the first 15, ie., 300k (14 mil - 300k = 13.7 mil)
Unless the OP is the red star superleader, all the other items could be changed by someone with high level (red star) edit privileges (possibly as a prank?)...
Then again... looking at what happened to the prestige, it is definitely ticket-worthy.

But with the sudden large loss of Prestige, either of those things could have affected it.
If server transfers are glitchy in Freedom, or if the new code covering account status changes is glitchy, it could result in large Prestige losses.
And if you lose enough Prestige that you can't pay for your base anymore, I can see the code just deleting your base.
And the rest could be a "domino effect."

However, (I know from trying to do it) there is no way to delete having a base. You can delete everything except the entry room and base portal, but you can't remove that imaginary real estate option once you commit to it.
Another thing I need to double-check on: I think our coalitions were gone as well. I recall when I tried Base TP, I got no pop-window at all for any base.

The Hall of Doom is the headquarters of the Legion of Doom, a DC Comics property... Good luck on keeping the name or anything else to do with the supergroup.

Not that it's any protection, but the VG has existed since CoV head-start. We've got almost 6 years of precedent going.
Another interesting bugged thing: The prestige column alone of the sg roster adds up to way, way more than 300K.

Anecdotal evidence: I have a personal SG shared with a friend called "Galactic Empire" that was created on a lark when we started playing. Years and millions of prestige later, once some of our friends and other people were using it for the base, we decided we'd rather have a less... what's the word... "nerdy" name for it
Despite linking to evidence that the name was IP of Lucasfilm in the support ticket to try to get it genericed, our request for a name change was denied...
Of course, your mileage may very depending on who answers the ticket.
-Prestige could have been eaten up by purchase within the base (adding items).
-Porters not being tied to location beacons could lead to the can't TP to base.
-Weird Named SuperStar sounds like possible malice.
-SG Icon/colors being different could be related to the known SG symbol bug that has pissed many of us off as we used them for things like salvage sorting labels, etc.
Either way I'd petition and if they give you hell over the name (which was approved at some point in time), then I'd ask for some sort of token for renaming the group enough to comply with the EULA.
Precedent only means it wasn't noticed before now. Once it's in their face they have to act.
You could run a toon named Wolv3rin3 as a claws/regen with his exact outfit and catchphrases "Bub" for years and as long as you weren't reported by another player, or seen by a passing GM, you'd still have it.
You've managed to hide 'under the radar' for years, won't stop them once they know about it though. Not trying to rain on your parade. Just don't want you to get upset if the name is gen'd.
Did you try sending a tell or email to the supspicious new leader? I logged in an alt that hadn't been on in years the other month and to my shock I'd been promoted to SuperLeader of a rather large SG I didn't even remember joining. Still had a really nice base and things in storage, even though nobody had logged in forever. Guess it was the auto demote deal, me being the only currently active account and all.
I sent a tell to the former leader, I could tell because he shared the SG's name, telling him he could have control back free of charge if he wanted. Last week I got a tell from him asking for just that.
Perhaps the new leader was promoted by the demote thing being changed and just didn't realize he was messing things up, playing around with the editor or something.

My SG, Silver Eclipse, is suffering from virtually identical symptoms. It was not under my control at the time, it was in the hands of a trusted friend. He and I are the only two in the SG, so hijacking would have been impossible. "Silver Eclipse" is an obscure referance to a Skies of Arcadia boss's attack, so I really don't think we got generic'd. The only abnormal thing to have happened recently is that my associate's account rolled over to a new month recently. He has it set to autopay every month and has had almost no gaps in his subscription.
The SG is currently under my command while I sit and wait for someone to reply to my petition. The only differance between our situations is that my Prestige is at 308131, I have no idea what it was before this happened.
If I just lost 3+ years worth of work, I am going to be very, very angry with Paragon.

Our base has been re-enabled as of October 8th. No restoration of previous prestige or coalitions. It seems to be an older copy of the base since some of the items in the storage bins don't fit our current storage paradigm.

"Update on prestige, coalition etc. Whatever was lost is lost basically. According to the GM. Its up to us to establish any coalitions, they don't handle that."
Ouch and outrage.

- No base available
- Prestige dropped to 300,302 from 14 million-ish
- Emblem changed to Anarchy (1st available iirc)
- Primary/Secondary colors changed to White/White
- Rank titles changed back to default
- Permissions reset to all Superleader only, all else no permissions
- MotD blank
- Motto blank
- Description blank
- Inactive Leaders Demotion reset back to 15 days
Any one else had this happen to them recently with the last few patches?@Cannonfodder
