Ditto. I like this change. I have the Demon farm that I use for when I run low on high end arcane salvage. Even solo I am seeing Bosses. Nice change.

No recipe here. Just a tip. If you're creating a batch and it is not dark enough for your liking, add about 1 tsp of Hershey's Unsweetened Cocoa Powder to it. That'll darken it up.

Also cool...
Killing with War Mace's Jawbreaker and knocking the guy up to his death at about 12 ft, he lays out flat in mid air with a wiggle and comes plummeting down flat on his back. -
The next time you do a TF and complain about not getting any drops worthwhile, ask yourself, did the team just want to rush through every mission and skip a lot of mobs that could have dropped something juicy. All those mobs left alone are also a chance for a drop you never took because the team wanted the merits instead.

What do I like to do with my tanker?
Fill it with cold beer, of course. -
I like Kings Row. Thats where I play the market.
Heroside I use the Brickstown AE for Solitude in soloing.
Villainside I use the Sharkhead AE for this.
When I want to team AE I'll head to RWZ. I promise. -

(also how about removing the ae building from Atlas and placing it in galaxy so it can return to being a social gathering place)
[/ QUOTE ]
Ummm...ok. (There is one in Galaxy, maybe you should go there and see for yourself) -

Only respec once in a blue moon. It's never been a big issue
[/ QUOTE ] Same here. Last time I respec'd was about a week ago, on my Fire/WM tank. I had not heard this announcement and doubt it would have mattered at all. Sitting here I cannot think of one of my other characters that needs a respec. -
To the OP: You let what the other players in this game do and say affect you too much. There is some really great new content to be had in the AE, you just need to seek it out. To hell what the other players are doing. If they stink at this game, doesn't mean you have to. If they have no idea how to get a cape mission, or an aura, or how to change their costume, what does that matter to you? If they've never heard of the Atlas Medallion, and you have it, you can choose to tell them ot not tell them. You have the power over these newcomers, but you seem to think that they affect you somehow.

Warshade for teaming. PB for fun soloing.

I'll chime in in agreement with /SR scrapper. My MA/SR is easily my fastest character as it lends itself to easy modifications to base speed, (meaning no extra end usage).
I have done, pretty much, what Lavitae has done with his Kat/SR. Except I rarely turn sprint on. Just not necessary. -
He're my current build, lvl 46. It covers all the bases as a leveling up build. Im not sure If I'm going to go ahead and take Burn like I planned at 47. Perhaps I'll go with Conserve Power or Hasten, not sure yet. If I get the Performance Shifter + End into Stamina, I might not need Conserve Power. My biggest weakness is End Drain, since every attack lands on a resistance build.
Make sure you get at least one KB protection Steadfast in the bank before you start any Fire Armor tank. The lack of knockback protection is a real fun killer.

::::wonders if there is a Largo on the EU boards::::

Do Hall of Fame Arcs give merits or regular rewards? It's been so long since I've seen one I don't remember anymore.
-
Dark/WarMace......I'll probably start one after my Fire/WarMace hits 50.
From your characters listing it looks like you shy away from drawn weapons though. -

<Disclaimer: I have never played a high level /Dev blaster>
If you read the long description for Time Bomb, I remember that there is some line about how if the bomb takes enough damage it will blow up before the 15s count down, and will still fry anything within its radius. The bomb should ordinarily not draw much (any?) fire itself, but if you were standing nearby and it caught a big AoE volley, it'd blow. I'm not sure if the trip mines would activate it, but I could believe it.
[/ QUOTE ]
I've been trying to confirm this all morning with my 50 AR/Dev, fighting Warhulk+FakeNemesis Boss combos in PI.
First I set a Time Bomb then a TripMine right on top of it. The Trip Mine goes off, alerting them, the Warhulk hits me with his flamethrower, and the Time Bomb never detonates early. I've had this AR/Dev at 50 for 4 years and I've never seen the TimeBomb go off early....of course this is the first time I'm actually looking for it. It looks to me so far, that this myth is BUSTED. -
You are correct Time Bomb just needs a double shot of stealth so you can move among the unaggroed mobs undetected and lay the mine.
Using Trip Mines to protect your fall back position is also a sound strategy. Id just suggest throwing caltrops down on the Trip Mines to keep the aggroed mobs from running too quickly through the mine. -
No its just for AR. Because they felt guilty that AR did not have Aim, it gives the extra damage to sniper rifle that you would have gotten from Aim.
My AR/Dev skipped both Sniper Rifle and TD. Couldn't fit them in and still have all the gadgets I liked.
