Hey now, don't be dissin' Starflier's avatar, I think it's one of the coolest I've seen. Hey flier, did you make it yourself, or did someone else do it?
[/ QUOTE ]I'm not disrespecitng it just looks like one of my fears in animated form and I wanted to be told "No he's just a fan and not pervy at all". -

Once again, how many Farm builds/PvP builds can go without stamina?? Regen Scrapper? I think not, especially when you are facing off against a really sturdy brute. Fire/kin trollers with transference? Maybe if u are io'd out and slotted for some major rech, tried it before without stam, it sucked terribly. Give me more terrible builds to play without stam please.
[/ QUOTE ] Farm builds are an entire different animal and I dont think is really relevant to the discussion. The entire goal of a farm build is to kill at extremely high rates, and getting stamina goes a long way to accomplishing that.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, but wait a minute. The argument I see all the time [not necessarily from you, just sayin'] is that "no one needs Stamina and only lazy/greedy people pick it up."
As Samuel said, I think the definition of "highly functional" is the problem. I think some people are calling being able to fire off three attacks in a row while teamed, "highly functional." That's not my definition.
My definition of "highly functional" is "able to stand there for ten minutes straight pounding on an AV such as Romulus + his Nictus pals, or the entire Freedumb Phalanx at once, without huffing, puffing, begging for blues, having all my toggles dropped, or any of the other bad things that occur when END bottoms out."
I am not here to fire off three attacks and then have to Rest while my team mates pick up my slack. I am here to act as a one person Weapon of Mass Destruction; this is my function and it is very high, admittedly. High function means I need a lot of Endurance and this is just me.... +End power choices are nice, but they nowhere near fill the bill that Fitness does. +End powers are grace-notes, not the foundation of my build. And these powers are almost never, or never, avaliable to me as a lowbie under level 20.
I think a lot of people, especially people blueside, don't see function that way. They're thinking those three piddly little attacks are all they need to do, so why would they need Stamina?
[/ QUOTE ]How many toggles do you have to run to only get 3 attacks in? -
No matter how hard she tired Tina always came to the parties over dressed.

Fitness. Tough works because it represents the troll toughness, but since you're /Inv you already have that in your secondary. A little regeneration, and better conditioning are likely the best way to go with the strong, powerful troll warrior.

For my part, I've been logging on my old toons on all the servers to get the 5th anniversary badge, and noticing how many of them with the short-short skirts have the borked skirt option... O___o how... pleasant! Those holes in the 'sides' of the skirts are now in the front and back! >_>

As if any of you even understand what is being said here. I said I couldn't find a team on one specific occasion
[/ QUOTE ]
... and then tried being disparaging when someone *cough* went on the exact same server, within minutes of your post, and found plenty of folks willing and waiting to team. Were it not against (or at least very grey in) the forum rules, I'd have happily posted the character names of those people so you could /tell them and ask to team.
I saw no lack of "LFT" broadcasts, as well, in Cap as I went about my business either. Again, jumping from Marshall Brass to the PVP zone liason to do the talk to mission and back, I saw enough unique (as in non repeated) LFT broadcasts to have formed a near-full team if I'd so chosen to.
What your issue is, opportunity for snarky remark about that aside, I couldn't say.
[/ QUOTE ]
Dude, when I made the post I wasn't lft, it was addressing my experiences since coming back as compared to four months ago...man how can I put this in layman's terms for you people? You in particular do not seem to understand that it is no specific instance or day, it is that generally it is tougher to find a team. Plain and simple. As simple as I can put it.
[/ QUOTE ] Translation : I don't care your "facts" and "numbers" and "documented evidence" because I'm AWESOME and you suck! -

So it isn't just me? The same people which you referred to as "forumistas" are following me around agreeing with one another regardless of how idiotic it is? Hmmm.
[/ QUOTE ]
Yes. In fact, the entire Forum Cartel has made it their goal to drive you from the game by contradicting everything you say on the forums. And also cutting your brake lines.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sounds like sarcasm, but the facts show that this may very well be true, aside from the break lines thing. Take a look at the forums. Most everything is griefed with lousy ratings and nearly every suggestion is flamed. Not mine, but everyones. Go ahead, take a peek.
[/ QUOTE ]I think "aside from the break lines thing" was the most dangerous assumption of all. -

the problem with pvp in this game is simple:
there is no easy way to go and start meaningful, "balanced" pvp.
WoW has imbalanced pvp - but they have battlegrounds. You can easily get a pick-up group of 10 to pvp in a game against your foes. The pvp is not just endless defeat/respawn - that isn't popular in WoW either. And you get rewards for it - making it meaningful.
Wandering into a pvp zone and hoping for a fight - when they are largely empty, is a waste of time.
Fighting someone who will just respawn is a waste of time.
The imbalances in pvp don't matter - except to hardcore pvpers.
The rest of the players avoid pvp because it isn't something you can do casually and feel like you accomplished anything.
[/ QUOTE ]I find casual PvP hilarous and fun. Then the trash talkers show up and I go back to my PVE and let them have fun punching themselves. -
Reminds me of a game I sued to play on I think the Super Nintendo. Does your DevDir play a lot of emulators on company machines?

While it's true that Arachnos EATs aren't gender-specific, it's also true that the player can tell the difference. Some Rikti are referred to as male, others as female, but we, the players, have to take their collective word for it, because they all look the same.

Maybe if they cut the sking and stuff out and had only a regular little place for us.

red sparks...that leave red burn marks.

They could add in an option where we have to choose a single level 1 range power regardless of sets instead of forcing more set control. I agree with the removing of one enemy options. I'd go as far as to say restrict it so all mission must have at least 1 minion and 1 lt selection.

Do you have a larger version of McCanibal?

What happens if you do a sword attack while sword surfing?
Would shield toggles drop while flying on it? -
The devs don't want farming to interfere with the "normal game". They also don't want to chase off the farmers who enjoy it.
It's hard to know where to draw the lines.
Mostly they just lock down the exploits that give farmers a major edge. -

The main reason that prices are so high is a few people loading up all their toons and buying every bit of 1 type of salvage they can get at say 5k and selling for 50k or higher. That is not a problem that can be easily fixed by the devs or I imagine it would not currently be an issue.
[/ QUOTE ]
I don't believe you. Name a salvage this is occurring on.
[/ QUOTE ]I've only been able to do this in bursts. I have to be careful because salvage has a way of getting away form me. I start off at a profit but if I don't pull out as soon as the supply rolls around I get squashed.
The fact the market rolls over and tries to eat up my profits when restocking suggests to me it's a living breathing thing that does not need life support.
