Only in the aspect that it would lose the specialness that it has now and they would probably need a new winter event.
Long long time ago, someone (I think it was Samuel_Tow, but don't quote me on that) suggested having seasonal zones, with the Chalet being the Winter zone, obviously. They'd still be special cause they're not always available (only in their corresponding season), you'd get seasons in the game (which we don't otherwise have), and you'd get cool new places to socialize and do stuff.
No idea what the spring idea was, but summer would likely be a beach or small island, maybe with some jungle, and autumn would be Croatoa-like.
I still think this would be the best solution. Especially as it'd mean not clogging up the Chalet with new mini games. The ice slide is fun, but wrecks the look of the floating rock to me already.

It would lose its novelty.
Maybe if they cut the sking and stuff out and had only a regular little place for us.
I realize that it is primarily for Christmas and its events, but the Ski Chalet is more fun for my friends and I to hang out in than an inter galactic dance club. I won't speak for everyone, but what could it hurt to be able to access it all year around?
