any threatening gesture (point forward then draw hand across throat being a prime example)

like explain only more violent (more fist clenching) - you have no idea the POWER of the dark side.

random animal kick (cat/puppy walks by... villian glances down and punts it away)

cape flap - villian grabs cape (or nothing if no cape) and slowly draws hands out from sides, up till at 165 degree angle to ground ((like batman/dracula opening his cape or like a slow victory pose))

a tantrum... a violent/homicidal tantrum

I really have to say... I do like the KHAN!!! idea... doubt we could do it though...

I really like the playing dead idea... but also, how about a laying down sustained pose. Just arms at side, straight as a board. (like being in a coffin)

how about a threatened back hand... as if you were just about to smack someone then decided not to waste your time.

How about newpaper 2 - you start to read paper... then crumple it and toss it over your shoulder... (littering is bad )

How about an audio emote that is just the first 4 notes from Dragnet ( dum duh-duh DUM )

How about a sitting in really high backed chair emote (who cares where it comes from)

I actually have a QUESTION for statesman...

As you know, there has been some minor debate about the new release of the extra special super version of the game, coming to a store near you.
I also know that you folks are planning on releasing a less expensive update disk that just has Powerslide, etc on it for those that have the game and don't want all the extras...(although the Statesman Hero Clik would be kinda cool).
My questions are... When will the disk be made available for us near poor pleebs to get the update, where will we be able to get this disk of gold and do you know how much it will be or has that yet to be determined?

This is Tesseract-Kid... As the leader of our little (but growing) membership, I would like to organize a time and place to meet. This way, all interested parties can come and join the membership and perhaps we can do some patrols after the meeting.

Harris: Could you tell the viewers at home a little bit about how and why you became a hero.

Infurno : Well, I'm a mutant. My powers weren't active though till I was caught in a nasty fire. Getting out of the blaze was easy for me but there were others trapped. It took some work but I got everyone out. Ther's been no going back.

Harris: What would you say is the greatest reward for being a hero?

Infurno : The look on the face of the criminal as they are being teleported to jail.

Harris: Have you ever found there is any drawback to being a hero?

Infurno : Just one. As quick as you are and as many heroes as there are... there just seems to be no end to the number of people commiting crimes.

What is going through your mind when you are in a dangerous situation that could lead to civilian casualties? That must be a scary situation.

Infurno : It is. I have to be extra careful too. Since my powers are fire based. Typically, I'll use a low powered attack to start... kindaa draw their attention away from the civilians. Then it's no-holds barred.

Harris: How do you feel about people that use their powers for crime like the outcast or the super villains we starting to see around the city?

Infurno : Like yoda says ,'The darkside is quicker, more seductive but not stronger.' I think they are too easily tempted by the thought of quick fame and power. That and... maybe they have had a really tuff life. Either way, crime is not the answer. All of you listen to me. It's not too late. Give up on your life of crime. Help us help the city. You'll feel better for it.

What do you think is going through these criminals minds when they commit these acts?

Infurno : Anything from 'Serves ya right' to 'Man I hope I don't get caught'.

How do you feel about the various anti hero and anti mutant groups that believe heroes course more problems then they solve? Given the amount of work heroes do for the city this must be quite upsetting.

Infurno : Well, Anti-Mutant really sicken me. It's just another form of racism. As for Anti-Hero. Heh.. one minute they are chanting for you to stop what your doing... the next they are calling for your help. They just don't see the big picture.

and finally, have you ever worked along side the Statesman? What is he like?

Infurno : Not yet, but it's a small town.

Tesseract-Kid : Nobody wants to be hated. Especially when you just finished a really tough mission. Saved the city and you know NOONE will ever know about it... and some jerk chucks an egg at you and screams 'Go home mutie'. Heck, I'm not even a mutant!

Sanguine Moon on freedom is a vampire. He only goes out at night... sleeps or stays indoors during the day...(which is a real pain since nights last 15 minutes a pop)

I almost forgot about 'Chainmail'. I RP all the time. Even in groups that aren't RP'ing. If I annoy them... so what. If they mention something game mechanic... i act as if they are crazy... If they keep banging the point home, I send em a tell saying 'It's called RPing'. this usually shuts em up.

Well... most cities use very similar penal codes. Soooo... you could either try and locate a cities penal code and quote the section/subsection. The trick is... what crime?!? For each penal code is for a specific crime. Sooo... loitering(which is what most of the beginning criminals are doing ) while murder would be a totally different code. OR... you could design your own penal code... for a violation of the paranormal act... or something similar.
Anyway... thought that might help.

Tesseract-Kid reporting
I had stopped off at City Hall in the Atlas Park sector to visit a friend I had met when I first arrived in the 3rd dimensional version of my home.
Suddenly, I heard crys for help from other heros over the EBN (Emergency Broadcast Net). There was an attack happening at the front steps of City Hall.
Quickly I folded myself in the Tesseract Effect, warping space/time so I could arrive in seconds. And there it was... a self forming quantum singularity. My first reaction was to search for the villian responsible for attacking the hero's I saw there. (two were down at the time, a vampire and an attractive female [note to self - get her number])
With no villian in sight I was perplexed. I am very aware that quantum singularities don't spawn out of nothing. They require massive fluxuations of gravity, time and space to create. But the source eluded me. While warning the fledgling heros away, I scanned the area for possible causes. The Police Drones all appeared to be functioning properly. I believe they lack the raw power to create a singularity anyway, but I checked to be sure anyway.
No, whatever was causing this was not in this sector. I could see the tesseract reacting to the generation of the QS.
I suspect that the Portal Group may have been running illegal tests. I will have to investigate them further...

Which, of course, brings up the next obvious thing. Make a good Bio. If you leave it blank or type stuff like your computers processor speed... you won't get as much action as if you put your characters origin or brief bio in there.
But thats my opinion.

Inspiration: recently in my area we had a full moon. As it rose on my way home.... I noted that it was a gorgeous red shade. As I arrived home it occurred to me what that type of moon was called. A Sanguine Moon. That got me to thinking about vampires, etc... so I made up the character to be a vampire... he has a crimson looking moon on his chest. I also try to get him to be outside fighting... only at night on the server (which, if your curious, lasts about 15 minutes then you have to wait 15 minutes for the day to pass to begin your excursions again... can't say I don't RP. )

Inspiration:I was walking through a mall and I heard a college student talking to another... not really paying attention but I distictly heard the word 'tesseract'. Well, for some reason it stuck in my head for a while. Primarily because I thought I had heard a reference to it somewhere else. (I dabble with meta-physics) Anyway... I broke open my science dictionary and found that a tesseract (in laymens terms) is a 3-dimensional representation of a 4-dimensional cube. I won't bore you with the physics behind it but imagine holding up a square building block. At the most, you see three sides... in the third dimension. In the forth dimension, not only would you see all six sides of the cube and the mass that makes up the cube as well. This gives all sorts of theories possibilities... including teleportation and gravity manipulation. Thus... my character was born.

Sig says it all... I typically play Freedom... and would love to find more then one person that actually roleplays...

Origin - I was working at a 'Grande Taco' when the gas main blew. Most the workers were thrown clear. Not me though. I get covered in burning grease and incinerated by the burning gas. But I lived!! Ever since then I've been able to do the fire thing. Doctors said the explosion triggered some mutant gene. Beats working at the taco place!

Origin - In an early attempt to battle the rising crimes rates of Paragon City, the 'Monolith Project' was commisioned. Just before the prototype was activated, funding for the project was cut. Primarily do to the large number of superhero's that were springing up thoughout the city. But when the project leaders came back to the lab to mothball it, the found their creation missing. A poorly scrawled note left at the scene read,' I go to stop crime in progress.'

Origin - Using 'borrowed' tech from the aliens, Dr Nathan Sanders built a battle armor to help fight the war on crime.

Origin - While studying wolf migration in Northern Canada, Dr Hannible Black fell into an underground cave. While trying to find a way out, he came across a shrine to a forgotten god of war. Suddenly he was pinned by light and his journal fell from his hands onto the shrine. At that moment he heard a voice boom ,' So be it!' Since then he has had wolf like powers and personality and a strong desire to fight. Turning these urges toward good, WarGod was born.

Origin - Kid Swift is the great grand child of Mr Mercury, the fastest man alive. All of Mr Mercury's children have had heightened speed to some degree but Kid Swift is the fastest thus far.

Origin - After a long day of stocking shelves at a local department store, Danielle Renee found herself surrounded by strange hooded men chanting. Slowly she could feel a presence start to take over her body. Suddenly, a hero dressed in black started blasting the robed figures, disrupting the ceremony. After all the 'Thorn' were defeated she thanked the hero. The hero responded ,'Don't thank me yet lady. Have you always looked that way?. She looked at her reflection and realized she had been changed. Since then she has used her new found powers to fight the 'Thorn'.

Powers - Dark force, healing, teleport

Origin - A first the power was seductive. All they had to do was cast a few spells. But as time went on, this son of a priest started having doubts. Finally, one day he could take no more and he lashed out at his fellow 'Thorn' members. They tortured him for hours, scarring his face and left him for dead. They should have finished the job. Now he wears an all black outfit and waits for the Thorn to return.

Eh... the initial idea was cool but I had sooo many ideas and so few slots on that one server. So I scrapped him in favor of another... but I thought the story kinda rocked.
