Thnks Silas, I knew you had a SS/Fire! So this 60%ish recharge is good enough? Of course I'll add more when I can afford purples, but is it ok to 'begin' then? I have a 28 ss/wp (which is said to be able to farm with common IOs) but wp is so boring... I'm used to play squishies or stalkers (which are kinda squishy, even more when I leveled my first two), so I like active secondaries, my only 50 scrapper is dm/da. I'm kinda poor redside but this build I can afford.
I'll change the HF and FE thing. Oh and the dark oblit too.
And that's his 'real' name on the game, and he's level 34 now! lol -
I can't live without Haymaker like you did in your build, I'll have to find some recharge bonuses elsewhere, I'm so tired of respeccing 2 50s and a 40, all full of IOs, that I can't think about mids now lol.
But I think my build will have to do, I'll test him for farming... he's 33 atm.

Do you have Ninja Run? NR+Hurdle+Sprint is so good, I found myself using it more than super jump on a Defender I played yesterday who had not logged for like 400 days. If you have NR I can try to fit in D. Shroud in the build. Also are you aware of the Blessing of the Zephyr Nerf in i17? You'll lose enough AoE defense so that it becomes kinda insignificant.
Why does Maneuvers have a rech IO in the last build? Ideally you'd slot for def and end, especially on such a tight build. And you can use gaussians (6-slots) in tactics instead of Adj Targetting for 2.5% extra def overall, more recovery, HP.
Or just skip tactics and get foc. accuracy doing the same thing with gaussians, this way you can free up a power (I'd get rid of soul transfer anyway, but you could leave conserve power off by picking foc acc).
Well modified just a bit - I'm insomniac so not thinking really well right now to plan the best build I can (still suffering to make my DM/DA end manageable because I want cloak of fear).
Aoe def is garbage in this build now, but better recovery, Death Shroud... Still end heavy especially if you run Tactics (you have +tohit in BF and +perception in CoDarkness anyway). With all these attacks (which I like, my Db/Elec took the same attacks) and considering Dark Regen recharges in 14.5 secs in the build, I'd consider getting rid of Hasten.

Just because I can't sleep. Not perfect, just made in 10 min - AoE def is almost capped (like 44%), 1 parry caps you melee, range is capped, HP is only 12 away from cap with accos but... 80% recharge+hasten!

Can't post anything right now, just make sure you get a Stedfast res/def Unique at least. 3% defense to all and its less expensive than the ones you have. Maybe the price of the Kismet.

The end drain is a bith high when running Maneuvers+Tactics and CoDarkness.
I'd take Death Shroud, I'd never skip it (or any damage aura, except maybe on a blaster but I don't play them). Minimum slotting for me is 2 acc/dam/end and 2 dam/end - you have blinding feint and tactics to help with the acc.
Nice melee def, the others will be nerfed by the BoTZ nerf tho.
I'd take O. Gloom at 35, push Maneuvers to 38 and move Soul Transfer to 49. O. Gloom is too good to get at 49.
You can use B Feint before dark regen... but I'd try to slot some acc in DR at least. It's not like your AoE defense will be anything special with the BoTZ nerf so I'd move the third slots in CJ and SJ for acc/rech/end or something in DR and another to help the end reduction in Maneuvers.
I like your slotting and picks on the DB powers since you're going primarily for melee def. But you're over the cap on two 3.75% melee def bonuses so I'd 5-slot crushing impacts + 1 achiless - res proc in Ablating Strike and 6-slot makos on another (ranged def, since now your is low considering the incoming BoTZ thing I mentioned).
Oh did I say NEVER skip a damage aura? -
Oh Gavin, good point about the -KB IOs. If I slot some KB IO in Super Speed at level 49 will it work in a Positron? It doesn't work as a proc (120 seconds), maybe as set bonus like LoTG? Or will it work anyway at level 5 slotted in a 49 power?

That was perfect Uberguy, thanks! I'm happy my firekin will be able to ex to 32 and keep all his recharge and def and stuff.
My Mind/Emp will suffer but I played everything in the game with her but 2 shard TFs (Faathim and some other - yes I did the horrible horrible Dr Q) so I'll only do high end stuff with her but she has some purps in case (and confuse is slotted with 30 Malaise IOs) and I'll go from 86% to 40% rech, no biggie. When she had 60% rech she was already a PITA lol, too much buffing and controlling and things recharging too fast like Fort, Mass Hyp, Terrify, extremely busy toon to play.
Oh Morbid I called then 'noob' because I played for 2 years before stopping for one, and I have 4 or 5 tricked out toons, but I always used lvl 50 enhancements. But they're not really 'noobish' as I caused quite the argument between very experienced players in the R. Offenders and Freedom channels when asking about this lol. -

Question 3. Say my firekin has a set of crushing impacts on seismic which he picked at lvl 44 and a lotg in rock armor at 47. All the IOs are level 20 for example, but placed on 40+ powers. If he does a synapse, will I get the set bonuses from those 'lost' powers?
So can i have a fully working build if I use 30 IOs when exemped at level 27? I always thought the greyed out powers dont count. And people are till arguinng in the channels about that, sorry I didnt quite understand. I'm aware of the 5 powers you get now when exemplaring but this IO question on high level powers is still making me wonder. -
Ok each person is telling me something different so I need clarification. I stayed away for 1.5 year from CoX and I used to IO my toons at 50, I am now looking to do this at 35.
So, numbered questions
1) The Miracle/Stealth/Numina/Kismet work as procs right, the 120 sec rule? Meaning, if I slot a 50 Numina unique on health at 20, and I exemplar to 18 or so I'll have the numina regen/recov bonus. Is that right? I know my 50 stealth proc on sprint works at any level I'm exemped.
2) The LoTG unique works as a set bonus so if I'm correct about Numina/etc, then the a 50 LoTG won't give the 7.5% rech if I'm exemped below 47, right?
3) People are telling me that greyed out powers' set bonuses count. So say I have a lvl 35 Crushing Impact set in my firekin's Seismic Smash (lvl 44 power) and I'm exemped to 32, obviously losing the S. Smash power. People in channels are telling me the bonuses from the Crushing Impact set would still work at 32, and that a 35 LoTG +rech would also work exemped at 32 slotted in rock armor (lvl 47 power). Is this true? Because if that's the case I'll always IO my toons with 35s when possible, because I'd have all the bonuses from all the sets from lvl 32 onwards.
4) What about a proc slotted in a late power? Like a Miracle +recov in Physical Perfection. If I lose the power, I lose the proc right, so it wouldnt work exemped even if it were a lvl 20 miracle.

Thank you, I'll look into your build when I reboot into Windows next time. More recharge, a bit more HP, I like it! Just gotta check the rech times on KO Blow and other stuff. I'll keep Gloom anyway (bosses). And I wanna keep the -12 KB because ppl like Silas told me 12 pts are needed for the Fake Nemesis. Your response is much appreciated, I may get some ideas especially to up the recharge

Worry not my friend, I made a strong and pretty build. Look at how much pretty HP, the strong recharge and regeneration, and even 25% psi defense.
I think this is the ultimate Broot and the Fambly will never laugh at you again.

The main bonus of Adj Targetting is the 5% global recharge, I guess that's why he picked it.

Oh thanks mac (and barrier). I can see how to do that with Dominate (I did that a lot with my mind/emp, in RV or normal PvE, even by accident in PvE) but... TS? Like, you use TS and activate something right after the 3.3 seconds? For example TS+jump after the animation is done and then you can trow sharks without the cast time?

The one thing I know I'd like to do with him someday is that I'd like to Tank the Lady Grey TF with him, though I would appreciate any input anyone has about how he'll function in other SFs.
Power Surge is the same thing as scrappers, but you get 90% res maximum instead of 75% because of Brute higher resist caps. Same timer, same crash, same thing, better res because it's a Brute. -

And it happens, I've done so many /fire armor builds that later I saw 'doh I forgot Blazing Aura' or 'Oopsie no KB protection and no slots left'.
I kinda know this stuff about /DA by heart because I LOVE Dark Armor, and Elec Armor.
And I know it's hard to get all the DB attacks on a Stalker... My scrapper didn't have to take Nimble Slash for A. Vitals. Since you have to, and Nimble Slash is really meh after you got all your stuffs recharging fast, I'd really treat N. Slash like a part of the combo only... had a NB/Ninja build that used 2 slots on it, 2 acc/dam so I could take Sweeping Strike too. DB's cones are so good (90 degree arc) -

I pvp'ed quite a bit on SC with my EM/Nin but I'm not familiar with the term. I was getting practice is ASing zigzagging superspeeding people but I didn't get good at it so I used Total Focus/ET a lot lol (which I know, dosn't crit for double).

I love triple-nuking on my rad/psy: EM Pulse, Fallout for the massive -res (50%), -def, -tohit and -dmg (all 30%), and then Psychic Wail. Would be even better if my secondary had Aim (Aim+EM+Fallout+Blizzard is pure awesome).
And hey, you're a controller with a tanky pet, you can chill out a bit and lock down mobs while EM Pulse halts your recovery, you don't need to attack all the time like a defender/corr to help your team as you already know (yes i find trollers > defs). -
Good defenses (most at the 40% range with Hide suppressed), good recharge at 61%, but:
You don't have any KB protection. At least 4 points for a Stalker.
You picked up your mez protection at level 30, WAY too late. I'd pick it at 10 and move murky cloud to 20 before stamina. I'd also slot stamina with 4 perf shifters (endmod, endmod/acc, endmod/rech and the +end proc) as it caps your hp with accos and gives you more recovery. Plus you're over the cap in the HP bonuses from Efficacy Adaptor and Decimation.
I don't know why you picked up CoF and OG, but CoF needs a LOT of accuracy (have you seen its base accuracy? It sucks), some endred would be good too if you stick with it. Also, put at least some accuracy in O.Gloom, like the acc/rech piece of the purple set, the stun will last long enough. All OG needs is an ACC IO, but if you want the recovery from 2 AAmazements, use a piece with accuracy.
I don't see much use in putting the FF +recharge proc in a ST attack like you did in Vengeful Slice, I'd put it in 1kCuts.
I'd slot BU with 2 Rec. Reticle (perception and tohit/rech or maybe tohit and tohit/rech) and 2 common rech IOs, your slotting has almost no recharge and I like to maximiz rech on BU (or six slot with gaussians for 80%ish rech and overall defenses), dark armor already has enough perception for PvE in Shadow Dweller (another power taken too late, I'd move Stamina to 24 or whenever you can) so don't really need the perception IO.
I wouldn't skip sweeping strike as it's another cone with high damage, maybe putting only 2 acc/dam HOs in Nimble slash since it already recharges quickly (for the A. Vitals combo) and taking and or 6 slotting Sweeping Strike, ditching CoFear since it has no accuracy anyway and I don't think you need it with O. Gloom.
I'd also take Placate earlier than 26 (2 rech IOs are enough btw) but it's fine if you don't want to exemplar below 20. You can always Placate+Vengeful Slice for good damage if you already used AS.
I'd slot more recharge in Shadow Meld, your numbers look fine opening the build because you have the FF proc turned on, on V. Slice, turn it off for realistic results for SM and BU.
Moonbeam is COMPLETELY useless because of its activation/interrupt time (much longer than Blaster/Defs/Corrs snipes) and it takes forever to recharge, while Dark Blast may be useful as a ranged attack and only has a 6s base rech compared to Moonbeam's 24s.
And put the kismet unique in a power that will be always activated such as Hide or Shadow Dweller, or else you'll have to remember to use Shadow Meld every 120 seconds to get the benefit from Kismet.
I also wouldn't build for regen since the numbers aren't all that great on a Stalker even with hp capped and you have dark regen (which may give you end issues due to poor endredux slotting depending on how lucky you are with the ToE proc) , but ymmv. -
So I've been leveling an ELM/Regen. He has a PvE build planned, but I decided to take a shot basing at what I've seen here to try to put a PvP build for him, since I'll eventually want to PvP again, even if not all the time, or I'll burn out again quickly from this game. Well here goes my first attempt for a PvP build post-i13, I tried to keep it cheap, I'm not rich redside, when I left the game I could purple out a toon with the 800 mil I had left, now this money can buy... 4 pieces of some purple set lol. Thoughts (please)? I don't know how much DR my recharge will suffer, if Hibernate with this slotting will be available after the nophase timer, the DR on my damage (tried to put as much damage bonuses as I could), well I don't even know if Recon get's Dr'ed if you use it too quickly. I don't know **** lol.

What Zandock said. Check Fury_Flechette's topic 'elec/sd and fire/sd builds for any budget', they are much better than this one and most include fireball for more AoE if you want to farm. Even the cheapest one there is better than this, much cheaper and more balanced for regen and recovery.

Nice that I could give you ideas. OG actually only needs 1 acc (it uses as much end as CJ), but it's a great mule for the purp stun set.
The OG build is close to 70% rech (I love recharge too), is end sustainable and has better acc bonuses, but I don't know how the staggering will affect FSC. With Spine Burst it's not a problem because of its huge radius.
I'm still struggling to make my DM/DA using a CoF build with defense that can perform decently because of end issues, I have made 6 or 7 builds for her lol, since I played about 3 months' time (remember i9/i10, hard to get to 50 with no PLing) to get her to 50 and IO her, with OG, so I want a change of pace (a 'fear build' so I can fear everything with Touch of Fear and CoF - but it's been hard man... Gave up for now on her, she still has a pre-DM buff build with siphon slotted with 1 acc+3 numinas or 2 heal IOs, i don't remember, b/c siphon life wasn't a 'real' attack, and I used S.Punch-Smite with the occasional M. Grasp thrown in because SPunch animated faster before the changes).
