I have fallout but I have to say I hardly use it, I honestly forget sometimes or the player has ressed up already before I can use it as they even forgot, which is understandable also. So I am not using as much as I would like to.

EM Pulse I'm a bit scared loosing my end being a controller.

So trying to get a feel how players are using in the rad secondary.

Its a Earth Rad build I am working on BTW.

I'd like you to look up the Repeat Offenders and ask them about their Fallout teams. I've been bait on a few of them, and it's honestly a lot of fun.

Also, I love having EM Pulse on controllers. It's one of the best control powers in the game, which is why it takes so much endurance. It's like a mini-nuke, so I treat it like one and pop a couple of blue insps. It isn't as if the enemies will be going anywhere for a little while.

Too many alts to list.

I love triple-nuking on my rad/psy: EM Pulse, Fallout for the massive -res (50%), -def, -tohit and -dmg (all 30%), and then Psychic Wail. Would be even better if my secondary had Aim (Aim+EM+Fallout+Blizzard is pure awesome).

And hey, you're a controller with a tanky pet, you can chill out a bit and lock down mobs while EM Pulse halts your recovery, you don't need to attack all the time like a defender/corr to help your team as you already know (yes i find trollers > defs).

Just for a different opinion, I have neither on my rad. Partly because of a tight build and partly cause Fallout can be a pain to use. Normally, if your teammates are dying its either cause of bad luck and the debuff won't be a game changer, or its starting to be a team wipe, in which it is nice, but I often find I have other stuff to do. Now, I didn't play with fallout for all that long, so I'm not an expert, also fallout is way better with the tp too. If you don't have friend TP, probably not worth it. EM pulse I liked better, manly because I can stack it with another nuke that drains end, like my toon's dreadful wail. But, when I respec'd out of my nuke, I never used EM pulse.

I've seen another toon the same as mine (sonic/rad) use both all the time and it worked really well, but I would recommend only getting EM Pulse if your primary has a nuke (aim is nice too).

The most important thing about [Fallout] is having teammates who know how to use it. When your teammates start getting themselves killed only in the middle huge packs of enemies and when Fallout recharges you know you've got some skilled and experienced players on your team.

Most people think "no no" dying is bad, we'll fail if we die." Experienced players know "dying can be good, we need to die at the right time and places".

It's kind of odd how the usefulness of Fallout sorta goes like this...

Really bad players --- normal players --- really good players
Useful ------------------- not as useful --------- useful
