    The Justice Crab

Hello all, after countless hours on mids I have finally found a build that I am happy with for my crab! Now one thing about this crab is that it will no doubt be very different from many others, unlike most, I love the crab legs and i wanted to fully embrace their awesomeness! I also wanted to create a build that would remain among the other top-tier crab builds. If there is any way that i can improve upon this build please let me know! I know that a few stats in powers are just a tad bit low and I wanted to point out that i will be using enhancement boosters in order to make up for that. A PBAOE style in your face crab who has excellent ST and AOE damage with pets and is extremely tough!

    Goals were-
45% defense to all three positions
    Solid resists
    Very high HP
    manageable endurance
    perma-hasten
    perma-serum
    95% chance to hit 54s
    solid protection to mez/knockback
    ST DPS chain of Slice->channelgun->repeat
perma pets/ Strong protection of pets through maneuvers/ios
I want to play a PBAOE style crab and take advantage of void judgement and that style of play with the crab legs

    Incarnate powers-
Cardiac to manage my Endurance and increase my damage resistance
Void judgement to increase my Dam resistance and also have a Large PBAOE to apply to my style
interface- reactive to maximize DPS and because I like the effects of my lasers setting people on fire
and Destiny- rebirth to make up for the lack of heal
    Arachnos lore to match spiders

Please let me know how I can improve upon this!

Just lemme know if there is anything else I could do in order to improve upon this build.

  3. Hello all, I AM A FORTUNATA... *please dont kick me out of the scrapper forums*
anyways, i am trying to put together a hybrid fortunata, however when facing AVs and the like i would prefer to only use melee attacks as they have highe DPS. now then, im very good at putting together builds, but bad at finding optimal attack chains or calculating how much recharge it ould take to make a chain work.

I have 4 melee attacks; swipe, strike, folow-up, and lunge.

I need to know the best DPS chain achievable with these 4 attacks and how much recharge it is going to take to make work, I will list the animation times and base recharge along with the base damage of each and if anyone can help me put together a chain and let me know how much recharge i will require to achieve said chain I would gretly appreciate it.

Thank you for all who reply!

    Swipe
    animation time-0.83
    base recharge-4
    Base damage-57.83

    Strike
    animation time-1.17
    base recharge-8
    Base damage-95.5

    Follow-up
    animation time-0.83
    base recharge-12
    Base damage-50.72
Boosts damage by 30% for 10 seconds
(I remember long in the past that there was an awkward pause after using follow-up powers which made its animation time actually longer than stated, if anyone could verify if this is still true or not it would help out in calculatin a chain)

    Lunge
    animation time-0.83
    base recharge-12
    Base damage-123.7
  4. Hello everyone I am revamping my old fire/kin in order to farm for purps and to powerlevel those who don't have access to the AE.

I will be doing the battle maiden farm and the council empire far

I have heard of people no longer using flashfire before jumping in and it increases farm time

What I really need help on is which epic pool do I take and what are goals I need to slot sets for

Money is really no object, except no 2 billion influence enhancements

Thank you to all who reply
  5. Does anyone know how much DPS a combo of
    swipe-->strike-->followup-->lunge would do?
    and for strike-->followup-->lunge---Dominate?
I am sorry for not being better at math....
  6. Hello my fellow scrapper friends I hear you guys are the absolute best at formulating DPS chains and calculations so I have just a few questions that I need some help with
1)I am a melee fortunata, with bucket loads of + recharge 5 purple sets and 5 lotg +
    Recharge

2)currently I have the powers swipe ,strike, followup, and lunge and am using all 4 however they aren't slotted well, and dominate but I heard redraw kills my DPS so I don't include it in my av attack chain

    3) I am slotted with the best nerve alpha I can get and have multiple +accuracy bonuses from purples, so accuracy isn't a high priority for me

Here is what I need from you...
The ultimate fortunata attack chain and the optimal slotting in each of the powers. Only catch is one of them has to have 5 pieces of the hecatomb set
Also if someone could help me figure out about how much DPS I will be doing it would be really helpful thank you guys so much
P.S.-what does the reactive interface slot so to DPS?
  7. So obviously my build is incredibly expensive, but thats okay because i have tons of merits and influence saved up for this very character, lemme know how I can improve upon my build in anyway, i like my power choice, but if you think there is something better please explain and why.

    Goasl-
1)Be able to use either total domination, AOC, or psychic wail every single mob
    2)perma mind link/hasten
    3)Good DMG bonus
4)melee attack chain for incredible DPS
5)ability to solo AVs, ( i have no problem using inspirations and temps, as long as it gets killed)
6)crits out of hide for an assassin feel
    7) Solo-friendly and team-friendly

So here goes, please help me improve in anyway if you know any build tricks etc.

  8. really? because i was looking at the numbers and at:
90% fury, and fully saturated AOO hitting build up right before i hit those two powers it would be the equivalent to doing something absurd like 1200 damage? is that not quite enough?
  9. Hello everyone, recently I have made an elec/shield brute for hopefully what will be my purple farmer, I have a few goals and I need you guys to help me reach them...

    1. I plan on pretty much only hitting build then both shield charge and lightning rod, whats the highest setting possible for me to clear an entire mob with these two powers? I will not be fighting bosses and i will be running the battle maiden map. so basically with that combination be able to run +1,2,3, or 4 x 8?

2.if i were to be hitting mobs +4 of me with those powers, what level of total ACC would I need to have in my powers to get to the 95% cap?

    3. third and finally, how effective overall do you guys think this combination would be farming for recipes?
  10. Jordon_Justice

    BM farm?

How can you get the demon farm without it expiring? and do you by chance know the copntact name for the council empire map?
  11. Jordon_Justice

    BM farm?

so everyone i see still is able to run this in peregrine island but i remember a few issues ago they made it where you could no longe get the demon farm, and i was wondering if it is still at all possible to get the BM farm?
  12. Hello everyone, I am a several year vet, not even sure how many right at the second, but i know its been a long time!

I am just now diving into the base construction world and I must say i am very impressed, I love the fact of having my own base, and i heard that some of the buffs that you can get from your base are pretty substantial!

What i need help with is figuring out exactly how much i will need for my goals and how to achieve some of them!

    1. The base buffs are a pretty big deal as i usually only run 4-6 man teams all of which are family/close friends and sometimes we want to be able to complete the harder content with fewer people which i understand is very difficult, how do i get all the base buffs and what kind of room do i need for that?

2.Managing energy/control, i dont want a massive base but i see theres ways to unlock better generators and such through craft tables, are those worth it?

3.Is there a way to store recipes?

4.Like i said, my SG is mainly composed of family and close-knit friends so i do not demand a HUGE base, or TELIPADS TO EVERY AREA! I just need a functional base, some storage, and a place to call home also how difficult is it to get telipads and how much do they cost?
  13. I believe that the addition of these two ATs would make gameplay incredibly fun! In a lot of ways they would be similar to the addition of widows/soldier! I personally feel it would be a HUGE boost to the game and im sure there are many many other people who feel the same!
    thoughts?

    Scorpion Shield

WOW WOW WOW! thank you so much for the helpful video, just one more question, does shark skin have a heavy effect?
  15. Jordon_Justice

    Scorpion Shield

Can someone please post what this toggle looks like? Im looking for an extremely minimal effect and dont want something to break my characters concept but the +DEF would be very nice! my character is a natural/tech character and i dont want any auras on him so please help me by posting a short vid, pic, or description!
  16. I have realized that ive been starting WAAAY too many questions in the past week on the forums and so i would like to consolidate all of my posts questions and the few new ones i have into this post....

1)does the - speed stack from multiple caltrops being placed at once?

2)I heard that by placing procs into triage beacon you can make it provide +recovey to everyone in the radius, but i dont believe it is true, just want confirmation?

3)By having multiple acid mortars out at once the -RES will stack because its coming from a "pet" and not the same caster right?

4)Is softcapping my pes or myself more important for PVE, because im finding it hard to do both?

5)do pretty much all thugs need a few endurance reduction in them? because it seems to me they are ALWAYS low on end

    6) how much -regen is considered flooring an AV?

7)is DAM RES resited by AVS as they do many debuffs?

8)how much def do enforcers provide unslotted?

    9) any future questions i have will be posted on this post so check back often please thank you all to who reply
  17. Does caltrops stack -speed if you throw a bunch out at one time? like if i was able to get them to stack could that be essentially double - speed?
  18. Ah yes before everyone jumps me, i know that this has been brought up several several times, and ive done my reading and got conflicting reports.

What I need to know is...
Does the DMG scale off of which tier pet you use to blow up?

Has anyone had a positive experience with this power and urges me to keep it? or should it be yet another skip power to get something else?

Ive nopticed that the DMG most of the time is roughly equivalent to two trip mines going off at the exact same time, seems like pretty awesome quick DMG correct?

If i do get this power how should i slot it?
  19. after rethinking it I probably wont be using the caltrop ragnarok proc, but i do have another question and dont want to post a new bulletin, so here goes....

Ive seen many people in their builds put the numina regen/recov in triage beacon, is this more useful in triage beacon than health? does it only affect me? or does it affect everyone? and does it always effect me? or only while triage is up and im in the radius? little confused on that one thank you all for the replys
  20. Hello just a quick question, if i put the ragnarok proc into caltrops how useful will it be? and if yuo know the mechancics behind it id greatly appreciate it
  21. Jordon_Justice

    Thugs and END?

Well actually i was jut going to slot an END reduction IO? do i need i to be part of a set for it to affect all of their powers?
  22. Jordon_Justice

    Thugs and END?

Hey everyone, im trying to work on a build for my thugs/traps and the only real question I have as of right now is which of my pets will I need to slot and END reducer in? i heard that arsonist and enforcers run out of end fast? is that true? and if so how do i need to slot my end reduction in them?
  23. A natural control set would be incredible! something that could be truly justified as a natural set, not an alien race whos natural, or someone who uses lightning zappy gloves, NO! im talking about a good ole control set that is either grenade mastery, arrow control, device oriented control, SOMETHING! that is all
  24. Hello everyone, just looking for a quick answer, ima thugs/traps MM and i would like to be able to stealth into mobs and plant traps without being spotted

If i get stealth and put the celerity stealth io into sprint and have both running will i be invisible to PVE mobs?
  25. Hello all, I have recently created a thugs/traps to duo with my cousins Dualpistols/trick arrow defender. I have a few questions as to how to slot my pets, powers, and make sure you all agree on my power decisions. please review my power choices, I am going to be aiming for 45% Defense to melee ranged and aoe and i will have almost capped resists to Smash/lethal without even being in BG mode! :O I would also like my thugs to be softcapped as well.. my cousins stacking his maneuvers on mine as well, and i will hopefully be packing the +rech on this build, please help me build a thugs/traps able to take out avs and some of the harder content with my duo
