I have no pics, but it's a light purple glow with little effects that emulate bullets defelecting off the shield every once in a while. I would say that it is very unobtrusive for a shield, but the color may not match your character.
Black Scorpions emblem floats around every now and then. its not constant but it may bother you.
If you want you can always use one of your other builds to test it out. Unfortunately I have respeced all of my toons that had it.

Shark skin has a fairly noticable effect, but it's not an obnoxious one. In some ways it's similar to scorpion shield - it's a similar sort of glow, but instead of purple it's a medium blue color. It's a somewhat brighter glow than scorpion shield, but it really doesn't look bad at all - as long as the color is acceptable. Oh, and it has that faint symbol pulse like scorpion, but it's mako's symbol and it's in a light blue.

Can someone please post what this toggle looks like? Im looking for an extremely minimal effect and dont want something to break my characters concept but the +DEF would be very nice! my character is a natural/tech character and i dont want any auras on him so please help me by posting a short vid, pic, or description!
