Quote:WRONGIt's a room in the blue caves maps that has multiple layers to it and huge hole in the middle. It's the single worst room in the game, with enemies hiding behind pillars and in little holes and corners.
Second Worse room in the game.
THE WORSE ROOM is the new Arachnos Techno Cake Room(Came out with Grandville came out). Its 5x Bigger(Vertically) & 3x Bigger around.
That room is dreaded far more by anyone, even masterminds.

I found to get past the Swap Ammo issue
Click it to Dynamic Mode, Add 2 Slots, then Swap it back to Lvl Mode. It will work then

Quote:I know members of my regular static team have said they wouldn't ever want to team with a mastermind due to the potential for pets causing trouble.
I've since come up with an agreed upon experiment for GR that is based on my play style when I act as a team troller or defender.
Basically, unlike with the majority of scrappers, blasters and tankers, where you want to be running all your toggles or cycling all of your attacks, with defenders and trollers it is usually a much better idea to stick to your three to four bread and butter powers and save most your main powers for situational needs.
This came about with playing my illusion/storm especially. (granted she's part of an all-troller team)
Hurricane, Gale, Tornado and Phantom Army rarely see use. Greater invisibilty usually stays off unless I'm scoutting due to my use of Steamy Mist. I don't even have Flash (all troller team, so...it hasn't been needed)
Most of our fights come down to Sleet Storm, Spectral Terror and then spot controls with Blind, Spectral Wounds and Confuse.
I only bring out the Army if there's a significant force to deal with. I only use Hurricane to deny the enemy access to an area, usually when indoors and in conjunction with another teammember's Bonfire and another's Earthquake and Quicksand. I only use Tornado indoors so far, and only when I know where all the enemies are, as long as I can control/predict the enemy's position, I can make use of the Tornado.
Likewise, I intend to take this philosophy with Mastermind.
Use only one pet summon at a time for most circumstances, in cases where we're expecting heavy resistance, bring them all out ahead of time and enhance. In case of surprise, probably get them upgraded slower, but still quickly enough.
Basically, only use as much force as is needed for the particular situation, no more, no less.
Enjoy death. You realize a Mastermind is Redside's Tank, your HP in Bodyguard mode is higher then most Tanks.

I own lvl 50 Thugs/Trick Arrow & a lvl 50 Mercs/Pain Mastermind.
Those would destroy Blueside mobs without a blink
JJ -
Well Legacy Chain on a team & Wyvern on a Team, will spawn more & tougher mobs(I only team).
They get some nasty AOEs & Pet Summons(L.C.) Plus sword AoE guys, at those lvls, you havent exactly gotten yourself rounded out just yet.
Plus MMs blueside wont have to deal with P.P.D. in any form.
JJ -
This just my opinion & was formed last night, when friends & I where just talking bout G.R. & classes both sides, this came up.
There is nothing there honestly on blueside that scares em(while on red, there are things that give em pause & rethink strategies at times or on the fly).
Redside stuff that can/could decimate MM fairly fast.
Scrapyarders
Longbow
Arachnos
Wyvern
Legacy Chain
Wailers(if your not good defense capped for pets)
are some the mobs friends & I where discussing that they wont face Blueside(Well you can avoid Arachnos if you skip most paper mishes or last half of Faultline)
What do they have to worry about low-mid lvl range?
Skulls? Hellions(well boss ones are always nasty), Outcasts? Trolls? As they work up, Freakshow & Council & Sky Raiders, again not much of a challenge for someone who knows how to play MMs. Both sides face CoT, Malta, Knives so can't really use that for high end, by that time experienced redside MMs, know how to handle those guys.
Should be interesting.

Nice dog, needs to eat some food!
I personally prefer Labradors or Mastiffs or Huskies
JJ -
What can I say about Jackoff that other's havent? Not much.
Other then fact, when you stated having Bill Roper in charge is a boon for C.O., thats funny.
This is the man that caused Hellgate London to crap out, to cause his Company Flagship Studios to crap out & go Bankrupt & told his player base to F off, when they asked if they could have Hellgate London be able to be lanned.
Which would of helped people who own the copy to at least be able to play with others, after the company crapped out, this was all behind the Visionary Lead of Mr. Roper.
So now Cryptic has Jack & Bill... You wonder why they are having "issues" over there

Quote:I thought about that, if they did keep same premise of classes, Defender, Corrupters, etc..If they ever do make a COH 2, I'm hoping that I can transfer everything over from COH 1.
Then I dont see why you couldnt port said character over to CoH2, but make em say lvl 1, 1 lvl for every 10 you earned in COH1. But limit this to 1 character. This would give incentive for folks to go into CoH2 with there beloved toon I guess.
But beyond that, I think flat out fresh start with whole new world/revamp Paragon City/Revamped Rogue Isles, etc.. would be nice. With the Story moved foward heavily, so perhaps things are even more different.

Quote:So your trying to tell me, if they said, Listen!Argh, get my flamethrower...
All units; Can o' Worms is open! I repeat, Can o' Worms is open!
We got this new Engine that allows us to do 3x more stuff then we could do with CoH1, Plus we can now add even more powers to game, offer all sorts of unique maps, improved gameplay & QoL, plus have that this great(insert something)stuff to do now.
You wouldnt be like, Sqee?
JJ -
5yrs of same ol same ol, but oh well.
Market, we dont have the player base to support what it has become, not even WoW is that bad & they have the player base to support it if it did get that bad.
Honestly, Overhaul of everything, they should just work on CoH2
JJ -
-
I just got into the store, but I see nothing about any prepurchases
JJ -
Personally, Paragon Studios should either make there own engine or dumb Cryptics for a better Engine.
JJ -
8 Grand.
You count up subscription fees, all the add ons, character slots, couple transfers before the free transfer stuff, 2 name changes.
Then the Video Card & MoBoard & DvD Drive upgrades for the old computer, 4 Diff Headsets(In last 2 years)(For some reason I just tend to wear the wires out on them).
Then throw in the New Computer I just bought, after the latest MoBoard fried out on my old computer. Though I was going buy a new one anyways, turn old one into a Jukebox, not to mention all games I play at times as well.
Add in 13yrs of Playing MMOs, Ive had 3 Computers since I started.(newest being 3rd)
So, I spent bout 8 G's for 13yrs(5 of which is CoH(of & on at times)of entertainment. Ive spent easily twice that in Booze & Bad Choices during that time.

Quote:Nope, I read his rant, for most part he's babbling out of apparent open orificeHuh? Did you read that guys rant? Or did you just skip straight to what I said?
Which one it is, well we all can guess.
But your response just bugged me, Yes you dont care about options many folks would like to see, but that doesn't mean its right, many folks still would like to see some those options he listed(costume ones mainly)
So stating the specifics(Costume ones), did bug me a tad. Because more options is always a good thing & always will be.
JJ -
Quote:Thats great, this game isnt about what Perfect Pain wantsI dont care about monster parts at all. I dont play monsters. I also dont care about backpacks. I dont care if those things ever come into the game.
I myself would like to see backpack options though.
JJ -
Crap Ghost, your still around, how come I never see you ingame?
JJ -
Only thing I think should happen is have couple servers merged, beyond that, the Game is fine.
