Dangit, don't take this away from me! XD Besides, 'eating through tank armor' doesn't necessarily mean -RES, just... That... the bacteria are hungry. They'll eat your gun, too -- see, there's the -DMG component. :P

GoM up there had a petition for the assault rifle to be replaced for quite some time. He even proposed a model...

I hate to say it like this, but the set is EXACTLY what I'd have done if they gave me creative control over it. Now granted, a few things would be different - I liked my 'rigged pistol' idea a lot better than Rain of Bullets - but the overall feeling and balance of the set are just right.

I had Coldshok rounds, Inferno rounds, Snakebite [toxic] rounds, Piezo-Electric [Shock] rounds, all sorts of stuff! Fire, Ice, and Toxic were only what I decided to put forth for a Dual Pistols set idea and that's what stuck in Fox's profile.

According to the original design document, a good number of the Malta Group TacOps guys were supposed to have stealth capabilities! Also, trip mines, time bombs, gun turrets, yadda yadda. :P So... Yeah!
