Funny, but minor embarrassment

So our 8 man team was in the cake room which was filled with Tsoo. I was tanking and had just taunted and aggroed a bunch.

Someone pushed them all into the wall (the FF 'fender maybe) and I jumped over there to keep em in my aura, only I fell into a crack up to my head!

The Tsoo were pushed on top of me and, some of them. Trapped and stuck, I could only see the damn Sorc's bum and skirt when I looked up while they were all whaling on me! Horrible!

*Blunt runs crying to his room*

I've been in that room a thousand times, easily, and I never saw that damn crack before. *grumbles*

Has anything stupid like that happen to you?

The cake room?

I've been on most of the maps in this game often enough to have subconsciously memorized them, and I keep the map window open, and I still regularly get lost when I'm on a team. Last time I did the ITF, I somehow ended up on the complete opposite side of a map from the rest of the team.

I also tend to forget to use my Ouroboros portal when I'm on teams. I never forget that it's there when I'm solo, but as soon as there's a team window, my mind goes into "get to the tram!" mode and I don't remember that I have access to the portal until someone else uses one.

I do a lot of moderately embarrassing things on teams. It's normal for me.

I was running around Striga with a team, street-sweeping on the way to a mission. Don't remember the character specifically other than it was a Scrapper. I kinda got into a zone, attacking away with the team, doing very well. Suddenly I realized that every name around me was blue, and in team chat were variations on "We're at the mission, what the hell are you doing?"

I apologized profusely to both my team and the other street-sweeping team I had blundered into whose defeats I was zealously stealing, and got laughs from everyone. Scrapper-lock, what can you do.

The worst thing about the cake room is teams invariably split up (usually just accidentally) and end up getting ganked because they thought they could go it solo (or fell through a crack). I've done it more than a couple of times and I think the last time I was in one I did the same thing, dammit. It's always a bit funny to be dashing about trying to find your other teammates and seeing that at least one is near-red and quickly dropping.

Best way to do those rooms is to all go to the bottom of it and work your way up, FYI. That way if you fall through you at least won't be facing a whole mod by yourself.

The cake room sucks just as much as its more fascist brother, the Nazi Bath House.

My wife and I did a mission in the Nazi Bath House. She'd never been there. I kept saying the entire time "this map is terrible. This map is terrible. You're going to hate it".

There's a simple strategy for the cake room:

Go to the lowest level as a group and clear it.

Have someone run the other levels and draw/drag/aggro/push the rest of the spawns to the lowest level, which should now be one giant trap. Just keep feeding the rest of the team at the bottom new chum.
