Even if you ask nicely, it might not be possible anyway. There are some character aspects that the GM's can not adjust. I don't know if that is one of them.
-
They're in the late stages of introducing a huge number of changes to game systems. More patches to the game is an unfortunate side effect of improvements.
-
Your damage is constrained by ED limits anyway. If you're using IO sets, you can easily get all the damage and recharge you can handle, but still get some endurance reduction. You may need to focus on the IO effects rather than the set bonuses (i.e. frankenslotting) but it's easily doable.
-
You can not go back and do the Mayhem mission again.
You have three other options for a rez power:
1) Invention Recipe - Resuscitator - Ally rez power recipe which you can buy at the Consignment House and craft at an invention worktable.
2) Day Job Power - Revive Ally - Logging off in a hospital for 21 cumulative days will get you the Day Job badge. Doing the same at a university will get you another Day Job badge and the Physician Accolade. Once you have Physician, logging off in a hospital *OR* university will give you charges of the Revive Ally power.
3) Medicine Power Pool - You can get a power called Resuscitate, but you have to take 2 other powers from the pool first. Not sure if you want to spend 3 powers on this.
If you play frequently and/or die a lot, the Day Job power won't keep up. You'll need to go with the one from the market. -
Speaking of a typo, did you mean 'Heineken'?

Quote:I think he figured you would know based on the amount of time you spend on the forums. It was announced in a couple of threads. No I don't know that because I can't log onto the beta server that my characters were on. Once I'm able to log on I'll be able to confirm if that is what happened.
Edit: One of the announcements is here. -
Quote:But, according to the log-in screen, apparently less populated - which seems to be a major concern for the OP.Or Defiant, which is like Union only much more awesome. :-)
I don't play on Virtue or Freedom much because I feel they're too crowded. But if someone insists they have to have the highest population possible, that's where I would send them. -
Quote:Well, sort of. Technically, the Good vs Evil jump pack and the Steampunk pack are toggles and you can use them with Ninja Run. This is a very useful combination as the Ninja Run gives you speed and air control (ability to change direction in mid-air) and the packs give you the ability to climb and/or 're-jump' before you hit the ground.Ninja Run only prevents you from running a toggle travel power, since Inertial Reduction isn't a toggle, there shouldn't be any conflict.

Quote:Close. The actual commands to use multiple files areIf you want to do this with multiple characters, as I recall, you can add a filename to the end - say, /bindsave empathbinds, /bindsave icedom, then just /bindload with the name on the next character of that sort. Otherwise (again, IIRC) it just overwrites the file.
/bindsavefile <filename>
and
/bindloadfile <filename> -
Quote:The question isn't relevant. Since you had a paid account, you will automatically be a Premium member. F2P means you never spent a penny on the game. To be Premium, all you need is:But can I use my 30 scrapper on a f2p account is my question.
1) Be a current or former subscriber.
OR
2) Make ONE purchase of Paragon Points. -
As an aside, my ice/SS does not have enough recharge to stack Rage and, despite what many people seem to think, the Rage crash is not an automatic trip to the hospital. Not even close.
Regarding the issue you're observing, since it happens after zoning I'm guessing it has a cause similar to the effect that lets you stack buffs on teammates. When you zone, the game 'forgets' the ownership of your buffs so that the 'Does not stack from same caster' restriction is ignored. I'm not clear why that would affect Rage stacking, but it seems the likely suspect. -
Quote:I would second this. Also, to really get rid of downtime between spawns, I would take the regen or willpower sets. With those sets, your hit points and endurance won't hold you back. If you want to solo like the Energizer Bunny, that's the way to go.Probably going to be a brute or scrapper. Specific power sets are negotiable, since it's difficult to build either one in such a way that it won't solo well.
If you had big bucks, I'd answer differently. IO sets can take care of regen and recovery easily and you could go with any powersets. -
Keep in mind, though, that the Incarnate effects have much higher odds to trigger at the high tiers. Most IO's are only 20% (33% for purples).

Quote:I think this is your main problem. On the occasions when I do play on a weekday afternoon, I don't recall seeing any servers even hitting medium load. You might want to check out the Union server since their peak times are about 5 hours ahead of ours. Or do the Incarnate stuff on the weekends.I play mostly during EST daytime hours, so it's not peak time by any means,
Pinnacle isn't dead (I have characters there) and this is not a problem that can be solved by server merges. If they tried that, any server that's 'busy' in the afternoon would be overloaded during prime time. -
I'm sure it can discriminate. But damage and debuffs both cause aggro (and are intended to do so) - just to different degrees. I don't think the system distinguishes between type or amount of debuff, while it is affected by how much damage is being done.
-
Definitely a wrong assumption. Applying a debuff causes aggro. Smoke Grenade is specifically coded not to cause aggro. This is a characteristic of the power and you can't make generalizations about debuffs from it.
Aggro generated by an IO has to be independent of the characteristics of the power it's slotted in. Otherwise you could slot a damaging IO and kill enemies without them ever aggroing. -
Actually, I think the most relevant point was that the harassment occurred in voice chat and had absolutely no bearing on City of Heroes. So the entire post/thread was a waste of space.

Quote:<snerk>I figure I'll add this, as it may come up (or have come up)
There is potential legal issue if they have advertised anywhere that Going Rogue unlocks the Incarnate system, or allows you to turn your hero/villain into an incarnate. Simply as at that point it is a legally advertised part of the product, which they would have to deliver on.
"I think this game has screwed me out of $15. CALL MY LAWYER!" -
I think this should be done AFTER Freedom launches. A few months delay has the potential to bring in more players. We can't guess how many people who had trial accounts will be itching to come back now that they can play for free. And when I say, "We can't guess how many...", it could be thousands or it could be zero.

Quote:No. Server maintenance is Thursday only.Server maintainance is Mondays and Thursdays 7am edt to 9am edt. Patches usually happen on Tuesdays.
On the other hand, I expected this. They usually have an extra maintenance after Double XP or Reactivation weekends. The servers really get hammered during special events. -
Quote:From the first sentence, I'll conclude you're a 'high performing' player and probably have multiple 50's.I made a new toon (brute) and got it to 50 this weekend (red side). I just unlocked my 2 additional costume slots and now I want to get my cape.
In case anyone is unaware, there is a new option to unlock capes and auras. You can BUY the unlock from from Astral Christy in Ouroboros. This puts a VOUCHER in your global email that you can claim from any character on the account. I did this with a new character to get an aura at level 9. -
It should be noted that the Flight power has to already be on for the above to work. It will not turn on Flight for you.
-
You're applying a debuff. BY DESIGN, that generates a lot of aggro. Watch when a player puts a radiation debuff toggle on someone.
-
And then:
Imperious
Katie Hannon
Admiral Sutter
Sara Moore
Moonfire (again)
... ending Double XP at level 46.
On a side note, the Rainbow Path Aura was a big hit. Many people had never seen it before and wanted to know where they could get one.
