Potentially stupid question!

So, I finally managed to get my fiancee to play CoV with me, and we've found great utility out of the resuscitate power you get from the level 15-20 Mayhem mission in Skyway City. Sadly, it just ran out for both of us, and I was asked if we could get to back to which I answered "...I don't know..."

So, is there a way to go back and do that skyway city mayhem mission at 29? Or is there an alternate way/power we could use?

You can not go back and do the Mayhem mission again.

You have three other options for a rez power:
1) Invention Recipe - Resuscitator - Ally rez power recipe which you can buy at the Consignment House and craft at an invention worktable.
2) Day Job Power - Revive Ally - Logging off in a hospital for 21 cumulative days will get you the Day Job badge. Doing the same at a university will get you another Day Job badge and the Physician Accolade. Once you have Physician, logging off in a hospital *OR* university will give you charges of the Revive Ally power.
3) Medicine Power Pool - You can get a power called Resuscitate, but you have to take 2 other powers from the pool first. Not sure if you want to spend 3 powers on this.

If you play frequently and/or die a lot, the Day Job power won't keep up. You'll need to go with the one from the market.

The Mayhem/Safeguard missions aren't available via Ouroboros. The only way to redo one that you have outleveled is to find another character with that mission and join them.

However, that would not help you in this case. You only get the bonus power the first time you sucessfully complete those missions.

As an alternate one of you could dip into the Medicine Pool, but that's probably not what you're looking for. The are two temp version that I know of, first is from the Physician Day Job Accolade. Easy to get, renewable, but somewhat time consuming.

You're probably better off visiting the Auction Houses and picking up the craftable version. I have no idea what the power or it's salvage are currently going for though.

If you're looking for a self rez, you'll need to create a new character with one as part of their powerset. The only other temp version is from the Master Architect Badge and only works in the AE.

I would just use the crafted one. The Med pool works for some characters, but tends to be wasteful on most. I prefer the day job badge for mission completion bonuses until I hit 50.

iirc one of the options for beating up Snaptooth for the past 2 years was a rez power so try finding someone with the mishes still available

You can do the Mayhem/SG mish again as long as you find someone of the appropriate level to get and run it but you will not gain the temp if you already have been awarded it. You also won't receive it if you are below the mish level range.

I will add that come Freedom and i21, one of the Paragon Rewards will be [Return to Battle] which is a really nice self rez for all your characters (30min recharge). Unfortunately for newer players, it is not available until Tier 8, so that means waiting a while or buying a bunch of Paragon Points to get Reward Points to get that far.

It may not be a particularly viable option, but it is there.

Or combine three other inspiration of the same level & type into a Wakie....

Personally, I try to carry a Wakie, a Break Free and a blue endurance inspiration when I think I'm might need to self res. That gets me back into the fight with only three clicks.

The Snaptooth mission available year round (by those who have unlocked it) is the Valentine's one. That one does NOT offer a rez temp power.

The Baby New Year mission from Father Time (located in the Ski Chalet during the Winter Event) is the mission that offers the temp rez power.

It just so happens that the Ski Chalet was opened at the end of DXP weekend and if I remember correctly, should be open for about another week. However, when they open the Ski Chalet in the off season, they don't always let you run the missions (sometimes it's just there for the ski slopes and the candy keeper). I haven't been in there this time around, so I don't know if Father Time's mission is available.

Even if it's not, you can buy Candy Canes from the market, and trade them in at the Candy Keeper for any of the Winter Badges, Costume parts and/or Temp Powers.

The rez power is one of the ones available via candy canes, unless I'm greatly mistaken.

I think the Ski Lodge is open isn't it? If you have any candy canes, or are willing to buy some you could get that rez power now.

That is correct. Which is why I said that.

You said that temp powers were available for Candy Canes, but you didn't specify that the rez power was one of them.

I was just clarifying for the OPs benefit.
