I have, a couple of times, had GMs refund or reverse particularly stupid choices I made. Just...
If you go demanding that they fix it because their stupid game sucks, they are gonna laugh at you. If you apologize and ask them whether they could possibly help you, they might decide to help out.
I had one refund me an a-merit after I bought a celerity other than the stealth proc with it! 
Even if you ask nicely, it might not be possible anyway. There are some character aspects that the GM's can not adjust. I don't know if that is one of them.

Man, I could swear I saw a thread about this exact issue a while back, and my (weak) recollection is that the player eventually DID get the item unmade or reversed. I just rooted around searching for it, but I'm not even sure what search terms to use. Anybody else remember that?
Aha, here it is -- not quite the same thing, the player wanted the crafted Incarnate power deleted.
