It should be noted that the Flight power has to already be on for the above to work. It will not turn on Flight for you.

How about...
/macro Fly "$$powexec_name Fly$$em flightpose2"
Won't work, because the fly pose resets every time you stop. The "w" bind given earlier would be spot on, since it will activate the pose whenever you hit the w key, but since flyposes only work when flying, it'll just move you forward when you're on the ground.

Ah. Well then, yes, the W bind does indeed sound better.
I tried the W bind way back when Flyposes came out but found I didn't like being locked into one. I generally have 2 or 3 I 'approve' of for individual toons and like to switch them up from time to time.
To that end I just make a quick Macro.
/Macro Fly, e flypose1$$ e flypose2$$ e flypose4
This way I just start flying and then click the macro each time I want to switch poses.
Still, if you find you only prefer one then the W bind would be the easiest solution.

Yeah I'm in the same situation with the Flyposes - I don't usually like to be locked into just one.
I use a keybind like MaestroMavius' to accomplish that. I tried cramming the emote together with the Fly and/or Forward key (like Aggelakis and Stone Daemon suggested) but I noticed that sometimes with server lag the combo wouldn't work cleanly. That's why I started using a separate flypose bind key. This allows me the freedom to use any pose I want or even not use them at all if desired.

I use flight on a lot of my characters and I hate the default flight pose. I want flypose2 to be my default but I don't know how to do this. I have no idea about keybinds or that kind of stuff. Is there someone who can give me a quick command line or something to use to do this so that flypose2 becomes my default?
Thanks
