It doesn't work that way. Once you get access to a costume part, the technology doesn't exist to take it back. You can drop to Premium and still make new costumes using the Celestial Armor if you bought it while VIP.
-
It works perfectly. Your combat abilities window monitors your global bonuses and external buffs - *NOT* the regular effects of your enhancements. The Alpha slot works like an additional enhancement on each power. Therefore, the effect is displayed on your enhancement screen.

Well, for the most part, we don't give a rats ### what the WST is. Unless it happens to be a TF that we were going to be doing about that time anyway. We absolutely do not just do the WST each week.
On a side note, I usually *DO* run the WST every Friday night around 8:30 EST. -
Perhaps a votive candle? An exotic mixed drink with an umbrella in it?

Oh, settle down. I botched the ritual and found the debuff to be absolutely TRIVIAL. So many people are complaining that it 'gimped' them. sheesh!

He doesn't give you the mission and it has nothing to do with the Snaptooth mission. You need to do the first arc (two missions) from Ganymede or Scratch (depending on your alignment). After that, the contact will suggest you talk to DJ Zero. He'll give you some silly dialog, you agree to help out, and you're 'attuned' (i.e. able to receive Valentine tips).

I've looked on the Paragon wiki and it seems you need to craft those. for this I first need a Basic Worktable? I do I understand correctly that you don't need the 75k raid telepad?
Correct on the worktable. As for the Raid Teleporter, that is only used for raiding or the Cathedral of Pain Trial (which is WAY in your future, if at all).
I've looked at the wiki and I understand that soon there will be better teleporters available in the next release? Should I try and wait for those? Should I first upgrade to a 2x2 transporter room? Is the 2x1 room only limited to one destination, as it can only hold one beacon?
um..... How impatient are you? I would wait. The current teleporters can hold two beacons. The new ones will be able to hold SIX beacons but only cost 50% more than the current models. This will give you time to upgrade to a full teleport room and maybe more power and control.
Does the telepad itself also allow for some destinations?
No. The telepad does nothing without beacons.
What happens if I make a Basic Telepad, and then delete the room to upgrade it to a bigger one? Is the Prestige lost? Is the salvage lost?
You can drag it into a new room. Before deleting the old room, create a larger room, then drag the telepad into the new room. This means you have to have enough prestige to have both rooms simultaneously.
Am I correct to think that with the basic combo power and control unit, I should be able to power 2 telepads? This would be 4 destinations/beacons with the current game, and up to 12 with the next game patch?
Can't recall the power and control offhand. Are you taking into account that each beacon requires 5 control points, in addition to what the telepad needs?
Am I correct that for a Villain base, there are only a few destinations for teleports, so I don't need a lot of teleporters, esp. after the release of the better Hacked versions? I only need enough for 9 destinations?
Yes, villains have way less destinations - Mercy, Oakes, Cap, Sharks, St.Mart, Nerva, Grandville, RWZ, Pocket D - looks like 9.
and supposedly there are going to be new ones available soon. (how soon, any ideas?)
Current speculation seems to be leaning toward mid March at the earliest. It's a safe bet it will NOT happen during the Spring Fling event, which runs through the end of February.
We had first made a medbay, but found it rather useless as it doesn't restore you to full health and there is no nurse.
It has its uses. Some zones have no hospital so using your base is much faster to get back to the action.
What server are you on? If you're on Infinity, I can help you with prestige. I need to power-level a 'junk' character for something and I can put him in your VG so the prestige earning potential doesn't go to waste. -
I imagine this change took place when the forum was down for maintenance yesterday.
I find it harder to read also. -

Quote:How remarkably convenient! And I can guess as what reason she has for lying and why others are supporting her, but then I'm not allowed to say why because of certain reasons I can't mention.
Surely you grasp that saying something like that makes you seem quite the fool to anyone not in this theoretical group of 'in the know' people.
You might as well be saying, "I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you." -
Quote:Need a lot more info to figure out what the problem is. Invuln is pretty damn good 'right out of the box'. Of course, it's possible to horribly gimp any powerset if you skip key powers or slot things badly enough.I recommended inv armor for my f2p friend's tank. He seems to be dying a lot. I feel that I may have made a mistake with my suggestion.
so far, I told him to get tough and weave. If anyone has other advice to improve survival, please let me know.
I've seen invulns level 40+ get slaughtered because:
- One offered to herd high level enemies but had skipped Temporary Invulnerability, which gives most of your damage resistance.
- Another was getting held and killed by Carnies because they skipped their mez protection.
On a side note, when their mistakes were pointed out, the first tank threw a hissy fit and quit the team. The second one thanked me for the information and said they had misunderstood the power description and would take it immediately. -
Well, apparently there is. My Arachnos Soldier, who is a villain and always has been, got in at level 23. I was on a team with someone who was high enough level to get the mission and got the Midnight Club badge when we completed the arc. I guess it's a bug.

1) Do a significant number of people want to include the Dr Quaterfield TF?
I was thinking it's a bit long to do as part of our regular event, but a number of people seem to want to include it. Post your opinion on the matter.
Well, a lot of people want to include this TF at the regular time, so we will. However, since it will consume a larger-than-normal chunk of the weekend, we'll be running it on the 3-day weekend coming up. i.e. On Saturday Feb 18, the weekend of Presidents Day.
2) How many non-VIP players do we usually have?
After Signature Story Arc #6 is released, I was thinking about running parts 1-3 one week and 4-6 the following week. Of course, this content is only available to VIP players (or non-VIP's who have purchased the content - which I can't imagine being very many people).
And this idea was not as well-received, so not gonna do this.
However, I'm thinking about running a single Signature Story Arc on any Saturday that we finish the task force early. -
Okay, posting late this week since I wanted to wait to see what the Weekly Strike Targets are for the month and was also watching the feedback in the question thread I posted. Now that we're getting into the 40-50 range, there are just a ton of task forces available.

What is the minimum level at which a villain can get into the Midnighter Club?
ParagonWiki says you can't get the mission until level 30, but is there some way around that? -
Quote:No. We (several people) already said that the computer mentioned is not a good choice.Or would any of you people like to stop now, and explain to the OP why they should spend over $2,500.00 for a very nice high quality best for the money purchase from Dell. Let me guess. No.
And we STILL disagree with your sweeping condemnation of Dell.
