UG and MoM weekly trials -- Fri? or Sun after MSR?
Well, I have a defender with tier 4 Clarion and Ironblade also has it specifically for the UG Trial. Sunday after the raid would probably run too late for me.

If I may, I will make a few suggestions.
I have one 50 here on Infinity, a twin to my main on Liberty.
There, I've led countless UGTs, MoUGT and regular runs. All of them after our MSRs which are at 9:30pm Eastern. It's a great time slot, you should have no problems filling your league. Just make sure team leads don't do any inviting, lest you find yourself overbooked.
If you're going to do it after the MSR, I recommend you form up in Pocket D. (Or First Ward or Midnighter's club) Otherwise, people that weren't at the MSR will have a hard time getting in the right instance of RWZ.
It's a really fun trial - but be prepared for a lot of people not really understanding what to do - and sometimes more importantly, what not to do. Because of it's length, a lot of people don't do this trial, so are inexperienced when they finally do run it.
Good luck!

Strangely enough I have been thinking about running a Trial Night, with rotating trials, on Friday Nights. I am trying to get mod status on a channel first, so I can post info in game, but I was thinking about doing it Fridays at around 9 EST. I don't want to step all over your thread, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
Ellscry, I would love to join your trials on Friday nights, and if we get a UG in there once every few weeks, that's good for me. I would be happy to just participate, and a lot of folks on Infinity don't know me well, so I'm not the ideal leader for this. I'm more of an instigator ...
IB, if the Friday night time is too late also, we could try a UG some Sunday at 6 so we're done before the MSR, or some Saturday at 6 or 7.
Ukase Rex, thanks for posting! I started this thread because of your Liberty server runs. Recently created a pair of toons on Liberty to play with a friend and saw that you guys have a full social calendar, with twice-weekly MoUGT runs. And your quote sums up my life so well. Thanks!

For what it's worth, Belle's Taxibot events are Friday nights. If you guys go with that time slot, she won't be able to make any of them, and since we use the same machine to play, I won't either. Not saying don't make it that time, just wanted to put that out there in case it's a factor.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

I am thinking that what's most important is that the leader pick a time when it's convenient for him. I would choose either an hour before the MSR or an hour after, because that's when your population is probably at its highest. (Personally, I'd like it to be before, that way I could do the UGT here, then switch off for the ugt on my other server. )
That's not to say that the UGT can always be done in less than an hour. Your first few runs will take a bit longer because of all the information that needs to be presented, questions asked and answered. Once most players know what's to be expected, about 55 minutes, an hour is all it should take. League size will impact spawn size, so that can also be a factor, as well as the number of level shifted players. I urge you to read about the purple patch if you are not familiar with it.

Not everyone has to be level shifted. But because it's a trial, many challenges in the trial are timed. The longer it takes to beat down an AV, the longer the success of the trial is at risk. Mind you, the player behind the keyboard is a larger factor than the toon's level shift. An unshifted 50 that can follow directions in league chat is far better than a +3 novice who plays with the chat screen down, relying on friends on Vent or Skype to give direction.
Mind you, the process of forming the league will take some time because of all the switching and zoning that normally takes place.
Whoever's leading, pick a time. Be sure to check your server calendar so you're not conflicting with anyone else's events, etc.

Have been thinking we could do a regular MoM/UG run on Infinity server -- maybe Fridays at 10 EST or Sundays after the first mothership raid ends. Which time works better?
A little story about the UG: when my 1st and favorite toon, My Wife's Character, turned 50 and unslotted her alpha, she headed over to RWZ to join whatever trials were going on. Her first trial was a UG and it was a smooth success. The next day she joined another successful UG league and had a great time. Based on that experience, she slotted Clarion as soon as her Destiny was unlocked. Ironically, she has NEVER done a UG since slotting Clarion, although she has done enough trials to slot several extra 4th tier incarnate powers . To help out my toon, I went over to another server which shall not be named and learned to lead these incarnate trials using my alt Nurse Sparky.
Let it rain Clarion!
