Weird. I've been doing that mission every few days, and as recently as last night, and it has worked perfectly every time.
Maybe the computers are spawning out of order? The text refers to the primary, secondary and tertiary terminals. Does the text appear to be going in the correct sequence? (i.e. If you run it again - I don't imagine you memorized the text as it occurred.) -

Probably tomorrow night, but I could one tonight on a different toon. Anyway, it's not hard to find people for it since it's short and doesn't require a big crowd to start it.
1) Join a channel like:
AE Anonymous
Inf Badge Seeker
Infinity Hamidon
2) Ask a channel op to unsilence you. (I can do that on Infinity Hamidon - my globals are Ironblade One and Ironblade Too).
3) Ask if anyone wants to do the blue respec trial.
4) Profit. -

Quote:Tank tank tank!2) And yet another alt... I was wanting to finally try out Electric Armor. I just haven't decided yet if it'd be best to try it first on a Brute, Scrapper, or Tank. How is the tank version of ElecA? Does ElecA lend itself better to tanking, or toward scrapping, or.... bruting (gah, that's an awkward word)?
Seriously, I generally have not been pleased when using a set on something other than a tank. I tried a dark/dark scrapper and ended up ditching him and making a dark/dark tank. The only set I liked on a non-tank is fire armor. I figured it was so much about damage that it would be good for a damage-centric AT so I made a fire/fire brute and like him a lot.
I think electric armor is great on a tank. My elec/elec tank is 50. The best part, and a big surprise for me when it happened, was being able to stand there and laugh at two sappers trying to drain my END. Dying Carnies won't faze you either. -
And so the ebil sploitzer gets his comeuppance.
Just kidding.
That's pretty lame. -

Quote:This. Unless you have a box fan pointed at it while the side panel is off, the computer should run cooler with the side panel on. If not, something is wrong: fans running too slow, not enough fans, fans not balanced (i.e. all pulling in or all blowing out), filters clogged, etc.If you are getting a lower temperature with the side of the case open, then you might have an airflow problem in your case. It sounds to me like something is obstructing your airflow. Either you have poor cable management, or you do not have enough fans doing what they are supposed to be doing. Proper airflow in a case should almost always run cooler than having the side open.

Bah! I only quote original material. The Underpants Gnomes originated on South Park and it was so brilliant that the concept is used in discussions of business and economics.

Quote:Bid creeping for the wealthy: going up by a factor of 10.I run through the list, bidding 1234 on all the commons. I probably get some. I leave those bids up while I bid on the others, because sometimes more fill. At the end of the process, whatever's left, I bid-creep a digit at a time -- 12,345 and then 123,456.

Yeah, they're not blinding you, they just have an uber stealth power. Even if you have them targeted and have started beating on them, when they go invisible you lose targeting.
-
Oh, it gets even better. My scrapper gone villain has the villain zones 'fogged' again every time he logs in. So, one day, I figured I'd use the Reveal vet power to clear the map at least temporarily.
Not only did the Reveal power NOT clear the fog of war, it RESTORED the fog on the areas I had cleared just minutes earlier. um... lolwut? -
Quote:The Underpants Gnomes. They have a new, and more complex, strategy.
Who Maintains the Forums?
1) Collect underwear.
2) Sabotage CoH forums.
3) ???

Also, the key mobs will always be a specific enemy type. Each safeguard mission has a different enemy type. The Paragonwiki page I linked to has that information in the chart.

Quote:Are you not listening? Petitions go to the GM's, NOT the Devs. These are two completely separate groups that work for different companies at different locations.I am simply throwing a suggestion out there, trying a new approach to get an answer.
Sending petitions as you suggest will accomplish nothing except to waste the GM's time that they could be using to help players with in-game problems. -
We MADE you overlook it.
<waves hand>
These are not the base items you're looking for.... -
It would be nice if it actually worked. I'm in-game and looking at it now and everyone in the zone shows as just 'on a team' - including my teammates and team leader. All of them are the same color. Oh well.

Ah, you ASSUME. The running of the script was announced on that occasion, AND we were given formal notice that they might run the script at any time in the future, as they saw fit, with no warning or announcement.

Quote:We think you've made a small error. The spawning of side missions is fixed - a specific number will spawn based on which safeguard mission it is. See the Safeguard Missions Page on ParagonWiki. The column in the chart named 'Active Side Missions' will tell you how many side missions are present on that map. It is random WHICH side missions will be there, but there will always be that many.I also tried soloing the bank robbery but no side missions spawned. So, heroes are left with the options of: 1) depriving fellow teammates of badge credit in order to be the final one to click; or 2) play a ridiculous amount of bank missions (in themselves a time investment to get) so that all players have an equal chance to earn badge credit. Just wondering what everyone thinks...

Wow, I didn't even look at the actual numbers before. Yeah, they're way off. If you have 4 procs each with a 20% chance to fire, the chance of one or more firing is 74.4%. Please note, I'm not saying that's the chance of EXACTLY one firing. It's the chance of ONE OR MORE.
I'm too lazy to calculate the odds of each number firing.

Quote:Absolutely. I did list team survival as one of my two goals and my first post specifically mentioned "plus Taunt and some kind of AoE damage or debuff to help me hold aggro". I never said I'm actually AVOIDING taking attacks, just that it's not my top priority.2) attacks draw aggro and contribute damage to a team, both of which help you perform your function as a tank. There is certainly a point where you will be aiding your team more by having sufficient, well-slotted attacks than by incrementally increasing your defensive powers a tiny bit more.
And this is where it becomes a judgment call on "sufficient" defense.Quote:Bottom line for me is that since you don't have to sacrifice offense to have sufficient (and more) defense to handle any content in the game, you are doing your team no favors by doing so. -
Quote:Yes, it does! It proves you're all in on the conspiracy!the fact that all the people who've 'done the work' so to speak see things one way and the ones that haven't done anything (and refuse to do anything, other than keep insisting on their unsupported 'facts') see it another way....well, that kinda speaks for itself.
