Heroes Epic - Rebel Stealth broken?

Hi:

I was doing the oro thread a Heroes' Epic with my Fire/Kin Controller, and had some trouble taking Nighstar down, but it was not really too bad. But when I went to destroy the glowy, things turned really ugly.

I would be attacked by a group of Rebels, get hit, and they would go invisible. So far, ok, I get it.

But then I would smack them with a Fire Cage and Flashfire, when the Fire Cage struck, the fire from it would engulf them and stick to the mob, as it does with any other mob. But when the rebel got struck by it, it wiould simply turn its stealth and become invisible, fire and all!, obviously I could not continue attacking it, for it was not targetable. Is this correct or a bug?

I haven't run the new arc. That sounds more like they are blinding you than using a +stealth power.

They fade in and out, kinda like an Invisibility version of Carnie phasing. It's a real pain.

Last time I ran the arc, I ate the 2-3 yellows that were in my tray (on a toon that already had +perception), and STILL couldn't see them when they went invisible. I ended up getting fed up and eating enough purples to run through the mission and just ignored them.

You can't even stealth past them, either, since they all have targeting drone.

I believe Uberguy is correct.

Any time you are hit by a blind effect (Like Smoke, Flash Arrow, or Smoke Grenade apply) your perception drops to almost nothing.

I believe Tactics or Focused Accuracy (one of the two) will counteract it. Popping a whole bunch of yellows usually works too.

If you look in the upper right corner of the screen, you'll probably see "Blinded" in the same spot Held, Slept, and Stunned show up in red.

Odd. I've never seen stealth take an applied effect's visuals with it. That's why I postulated it was -perception rather than +stealth.
