It would be safe to say that EVERY SINGLE THING they say or do will generate a rant from SOMEONE. As I said above, it's a business. As long as their releases have a VALUE (and this is entirely subjective) to justify the price, people will buy them. If *YOU* don't perceive that value, don't buy it. Problem solved.

And no, the fact that they are releasing content with a price tag is not inherently a problem. Sure, it's a problem to YOU, but not me. And, apparently, not most of the playerbase.

No, they would do it because they feel it's the right thing to do. As I said previously, this has happened numerous times. People have come forward and VOLUNTEERED the information that they ended up with an unexpected windfall and trying to find the previous owner.

For Shards, the ITF is probably the best choice. You have to defeat a lot of dudes and that's what gets you Shards. And it's not tedious like Dr Q.

For finding teams, mostly yes.
Some SG's have regularly scheduled events. For the other times of the week, and SG's that don't have events, global channels are the way to go.

I would suggest posting in the forum section for your server and asking which are the most active channels. If you have a preference (task forces, low level teams, etc), say so.

No one disputes that the person is entitled to keep it. However, we OFTEN have threads with incidents like this and they are FREQUENTLY started by people looking to return the money they received due to someone else mistyping.

Re the second sentence: it happens all the time. It can be inattentiveness or it can be lag from the market server which is obviously something the player can do nothing about.
Re the first sentence: your attitude stinks.

You can get the Mayhem and Safeguard badges any time, even once you're 50. You just need to join someone else's mission.

No, it is *YOUR* big picture. If you're focused on the goal, and not the process, the game has a different feel to it. My goal is not to 'get to the end' or 'finish' a character. The whole point is the experience along the way.

And before you accuse me of "twisting" your words, like you did with someone else; "I just see everything as a stepping stone." Those *ARE* your words.

And definitely remember the correct name: ParagonWiki. If you go to Google and search "city of heroes wiki", the first few links are to wikia.com which is *BAD*. The site is NOT updated by this community, carries advertising for gold sellers and, worst of all, has been know to be infected with malware. It may be clean now, but a site screws up like that just ONCE and they're on my **** list forever.


If you're going to be sticking around, you'll want to buy the Going Rogue expansion. It adds A LOT. Notably:
- An entire new starting area, Praetorian Earth, in addition to Paragon City and the Rogue Isles.
- Incarnate content - a way to acquire new powers for your 50's.
- Alignment - the ability to switch sides, i.e. you can convert a Mastermind to a hero or a Blaster to a Villain. There are also 'in between' alignments (Rogue and Vigilante).

I would think the timer is intended as a penalty for dying and the descriptive text is just window-dressing. Because you're right, it sure as HELL does not help the players in any way, shape or form.
