Nope its just whirlwind and its more than once every 20 secs I think cause I get knocked away as soon as I go near.
And about not getting acrobatics, there are very few scrappers I cant handle in melee range. The ones I cant handle are the ones Im getting acrobatics for(Nightbringer is the only one that springs to mind). And since I cant fight and live close up without armour against good scrappers, I desided to delay acrobatics until after armour.
The build is generally made for all the PvP zones, sirens fx. is a place where I need a self heal else the ranged people will get me if Im AS's. A self heal is also very good for those long times your in there working to get the SO. You really need to use as little inspirations as posible and I find that I have to bring all BF's. Warburg is the first place where whirlwind is an absolut must, Its where toons start having enough Hp to survive the 2-4 attacks I can land really fast before they get out of range. So I need to deliver them much faster. Whirlwind really helps with the damage cause I can stick to a person with my melee attacks. -
Very simple lady, its the armour. The ice epic armour sucks, if it didnt Ice would be my choice. The epic hold is much better than freeze ray, the duration is better and I like having two holds. It was a choice between epics to get the armour. There are 3 pools I could choice from(ice sucks cause of the armour, at lvl 50 most things hit anyway).
Fire and elec are basicly the same for the two powers since both bonfire and static discharge suck for PvP. So that leaves the hold and the armour and elec has the best armour.
Force is quite good and would have been my choice if I had room for more powers which I dont cause I need knockback protection from acrobatics.
PFF is nowhere close to the defender version and people with lots of acc buffs and things like that can easily shot through it(Besides its against my playstyle to run, so why would I need a power that doesnt alow me to attack). That leaves repulsion field which is totally useless. So I would have taken PFF should I have gone with force. Their 4th power is awesome though and I can highly reccomend it. Since your allmost "unstopable" with it on.
But I wanted accrobatics more. The reason is that all pure melee PvPers have whirlwind, and its darn hard blapping some1 with whirlwind if you dont have knockback protection. -
Dont replace defiance, its my only anti stalker weapon. Do you realise just how hard I hit after an AS. If the stalker isnt fast he is lying face down wondering what happend with the go to hospital button up.

I kill everyting I can get my hands on. Simple as that. In all the PvP zones there is a reason to kill on sight. If they are doing missions I feel it is my duty to stop them. If they are going for the hotspots in sirens its my duty to stop them. If they are going for the missiles in Warburg it is my duty to stop them. And so on. -
The problem with fly is that the supression is seriously bad, you are halted to an allmost complete stop for 2 secs. Flying and shoting blasters are only anoying the damage is poor and they are lucky if they get kills. (well they can use defiance and snipe, but thats really the only tactic they have going for them). Jingle Jet is awesome cause it doesnt really drain endurance. And if you only rely on fly, there is so many powers with -fly, that you need something else. I like the combination of SJ to get you up and hover for staying there instead, atleast with 3 slots in hover you can move a little.
But perhaps its just me that cant get the hang of the switching part. But on a sniping blaster I would consider SJ and hover wastly superior. Drop from the sky and SJ away if they come close.
If only fly didnt suffer so much from its supression and endurance drain, then it would be awesome. -
It depends on level. Spines is bad in sirens and bloody bad, they need more attacks. DM can just about crawl away with a decent build in those zones. In warburg and later on spines FTW.

Fly is a stupid power in PvP, unless you use it to flee. It has NO combat purpose what so ever except for fleeing. It uses way too much endurance, your halted to an allmost complete stop if you as much as touch your powers. I tried really hard to make a hover / fly combination work on Imaginary. It just didnt work except for fleeing. If you want flying I highly suggest SJ or TP and hover instead. I know its two powerpools but its much more effective. -
Doesnt bother me since leveling isnt the fun Im looking for(its just something that happends).
Its playing the game I think is fun. -

Absolutly agree, I only run to safe zones for AFK, to get a cup of coffee or the likes. -

Yeah the guide involves Powernova mooning Hamidon, and alot of other details that would take too long to explain. Oh and the secret code involves all persons using sprint at all time, no other travelpower can be used at all, remember to minimise jumping. Then you will loose conection to map server and when you log back in hamidon will run away. The problem with this method is thats he runs so fast that he forgets to drop HO's, so we figured it wasnt worth the bother repeating. -

This is a bad mistake IMO, sirens is about getting bounty too and a villain or hero going afk next to a drone can ruin other peoples bounty. -

Not really energy secondary is by far the best. Devices is anoying but energy kills.

I dont run, maybe Im strange that way. But I do try to stay alive long enough to get a kill before I die.

This is something that we'd like to add for PvE and PvP - something along the lines that if a player is at 100% health, a single attack can only bring him down to 10% - or something along those lines.

Sound nice, I have about 10% health left on my blaster in Sirens Call when I get hit with build up and AS. That gives me enough room to react, if Im slow I die If Im fast "defiance" gets the stalker. A defender will have time to use heal or something like that if they are really fast but they will loose if they are slow.
I dont think its a good idea for PvE though, stalkers are in my humble opinion a bit underpowered in PvE. They really need to carry that hard punch. They will turn too much into scrappers with no defences if they dont have it.

I didnt say you couldnt, and I would have pointed it out if it was different. I just wanted to correct the base value(it seemed to low for me) and give my two inf. on empaths in I6.

I did some random testing with the help of different empaths, and the base value of healing aura is 13%.
I like Nightbringer feel that empaths got of lightly with ED. The problem with empathy is like most other builds is the lack of perma hasten compared to I5. If we dont include that nerf you were hardly affected by ED.
The biggest problem I feel that empaths have is that the damage is nerfed because you cant 5 slot it. So damage went from very low to nothing. And there by you lost all real soloing ability. You can still do it but it takes a hell of a long time.
But overall I feel that the empathy set was buffed teamwise cause you are now a great addition to a team instead of barely being worth your xp. -

Thats a NO. Unless its something really new. Pets dont turn on you when you are confused. They only turn on you when they are confused. Since you cant confuse PA....
And Im pretty sure you cant target spectral terror. Since you cant target it, you cant confuse it.

Actually, NB, she's right. Laustin confused me in Warburg the other night and my pet was attacking me. Confusing the owner confuses all the pets as well.
I'm sure that PA are immune to confuse no matter what, though.

Are you sure your pet wasnt confused?, I normally just use PA and they have never turned on me. Even when I fought a mind troller in the arena and he confused me all the time. It was in I5 though so I dont know if it has changed.
Edit: your right it works on troller pets if you confuse the troller, prolly also MMs, havnt tested it with PA yet. -
This bug your talking about is no different from any other interuptable power, when you click it you use end, even if its interupted. I have drained my self silly using heal self on my blaster

Its all very nice tactics, but they all take too long. For normal PvE its easier just to charge in and hold everything instead.

I dont think I have ever fled a PvP zone, if im a bit over my head I usually just call the SG for support.
