All I can suggest is you global ignore the player in question. Regarding SG, if you're not leader and you don't want to leave, it might be a bit awkward on SG teamups, haha.

Sometimes, it's good to take a break for a while. Maybe come back after Christmas and see if it's any better for you.
  2. Here's my build I'm planning on (only level 22 at the moment). Softcapped to Smash, Lethal, and Energy. I have no idea how the endurance will be, or if there will be any issues at all. No HO enhancements, purple or PvP recipes here, although you could swap out some if you wanted.

Leviathan Mastery and Mace Mastery are Patron Power Pools, the villain version of Ancillary Power Pools (new Power Pools selectable at level 41). Villain side ones require you to talk to Arbiter Rein (just outside the main building in Grandville), who will tell you to look at the four statues inside. After doing so, talk to him again and he'll introduce you to one of the four Patrons of Lord Recluse (Ghost Widow, Scirocco, Black Scorpion and Captain Mako). Complete their first storyarc, and it will unlock all four Patron Power Pools for you to use (previously, you would be locked to the Patron you chose, but not anymore), along with a free "Patron Respec" (which stacks with earned respecs from Respec Trials).

Since most players who care enough to notice would take CJ to counter immob effects, burn had no place.

Ignite is designed to be a power that is used in conjunction with an immob of some kind or used to "block" areas. Not that that works, seeing as how enemy AI is completely unpredictable. I like Ignite... but it really sucks when you think about it too much.
Take it for killing bosses I guess (stack it with an immobilize if possible), or for team play when someone has AoE holds/immobilize.

*EDIT: Mids is showing AirSup with a cast time of 3.3 seconds; is that right? I seem to remember it being somewhere on the order of 1.5ish.
My SS/SR doesn't have Jab, since Boxing is virtually the same thing. Brutes don't have access to Bruising like Tankers do for tier 1 attacks, so it's not as important.

For my build, my SS/SR uses Punch (Touch of Death), Haymaker (Touch of Death), Gloom (Thunderstrike) for general attacks. Boxing (Mako's Bite) is the filler attack and is generally on auto, which I don't really worry about. Knockout Blow has Crushing Impact, while Air Superiority has two parts Crushing Impact and is generally used for anti-air or for knockup whenever it's required or if for some reason no other attack is available.

I'm not really sure if Super Strength has enough DPS to take down AVs due to being smash (which virtually all AVs are resistant to), as well as the 10 second downtime despite Rage's perma damage boost. Maybe someone else can answer you on that. :3

It might be a good idea for you to join your server badgehunting channels (I have no idea what they are, since I'm on Union, an EU server), and try looking for people there. :3

Remember that i19 is brand new; people will obviously want to play the heck out of it before burning out on LGTFs and ITFs, haha.

    Concept Question

Regarding Cole clones, I believe you're looking for The Olympian.

Only difference is that it was Neuron who made them, and stuck the brain of Simon Omega in his final product, but with a little manipulation from the player and Anti-Matter, the clone went on a riot and Emperor Cole wasn't too happy about that.

You might want to read up on Neuron's storyarcs about that. Judging by dialogue, Anti-Matter never thought once that it was a good idea to clone Emperor Cole, if you're going by canon storyline to weave into your bio. Maybe just change it to Neuron instead.

If you want to try Going Rogue, roll a villain-side alt in Praetoria, and at level 20 have them begin their career in Primal Earth blue-side. Don't forget side-switching!
  10. Flying with Combat Jumping on does take a slight bit of getting used to though, due to the sudden improved air control.

  12. I fitted Flash back into my build, took the other invisible power to pop a LotG into, Combat Jumping to pop in a LotG, and took out Air Superiority (previously five slotted with Crushing Impact, which I moved into Flash along with another slot, will have four Basilisk and two from Lockdown) for Recall Friend (will put in a level 10 Zephyr knockback when I have time).
  13. Well, you probably have a freespec saved. Use that, take 10 IOs out, keep build as it is.

When i19 comes, use the freespec, take another 10 IOs out, keep build similar to what it was before.

When the second freespec is given a week later, take another 10 IOs out, this time, change build to how you want it.

If you needed to take out more than 30 IOs out of a character, then make sure you took out 30 of the most expensive ones, and use A-merits to make some money to rebuy the cheaper IOs.

If you don't mind real cost, buy respec recipe to pull out another 10 IOs, or use Veteran respec to pull out another 10.
  14. Not only would I love Phantom Army to use the doppelganger tech, I also want Phantasm to use it.

My only stipulation is that you wouldn't be able to alter the 'ghostly' appearance and aura. No exact duplicates, hehe.

I would like it as "alternate", however, in case people still want to keep the original appearance of the decoys.

It would be a shame if it was just another patch for AE farms . . . Although, I would enjoy a global salvage storage for each paid account of somewhere between 300 to 1,000 capacity, I feel certain the devs won't do that for us, even though it would allow us to spend more time playing the game, and less time jumping from character to character to see which one has the salvage we need. Recently, some common invention salvage on the Black Market and Wentworth's has been going for over 1 million each. If people could store more salvage, perhaps by having the already existing Vault locations as a global salvage storage interface, that would help considerably.
Simple solution is the salvage shelves in superbases to be increased from 30 to 100 or something.

Of course, someone's gonna respond with "be thankful we even have salvage shelves"
  16. It's gonna be hilarious when patch note is something short like "corrected spelling of certain IOs".

    Inv/SS i19 build

I decided not to go with Focused Accuracy in the end. After seeing Taunt sets (as well as the Brute forum, haha), however, I thought about possibly removing one set of Kinetic Combat out of the planned build. With this, I've managed to push everything except Psi up to 45.1% def with one enemy in range (the four Luck of the Gambler 7.5%s will be at level 30 to allow me to stack Rage at lower level TFs/SFs, providing I don't go below level 27).

Pulled the slots from Kick, and one from Knockout Blow, and one from Jab. However, to make up for Knockout Blow with 'only' five slots, I'll be using two purples from Hecatome. I think I have them stored away somewhere for a rainy day, and if not, then I'll use Crushing Impacts.

Well, when we look at the Widows, any with psi potential either get moved into the Fortunata branch, or if they overspecialise in martial skill, get promoted into the Night Widow branch.

It would stand to reason something similar happens with the Soldiers - any Wolfspiders with psi potential or martial skill get moved into the Bane Spiders (with those displaying weaponry skills moved into Crab Spiders), although game lore also states that children with psi potential are brought into Arachnos and raised into soldiers.

They're both great. :3 Brute wins out on HP, and Fire Melee benefits them slightly more due to Fury (I think?), while Shield benefits Scrappers more due to Shield Charge (so I heard).

    New Archtype

One way of having a Rikti AT without conflicting storylines (maybe) is to simply lock them out of doing those storyarcs in normal gaming. They would be able to access it via Ouroboros for the badges, but in normal game progression, they would never be able to do those arcs. Biggest examples would probably be Steven Sheridan and Timothy Raymond. Steven because he actually introduces you to some Rikti secrets which your character already knows, and Timothy because he'd never willingly work with any Rikti he was aware of.

Costumes... I can see a lot of people being unhappy if their wardrobe becomes extremely limited because they don't get to wear other gear than Rikti armour, haha.

    Inv/SS i19 build

Hrm. Taking into light about Fire/Cold and the Gladiator, I've removed it, and shuffled a few slots to keep Smash/Lethal and Energy/Negative still at softcap, and Fire/Cold at 42%. I lose a little bit of global recharge, but the Alpha slot will definitely be the Spiritual one now, hehe.

I do have a Gladiator saved up, but I will probably let my Fire/Shield Scrapper or SS/SR Brute use it to free up slots to allow them to take an AoE attack. :3

Oh, and I changed Boxing into Kick since I threw some slots into it. Since I have Punch to add into my chain now, Kick can be for amusement rather than off the power tray.

I plan to have Foot Stomp slotted with Eradication Acc/Dam/End/Rech, Acc/Dam/Rech, Dam/Rech and Scirocco Dam/End, Acc/Dam/End, with the final slot being the Force Feedback. :3

Using highest level IOs, this gives me:

    Dam: 95.31%

    Inv/SS i19 build

Here's my standard stereotype Superman build for i19. :3 This build uses the 60 month vet badge allowing me to take Fly on its own.

Reserved slots for Health and Stamina have been placed into Sprint and Rest as always. Build makes use of a Gladiator's Armor which although expensive, is affordable if you're willing to put in the time to get it via Alignment Merits (yay). Softcapped to all but Psionic with just one enemy in range, although 42% to all but Psi with one enemy in range without the Gladiator is still nice (softcap to all with three enemies in range).

IO sets... this build only uses two sets of Reactive Armor and Kinetic Combat. I've started experimenting with sets which I haven't used before such as Pounding Slugfest and Eradication with surprising results... will have to remember these for the other typed defense alts I have, hehe.

For the Alpha slot, I will probably take Spiritual, unless the planned build uses more end than I thought (though it uses Physical Perfection as well, so I hope not; due to Stamina slots being in Rest, along with Numina Regen/Recovery and Miracle Recovery slots in Sprint, I can't check figures properly yet), then in which case, I will probably test with Cardiac (which has Resistance boost as well, so that might be a future option).

Still not completely sure on Conserve Energy either... might take Focused Accuracy with single slot End IO for those moments if Rectified Reticle: Increased Perception isn't enough (although I can't think of any really other than Widows using Smoke Grenade, Tarantulas using Mental Scramble, enemies using Hide/Stealth, and even then, is the IO enough on its own?)

Don't be afraid if a primary set gets duplicated by you and your two friends. :3 Three Fire/Shields make me drool.

Stone is also mainly single target damage, but the damage outfit is pretty high. Fault and Tremor can do knockdown to help with foes who are doing too much damage, while taking both mallets and Seismic Smash will do a ton of damage. My only concern with that set is the long recharge times, which can be shortened with Hasten, and if it still uses a lot of endurance... never tested Stone with Shield before, haha.
