SS/SR Attack Chain
keep fury up and spam ko blow?

My SS/SR doesn't have Jab, since Boxing is virtually the same thing. Brutes don't have access to Bruising like Tankers do for tier 1 attacks, so it's not as important.
Does anyone know what the "optimal" ST attack chain is for SS, and also, what the recharge requirements per power are, and whether or not it does enough DPS to solo an AV?
I would love it if I could get away with skipping Jab and slotting Boxing (or Air Sup*) with procs, and just use Boxing/AS, Punch, Haymaker, and KoB, but I'm totally unsure of how well that would work in practice. *EDIT: Mids is showing AirSup with a cast time of 3.3 seconds; is that right? I seem to remember it being somewhere on the order of 1.5ish. |
For my build, my SS/SR uses Punch (Touch of Death), Haymaker (Touch of Death), Gloom (Thunderstrike) for general attacks. Boxing (Mako's Bite) is the filler attack and is generally on auto, which I don't really worry about. Knockout Blow has Crushing Impact, while Air Superiority has two parts Crushing Impact and is generally used for anti-air or for knockup whenever it's required or if for some reason no other attack is available.
I'm not really sure if Super Strength has enough DPS to take down AVs due to being smash (which virtually all AVs are resistant to), as well as the 10 second downtime despite Rage's perma damage boost. Maybe someone else can answer you on that. :3
