  1. If you run out of end, isn't that hindering your gameplay?

    The forms don't have a set recovery as they can be slotted for endmod. There are also plenty of IO sets that fit in form powers (especially dwarf) that provide recovery bonuses.
  2. Kheldian forms take endmod enhancements, so you can improve your recovery. Personally, I don't slot for it and even so I can't recall the last time my WS Nova ran out of endurance while going all out blasting (and that includes using Hasten). My dwarf is a little worse, but I haven't sorted out my slotting on dwarf attacks yet.

    So no, I don't feel that not getting stamina/health boosts in forms is hindering my gameplay.

    That looks about right. Just enter bindloadfile c:\binds\1a.txt to start the cycle (should only need to do this once the very first time) and you're good to go

    Just be sure you don't use these keys for emergency clarity application mid-combat or you'll be annoyed when you instead buff the character you're trying to break free with a shield
  4. If you did the Kings Row safeguard at lvl 5, then you were out of range for the reward, as that is the 10-15 safeguard mission.

    Perhaps you meant to say you did the Atlas safeguard mission from the Kings Row detective?

    And as for them contacting you ingame, there's no information to be gained from that as I see it in this case, so there's really no point of doing it when email conversation is much more effective for them.

I don't have any post indicator for number of new posts on the Union Villains forum, ie there is no number in parenthesis to the right of the number of replies indiciating the number of new replies since my last visit. It's been this way for a while, can't say exactly how long but more than a couple of weeks. Have only seen it affect that particular subforum, all others display just fine (haven't checked the french/german forums)
  6. Sounds like a good idea. In the meantime there's always the global channels (Defiant Events and to some extent DefiantBadgers for Defiant, don't know what the other servers have). There's usually several TFs getting organized through these channels each night.

    Er, no. Frozen Armor adds Smashing/Lethal Defense (and some cold resistance), so you'll get plenty of extra survivability from that pool.
  8. FYI, slotting (4 or more) of any SO/30+ IO enhancment is over the ED softcap, so you'll have severely reduced improvement from the fourth enhancement. So you might want to look over your slotting for better performance

    I can agree that I-12 was low on content and thart was no surprise, the devs stated that several times before its launch. I-12 was more of a gameplay improvement issue, new powersets (VEATs and power proliferation), improved usability (chat enhancements, contact list improvements, real numbers etc) and they still got the (imo) best TF yet in the issue.

    We had this for the first (5?) issues. Basically, "everyone" slotted their attacks 1ACC/5DMG, using 6-slotted Stamina for end and 6-slotted Hasten for recharge. The devs introduced Enhancement Diversification (ED) which gave the now present diminishing returns on "overslotting" the same enhancements. It also meant they could introduce the Invention enhancements, which would have been overpowered without ED.

    I really like the current way of travelling in the Shadow Shards. It's different and forces you to think a little. Once you get used to it it really isn't that hard to do, you can still get around anywhere with SS/SJ, often faster than players with Fly. As for new mobs, sure, why not? I don't think it really needs it, at least not until it's revamped, but can't hurt if they can fit the Shadow Shard theme.

    Any suggestions for travel powers? The ones I usually see are vehicles and swinging (spidermans webs/batmans grapplehooks) and they are really difficult to get in the game. And level 14 isn't really that hard to reach, it's a reasonable level to get travel powers imo. There's always the Safeguard/Mayhem temp travel powers at lvl 5/10 if you really can't wait to lvl 14, and those will easily last you long enough to get a real travel power

    As others have mentioned, there is the raid after a LGTF finishes. What I'd like to see is a raid starting, say 20-30 minutes after U'kon Grai is killed as well (the AV/GM/whatever he is in the mothership raid)

    There's one badge for finishing the trial, and another badge for choosing the respec option. Perhaps you mixed them up?

    Actually, according to the ingame numbers, slotting +fear duration does not increase the duration of the -tohit. Which I suppose is logical if you think about it, the enhancements do state increase duration of fear, not the power in itself.

    Are you sure? As I recall, debuffs don't stack from the same power (from the same user). But slotting FS for recharge is a good idea anyways.
  14. Ah, good point, didn't think of AV's resists. I'll leave my -tohit set in DN and give Fluffy some -tohit as well. I'll think about slotting some in Fearsome as well, but my inner controller says to slot fear sets first.

    And yes, I do think of -tohit as +def, that's why I mentioned my +def powers as well
  15. Was looking at the slotting for my mid-30s D3 and started wondering if it's overkill to slot tohit debuff enhancements in my powers. Just using unslotted Darkest Night and Fearsome Stare would put mobs at -37.5% tohit. Add either of the cones from /Dark and they're at -45% or lower. Plus there's Fluffy with his debuffs, various single target attacks/debuffs and some defense from Shadow Fall and Maneuvers...

    So can I more or less ignore slotting for -tohit, or at least slot for other effects first, or am I missing something? (There are of course special cases, like DE emanators and Nemesis vengeance where extra -tohit is nice to have)

  17. It's really an impossible comparison to make. I suppose a WS could be somewhat likened to a Dark/Dark/Dark/Dark Blaster/Controller/Tank, depending on what powers you pick

    A PB might be a Nrg/Nrg/Nrg/Nrg Blaster/Tank/Scrapper with some Defendery powers thrown in there

    Why's that? Going from no cost to a recurring cost will affect any company, and given that spam accounts are likely to be closed within 30 minutes of the first tell they will need many accounts over a month. Depending on the size of the company (and I have really no idea how large these companies are) it might not be an insignificant cost

    Because it only goes into Confuse powers. You can see which IO sets each power accepts by holding the cursor over a power on the Enhancement screen.

  23. I've had great success soloing my Bot/Traps. Almost as strong defenses as /FF, with better debuffing. Rarely die, and then only vs EBs, but most of them go down without too much trouble. But really, any MM powerset combo can solo very well, I doubt any combo find EBs too much to handle (/poison and /traps combined with ranged henchmen probably has it easiest though)

    I think you misread, I said Transference, not Transfusion. A mind troller can be costly, especially while using Telekinesis. And of course being in melee depends on the situation, it isn't always preferable (but usually more exciting)
