Yes, exactly. Do note that if your league has room to add more before starting the trial (for example, if you gather 16 people and queue for BAF, which has a maximum of 24), it won't put you into the trial immediately, it waits 90 seconds or something to give other people in the queue a chance to join.

My two most-played 50s both have a travel t5 now, one has Spring Attack and the other Afterburner. I'm thoroughly pleased with both powers.
Given that many players have a long-standing opinion that travel powers aren't worth it in the first place, it shouldn't be surprising that some people think spending yet another power in a travel pool still isn't worthwhile. The real question is, are the people who dislike the t5s the same people who asked for them? -
Quote:Well, with the way Destiny powers work, it probably wouldn't give anywhere close to +160% damage for most of its duration. So it would fall far short of Rage. But what would happen if, hypothetically, we were given a Destiny power that offers a very potent +Damage buff?
Edit: And for the record, I would absolutely not trade a Footstomp nerf for a feeble cone on Haymaker. -
Quote:That's rather true, especially since one of the most commonly suggested 'fixes' for flight was to add a t3 'turbo flight' power with a higher cap. Which is pretty much what they did.I might just like Afterburner because of how hilarious hypocritical it makes this forum appear.
Personally, I use and love Afterburner, though. -
I think WP fits a werewolf very well: it has the healing factor, but it also has increased stamina (recovery), physical durability (resists), and improved senses (defense).
-
Interesting. I've had the window bug out and prompt me a second time before, but trying to actually take a second power didn't work (I had to do 'choose nothing' to make the window go away).
So it could be a similar bug, but it also might be that you really do have it now with the new rewards system. -
Scrappers get more benefit from /Shield's damage buff aura, and do more damage with Lightning Rod and Shield Charge. So that particular combo is generally better on a scrapper.
-
I question the value of Medicine and Physical Perfection on a /WP. You'd get much more out of Fighting IMO.
It's also probably not necessary to put the Achilles proc in all your attacks (especially the AoEs), since it doesn't stack. You'd be better off replacing some of them with damage procs. -
I was under the impression that the +recharge proc won't work in Spring Attack anyway, since it would give the recharge to the pseudopet?
-
Names are separate on each server, so it's very possible to transfer and find that someone already has the name you were using, in which case you must rename your character.
-
I've used the build-up proc in Invincibility, and it doesn't go off very often at all, so it definitely does not get a chance to proc for each enemy in range. I couldn't tell you the exact technical reason, but it doesn't.

This is the build I'm currently considering moving to:

Level 2: Hurdle -- Jump-I(A)
Level 2: Stamina -- P'Shift-EndMod(A), P'Shift-EndMod/Rchg(3), P'Shift-EndMod/Acc(3), P'Shift-End%(5)
It's NOT a leveling build though. -
The Performance Shifter proc, without accolades, averages out to .2 end/sec. An endmod SO in Stamina, without ED, is .14 end/sec. So it's not a big improvement over an SO, but if you already have 3 endmods in Stamina, the proc lets you get even more out of it.
However, if you care enough to do it, frankenslotting your attacks will improve your endurance efficiency much more than an extra slot in Stamina.
If you do tip missions and/or the SSA for A-merits, a level 20 Miracle unique is also a great investment. -
-
Not so at all. Conserver Power is very useful even without being perma. If you have good enough endurance to not run completely dry between when it expires and when it recharges, CP gives you functionally infinite endurance. You use it when you start to get low, then when it's up you recover to full, and by the time you need it again it's back.
Conserve Power has the benefit of zero prerequisites, although if you take Focused Accuracy anyway that doesn't matter. -
Not that I've ever played a Kinetics character to any meaningful level, but the thematic explanation I always favored was speedster-ish, like some of the more exotic things the Flash has done.
-
It appears that you're building for positional defense. Doing so rather wastes the typed defense bonuses you get from Heightened Senses.
Just so you know, you've included several very expensive items in your low-budget build, especially the Shield Wall +3% res (which runs well over a billion the last time I looked). The Luck of the Gambler +7.5's are also over 100 million each.
With Stamina and Quick Recovery, I rather doubt you'll find Energy Mastery necessary, but it may be the only epic pool that fits theme.
Here's an example of how I might do it. I kept your power selection the same and tried to stick in the same general area for budget, but the slotting overall is quite different:

Right, that's because you're looking at the average damage. The average damage displayed is incorrect, but if you mouse over it you'll get a breakdown of that damage into its component hits, which appears to be accurate. Although it doesn't seem to show Ball Lightning's crits.
-
I think you guys are looking at the wrong powers. Remember, typing [Power Name] into chat can give you the wrong version of the power if there's a power with the same name in more than one set. [Fire Ball] gives you a power from Fire Mastery, while scrappers use Blaze Mastery. Similarly, [Ball Lightning] shows you a power that has a taunt component, which suggests that it's the tank or brute version.
I don't have a scrapper with patron pools unlocked, so I can't get the stats for Ball Lightning, but in-game, the level 50 scrapper version of Fire Ball does:
12.51 smashing
43.79 fire
3 ticks of 80% chance for 6.26 fire
...which is exactly what Mids says in the more detailed damage display. The average damage is incorrect because it seems to be counting in an extra hit, like what a stalker would get critting from hide or something.
You can see this in the respec screen, or by typing [Blaze Mastery.Fire Ball].
Since Mids is right on Fire Ball, I'm going to guess that the detailed display is also right about Ball Lightning, namely that it does an initial tick of 18.77 and then 4 ticks of 11.26.
This means that, not counting crits, and before enhancements/buffs, Fire Ball does an average of 68.52 and Ball Lightning does 63.81. -
You need to finish a patron's first arc to unlock patron pools. You'll get a badge. They're not especially long arcs.
Villains do not get villain epics just for starting villain, by the way. They have to run the arc as well.
Edit: patrol -> patron -
If it's like the Ice Armor power it's based on, you can only get 10 stacks per cast, but with enough recharge you can get more than 10 stacks at a time when the durations overlap.
-
You're right on both points, but just so you know the workaround, you can look at pieces in the tailor before buying them.
-
Piercing Beam is not a single target sniper attack. Penetrating Ray is the sniper attack, and it does cause spread.
-
There is no visual representation of what?
