no, but I have thought that i'd deleted a new character because I was looking on the wrong server when I logged back on.
And yay - finally the forums have remembered me and let me sign on
I dont have this problem since i roll all my characters on Freedom. I've got 36 now, so still have a good ways to go before I hit the limit.

Not in character creation, but I've forgotten which server I'm currently running on with worrying frequency (leading me to advertise a team I'm forming on the wrong server's global channel more than once).
I've actually been playing for a good few hours and then have a friend ask me what i was doing on Infinity instead of Union to which i replied that i thought i was on Union .
@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!
No but I've bought a full tray of SO's and then realised that toon was a different origin.
I'm constantly getting to the end of the character creator and, right after it's too late, realizing that the origin I chose at the start of the process makes no sense with the character concept I wound up with by the time I had finished the costume. Given how silly origin is, I wish it was the last choice instead of the first.

I've done much worse.
I've responded to team calls on Virtue while I'm playing on Freedom. In one case holding up a group for 10 minutes while we tried to figure out why we couldn't see each other despite being in the same zone.
I've never had this problem. The problem I have is going into the creator with a concept in mind, finding the costume didn't work as I hoped so changing a piece, and next thing I know ending up having a Technology origin character with robotic looking armour. Even if I was planning on a magic guy with a sword.
I've never had this problem, but I generally only make characters on Virtue.
However, I *have* had the issue that Prodiguy mentions. And occasionally I've changed concept mid-creation and gotten into the game before realising I forgot to change my origin to match the new concept.
