I don't think it had much to do with Elec, but rather TW. The low lvl didn't help but, like you mentioned, you couldn't activate your heal/insp because of animation times.

You shouldn't have to have energy epic, but 4 PerformShifter's sounds fun even if its overkill.

I've got a Ice dom that I always wanted to put 5 proc's in Artic Air.
-If you've never tried a "kin-nuker" that's always fun (Def or Corr). Kin/Fire or Kin/Arch would be good. Kin/Arch doesn't have a big boom, but it's prolly the best. I'm currently lvl'ing a Kin/Ice..the "rain" power's seem like they'd be better suited for BAF/LAM's. The idea is to nuke every 90 sec's (capped damage of course).

Every Regen should be able to regen from death. (like a troll?)
So code Fast Healing to not "stop" upon death.
after a few second's you'll stand up with 1 health, and recover/regenerate like normal.
Revive would still be a safer rez, but it may need to be reworked if there was a regen rez.
I've deleted a few regen's, before and after WP came out. It just doesn't seem fun to me.
One thing I LOVED about WP and Regen was the fact you didn't have to take Fitness!!!
To be honest..Regeneration, as is, could almost be downgraded to a Power Pool.
WP stabbed Regen in the leg while Auto Fitness threw lemon juice in his eye's. -
I always slot Miracle and a Kismet early (@20) for leveling, but not necessarily at 50.
on a side note, RegenTissue:unique needs a buff. -
Archery/EM or Fire/EM would be my choice.
Archery/Ice or Fire/Ice could be fun also.
A well placed Ice Patch can keep mob's from closing.

Soul Storm works. You might consider Night Fall too. The cone in NF is tiny but still.
That's cool, you got 2 Tentacle power's...make's me think of Cthulhu -

A good early investment in low level toons is Kismet 6% Acc. Just slap it in CJ (what ever you have it in needs to be toggled or an auto power). btw the 6% is actually "Tohit" which is better than acc. You should be able to find one for 500k or less.
I miss playing a Energy blaster. I went along with the theory that "KB ruin's everything!", but really its not that big a deal. -

You might decide on a Alpha before min/maxing
Nerve looks good, you could stop at tier2 (Acc and Def buff)
The Sheild Walls (D/E and D/E/R) cost about the same as a LotG/7.5%. I tried to limit the usage of these. The build below has 4 of the D/E and 2 of the D/E/R (@700mil)
managed to get 5% run speed five times (along with the GotA's)

-I've heard before to treat Voltaic Sent as a mini build-up.. think its like a 20% dam buff from defiance? btw it does the same amount of damage as the tier 1 blast
-Tier 4 Musculature seems to fit elec blast well, if anyone wants to put that much time into it.. -
-If you wanted Hasten..you could drop Charged Brawl and swap CJ for Hover.
-since Static Sheild is a toggle..It'd be nice to have end reduction in it.
-LR and Swift are Auto powers so you don't want Micro's in them.

Hoarfrost will improve your survival (to increase to hp cap).
also with Maneuvers, Frozen Armor, and the force field from your bot, you'll be at the soft cap for smash/lethal defense.
Your bots should survive well with World of Pain (your almost perma on this power).
Bot's dying to Nemesis doesn't surprise me. It's not common for mobs to have AoE's like Nemesis. It's also not common to have ToHit buff's. Nemesis have both which makes um particularly deadly -
this might be a lil better.

seems like you'd definetly want Fireball before 50? Fireball is the first spell I think of when someone mention's D@D.
Dom's and Cont's can get it at 35.
Defender's can get it a lvl 4.
Corr's and Blaster's at lvl 2.
other's have it, but not till 50.
Blaster's don't get pets (unless you count Sparky) so that might rule out blasters.
Defenders and Corr's don't get pets except Dark Miasma so that narrows down Def and Corr's (unless you can wait till incarnates).
I bet Fire Breath would look good as a cone of cold (colored blue and white). Fire Breath "colors" very nicely

I've always thought they take a non-direct path to the target.
Power Push reminds me of this or some Dual Pistol attacks..altho all the DP attacks will sound like a gun..
Power Push has a great animation once colored, but its not a very useful power
