  1. Click here to skip cutscene. If everyone cliks it, the cutscene is skipped. No one crying about how they were not able to oggle over Mothers boobies or Nightstars robotoe.
  2. On my brute I have all tier 4s slotted and tend to get some uncommon, rare and sometimes very rare. I have recived more very rare than common. Now on my defender that is mainly for debuffing and buffing I have never got more than common. Hmmmm. Think I will run a few times on my brute and do nothing to see what happens.

    Edit, first run helping as little as possible on my ss/fire brute - common.
    Ok, did a few runs and only helped out enough to make sure no one escaped. Didn't want to be a total jerk. 6 times I got common drops. 1 time I got an uncommon.

    Granted this is far from enough data to draw a conclusion but it does get me wondering how the reward tables are set and keep on testing with other toons to see if I can duplicate these results.
  3. Lambda is not so bad if you have people that follow orders and a decent team set up. Sadly the stuipd factor kicks in and people dont leave room for temps in their tray and don't know they have them. Or they think they know better than the leader on when to use the grenades and 4 people toss them at once.
  4. Tall toon with /e assumethepositionwall (I think thats it) and a shorter toon using /e slap /e smack. Very juvinile but does seem to get attention as well.
  5. I could live with it leaving you with 10 end and 0 recovery for a bit and lock you so you can keep your toggles running if you pop a blue.

    I love nukes but I hate running out of endurance more.
  6. If people get emotional because they fail a trial, blame the people not the trial.
  7. Minions can drop them but you will get a better drop rate per kill with bosses.
  8. So there I am in the middle of a BAF trial. We are stopping all the prisoners from escaping and it shows I am confused. I use footstomp and manage to do a little damage to a friend of mine nearby. So, while still confused I try to hit him with KO Blow for fun (I am a villian afterall) and it shows invalid target.

    This needs to be fixed so I can properly smack my friend in the face.
  9. Dont bother with combos then and use whatever attacks work. You should have a couple good cone attacks, an aoe and a couple good single target attacks. Most melee I see either guard the doors or stick too one spot on the path. There should be plenty of ranged folks to help take out what gets past you.
  10. And another question. It says it applies the proc, damage, debuff, whatever to "most" attacks. Can someone define what they mean by most?
  11. Apparently the 4/1/2011 post about running out of Xp was not a joke and they keep having to bring the servers down while they make more.
  12. Can also be done on a rad sonic, but you do have to pay attention a bit more than on other pet sets and requires a bit of luck.
  13. Is it possible? Yes. Will it change? 100% chance of no. The WTF has already been posted and will not change. I only say it will not change for sure because I want the devs to prove me wrong as I hate the Sister TF.
  14. Not just aoe nukes but nukes that can hit 24,32 or up to 40 targets.
  15. Maybe the devs thing that if you need a temp power, other than the ones provided just for that task, you don't deserve to be an incarnate?

  17. Have the same thing happen a couple dozen more times and then I would start to suspect something.
  18. I would propose a point/ticket system. First vet reward you get 1 point and the cost is 1 point. Second you get 2 points and the cost is 2 points and so on. Maybe the vaues could be tweeked but you see where I am going. If you dont like a vet reward, you could skip it and save those points to get another vet reward a little earlier.
  19. Tempreature protection. Great spot for steadfast KB.
    That is about it for fire. Combat Jumping is a great mule for all sorts of goodies. LotG global recharge, BotZ and Karma. In just 2 powers and 2 extra slots (or 1 if you skip LotG) you have 12 points of KB protection.

    Conventional wisdom says that SS/Fire is the best. If you want to disprove that fact it would be up to you to provide proof. I farm with ss/fire/fire (concept for the name Helin Carnate) and Mu is a little bit faster. I still manage around 2.2-2.5 mil per min and take out ambush farms at 54x8 with bosses in around 4.5 min. I suppose if I bothered to make a macro to make reds and pop them it would be faster but Im ok without it.

    Blazing Aura should be one of the first powers you pick from Fire Armor. It helps burn down groups faster meaning fewer hits from your primary attacks that acutally do cause the most end drain.

    The downtime yesterday was due to what they call database management. In this case, they were going through old accounts that had not been used for 3+ years and deleting all the toons in an effort to keep the xp flowing.

    Now I forget if pets cap out at 400% damage or +400% damage. Here is the breakdown either way at damage cap for even level mobs.

    400% of 133.46 (LR)is 533.8
    500% of 133.46 (LR)is 667.3
    775% of 59.22 (FS) is 459

    Ultrawat is correct. The damage numbers you see when you monitor your damage bonus are +damage and does not include the base. Your previous calculations were making Footstomp seem to have less potential and Lightning rod to have more potential. Guessing this was out of ignorance and not an attempt to deceve others.

    Consider that with ultra levels of recharge you can hit footstomp about 3 times in the same time you can use LR once. Also consider that LR does not do the full damage to all mobs. Make an ambush farm with mobs that do no attacks and check your combat log and you will see.
