Being confused not working in BAF trial

I think the confuse wore off before you could press the KO Blow button. I have been affected by confuses outside of the BAF trial and I was able to directly attack teammates. The BAF trial confuse seems like a low magnitude, short duration confuse, but I haven't actually looked at the power info.

So there I am in the middle of a BAF trial. We are stopping all the prisoners from escaping and it shows I am confused. I use footstomp and manage to do a little damage to a friend of mine nearby. So, while still confused I try to hit him with KO Blow for fun (I am a villian afterall) and it shows invalid target.
This needs to be fixed so I can properly smack my friend in the face.
