Damage Debuffs
As far as I know, you have it right. Damage debuffs and self resistance work independently and stack together very well.

This is correct.

If you have an attack that deals 100 damage, let's say. You hit him with a debuff of 50% -dmg. His attack will do 50 damage to you. If you have an additional 50% resistance to his attack, he'll do half of the remaining damage to you. As such, you'll take 25 damage.

Yes.
Could any either answer a question about damage debuffs or point me in the direction of the answer? Hopefully I am just thinking about this too hard and the answer is simple, but I want to know how and where the damage debuff is applied. If you hit a critter that does 300 damage with Benumb (50% damage debuff), let's pretend the critter has no debuff resistances, would the damage of 150 hit the player then have the player's damage resistance applied? Basically would it be this, 300 initial damage -50% damage debuff = 150 then -50% resistance making the total amount of damage to the player from the critter 75?
Thanks in advance
