  1. Between those 2 Mu is better for farming until you can get your recharge to crazy levels and get perma hasten. Then if you feel like it you can change to pyro for a decent hold, ranged attack and fireball.
  2. I don't have anything in base storage and have done tons of respecs. It just takes a little planning. If storage is that big of an issue, it is pretty easy to set up your own SG and get some storage going. So what is your real problem?

Saying I dont like this, fix it is not a suggestion, it is a complaint or rant. How should it be streamlined? What should be changed? Why should the devs put their time on your idea vs whatever else they are working on?
  3. Also should be noted that for god knows what reason fury notifies mobs w/in 5' so if you are a brute, no matter how much stealth you have, mobs will still react to you once you get close.

There are aesthetic concerns, yes. 'How does Foot Stomp stomp the ground if you're in the air?' is a question that gets asked whenever I brought this up with Castle.

My reply remains the same: It just does.

Just like how Whirling Hands works in the air, when it's a very similar ground hitting attack.

Or how Fire Aura works when in water or how you can call down Warburg satellite nukes in a cave...in another dimension...thousands of years in the past.

So I ask that it be considered for ground-only powers to get a similar 'whirling hand wave' and stop being singled out because of a player's chosen travel power.

    .
The powers are not being singled out because of a players chosen travel power. The player is making the choice to pick and use a travel power that is incompatable with thier other power choices. The discription is right there when you pick the powers. You make it sound as if after you picked fly as your travel power, the devs came in and said, "hey, lets make footstomp a power that requires you to be on the ground because it would piss off Johnny" and that is not the case.

Just because some things seem a bit out of place ( how did Imperius get a cell phone?) does not mean that the rest of the game has to be, or even should be the same way.

Edit to add more stuff. Whirling hands is a spinning attack like Whirling mace or axe. The damage comes from spinning around and hitting all the foes around you, not from hitting the ground and having the ground cause the damage (Unlike footstomp). Fire circle sword, same thing damage comes from the sword (lethal) and the fire (uh fire) not from the ground (smashing). Those powers are not getting a waive of any kind.

  6. Sounds like there were not enough tanks/brutes on the trial. This happens to my toons all the time when there are only 2-3 other tanks/brutes. Far too many players don't understand how aggro works and they think just attacking with their tank is enough.

Why does the Alpha have a way to use Shard and Salvage and the Notice of the Well to get to Tier 3 but the new stuff does NOT.. Why am I relegated to doing the same content over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over ( thats 29 overs BTW ) and NOT gettiing ANYTHING I need to advance beyond Tier 2..

And I dont want to hear about Notices turning into threads because I still wont have the rare salvage I need. I dont want to have to run 2-3 Trials a day to get the Emp Merit I need.. PLUS more uncommon salvage PLUS 100 Million influence PER SLot.. PER Toon.. That is NOT fun.. thats WORK and I already have a job.....

Not to mention that I have to play in an lag filled, effects gone mad environment that is hell on my older PC which ran CoH just fine until recently. Now I am playing on the lowest settings and its still slow. Oh and the constant mapserving and disconnecting in the middle of a trial which is OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH so fun. and I KNOW it screw up that whole participation metric which then screws me so I get uncommons... AGAIN...

Im sorry Ive been a loyal CoH fan for over seven years now.. but I do not like what I see happening. I used to get in.. play.. and at least feel like I am making progress when I played.. Now I feel like I am being screwed with when I play.. and that is not fun..
Sooooo where is the suggestion? What alternate way are you thinking of? My suggestion to the devs is open a piss and moan forum so people can properly post there when they want to complain about something but don't want to bother to put in the effort on how it should be fixed.

  11. Since we are requesting to be able to buy stuff that we normally would have to earn or unlock, how about being able to buy badges? Hate having to work for accolades on all those toons? Drop 10 bucks and unlock it for all your toons. Want some more E merits or A merits so you can unlock those incarnate powers? Have no fear you just pay some real money and get some more. How about we just let people buy Inf as well? I mean really, those high priced recipies and IOs are gated because not everyone has the time to farm for all that Inf so they can afford it.
  12. Forcing somone to play WoW? Ill take the physical work or the beatings instead.

The same farmer told me he farms +4x8 with an ice/rad troller. Another time was farmed with an elec/elec blaster, as much as some people say that elec/elec blaster sucks.

Those are all individual examples and very uncommon for the set. Player ability has alot to do with farming as well. Toons are just tools and are less than half of what goes into a decent farmer, the player; the person using the tool is the one that contributes the most.

Give the best mechanics tools to someone that knows nothing about cars and ask them to fix your engine problems and you will get nowhere. That sounds like the ss/fire person.

Give common tools to a great mechanic and they can tear appart your car and put it back together and have it running better than before. That sounds alot like the others.

My problem is that the ones I got are sequential. 15. Just because you play in areas where you cannot use the voice chat does not mean others will force you or kick you because of it.

I have played several other games with integrated voice chat. So far I have come across 1 person out of hundreds that demand it be used. It is acutally the games that do not have it that seem to have more issues. Games with 2 hour raids tend to generate teams that will require you to use vent, even if you dont have a mic just so you can follow the instructions.

Overall with the CoX community, the chances of being kicked from a team because you wont use the voice feature is extreemly low.

I have been on teams where everyone but me was on voice chat. It can be an annoyance but nothing game breaking. I have also been on teams here where no one is on voice chat but no one is chatting in game either. Same basic feeling.

Lastly, just because the game is pretty easy and nothing really requires the ability to chat does not mean it would not be an improvement if it were added. I probably would not use the feature either but can certainly see how it would be usefull for others.
  16. Some people seem to be getting the wrong idea of what I am asking for or why. I am not asking to get out of being sequestered. I am not asking for a delay in the times that you can get warnings. If I get a 2nd warning and 3rd at the same time, the 3rd would still apply, but instead of it hitting right away, I am asking for short delay before the sequestering takes effect so I can get the hell out of the way and not get half the raid held.

So letÂ’s say I get the Second warning at second 0. What I am asking is for the sequestering effect to not take place until second 10 even if I get hit with it at second 1-9.

Is 10 seconds too long? How about 8, maybe 7?

Again, I am not looking for ways to prevent the sequestering. I am aware of them and can either avoid it or deal with it most of the time. It is the rare times when I get hit with 2 warnings back to back or very close together where I have the issue. If I came across as this being something that happens all the time, I apologize, that was not my intent. This would mainly be a QOL change and not a "OMFG THE GAME IS UNPLAYABLE!!!11!" request.

  18. I am not attempting to tank both AVs at once. With both standing next to each other, I attack one on my brute with aoe attacks (just like most of the other 15+ people including tanks and other brutes) and get aggro from both. My attack chain is footstomp, burn, fireball with maybe a KO blow tossed out there as well. I do not view be less efficent at dealing damage as a viable option.

On the times when I am on a toon with taunt and both are next to each other, I taunt when I see someone else with 2 rings that wont get out of the way. Since taunt is an AOE power poof.... warning 2.. held 2 seconds later. Since I cannot control others not taunting when they should and not getting out of the way when they should, I am just asking for a warning to be a warning with time to react.

By a small amount, yes. However that is also damag per target and FS hits more targets during ambush farms. The total damage, even DPA, will be higher on FS most of the time.

    The Respec Trial

You can do the last 2 villian respecs in about 15-20 min each. This is less time than you spend waiting for mobs to spawn on the hero version yet the reward is exactly the same.

And really, when was the last time anyone was on a team full of people that had gimpped builds? It really only takes half the team, and a little brain power to do the hero trial as is. Turning the difficluty from a 2 to a 5 by speeding up the spawn time in the reactor room really should not be that big of a deal.
  23. HelinCarnate

    Civilians

Newest tank primary and scrapper, brute, stalker secondary..... Civilian armor. You have 100% resists to all damage types, even unresistable damage.

The downside is you cannot use any other powers and you have to run around with your hands in the air all the time.
  24. Recharge up to 30 seconds. End use dropped to 10.

Seems like a workable solution to me. Global recharge would speed it up and could slot for recharge as well if you really wanted to buff that often.

Other than getting the Keep Em Seperated badge, have you ever been on a team where the goal was to keep the 2 AVs on, say, different sides of the tennis courts? All I am asking for is for the 2nd warning to be an actual warning and allow you time to react. Is that something that is really that unreasonable?
