The gauntlet has been thrown, DC/WB. Let's see you top that for the next GL trailer!

He does mention our favorite superhero MMO quite favorably in comparison early on, particularly in terms of character creation.
EyeBeeTeeDee (just in case!) -
A preview of the next round of vids from the NChick, starting off with a look back at the X-Men animated series!
Nella is dead...
Now comes the rise of Dark Nella!! -

Wonder Woman has a pretty unique and interesting origin: molded from clay and given life and powers by the Greek gods? But yeah, there are an awful lot of "distaff counterpart" heroines out there... Supergirl/Power Girl, Mary Marvel, Batgirl/Batwoman, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, even Wasp to an extent.

I was always under the impression that the Marvel pantheons (Norse, Greek, etc.) were supposed to be some sort of nigh-immortal cosmic beings who also just happened to be worshipped by the people of Earth. (Alex Ross's Earth X series and its sequels twisted that idea to some extent, saying that Odin was originally a mortal who came upon a race of shapeshifting aliens and molded their bodies and minds to suit his own whims and ambitions, eventually becoming nearly immortal as they were.)
Having the Asgardians be "aliens" from some other dimension/higher plane of existence doesn't necessarily invalidate their status as gods compared to the people of Midgard. -
Sisko was never Captain of the Enterprise, which disqualifies him from this particular debate. That, and... yeah, Sisko getting involved in this would be like Christopher Walken duking it out with Michael Ironside: no one would survive the sheer awesomeness.

The second pic in both links looks like it might be from near the end of the movie, right before that fateful last flight where Cap wound up frozen...
I have to say, they really seem to be hitting it out of the park with the WWII-era look of the film overall. -
Yashida clan drama! Fun!!
Yes, I fully expect to see Silver Samurai and/or Sunfire in this movie. AND THAT SHOULD BE IT FOR MUTANT CAMEOS. -
In that sense, the idea of the "Dark Knight" as a sort of feudal lord actually sort of works. He's not just handing down judgements from on high, he's personally taking responsibility for the safety and well-being of his "vassals," those law-abiding citizens of Gotham under his (admittedly self-proclaimed) protection, risking his own safety and well-being in the process of rooting out those undesireable elements threatening his domain with violence.
In the end, though, it's just another of many interesting ways to examine and interpret Batman. -
It should also be noted that you can only go undercover for the faction you originally chose (post-tutorial, if you ran it). So Loyalists can get undercover content while running Resistance mishes and vice-versa, but they can't then turn around and call Calvin Scott for undercover content in Loyalist missions after supposedly switching sides. Whichever faction you originally chose is your permanent "real" alignment until you go to Paragon or the Rogue Isles.

If they can fly or TP, make sure they know to also get the exploration badge on the truck floating in space by the 31st.

There's also a line from the episode with Mockingbird where Grim Reaper mentions meeting with "the fat man" in New York, and that he'll agree to stay out of Hydra's way.

Looks pretty cool. Vehicle mode somewhat resembles Tankor from Beast Machines. And, by Primus, that's a freakin' awesome gun-arm! Yeah, I can see this guy possibly giving Megatron a run for his money in leading the Decepticons.
-
And, at long last, Tigra looks like a ninja.
I'll probably check this out. -

Annnnnnd here we are, folks! The finale to the Cry for Justice review. Can Linkara stomach the horror, stupidity and just plain wrongness of this series, much less survive the coming of Lord Vyce?
Justice League: Cry for Justice #5-7 -
As it's relevant to the Lord Vyce saga unfolding in the Cry for Justice review, I'm posting last week's entry, a special "extra" video that Linkara had planned to have ready over the holidays before it was delayed.
Power Rangers Zeo #1
And completely unrelated (but kinda cool), a special LIVE episode of Atop the 4th Wall from MAGfest!
Behold, Atari Force! -

The 2012 nonsense is a religious belief and as it is, it is not allowed to be talked about and this thread should be moderated...
We're just having a grand old time talkin' about George Lucas and Seth Rogan and spaceships and stuff! Honest! -
With guest appearances by Lord MacGuffin and Douchey McNitpick.
Also, the return of... her glasses!

It depends.
Like you pointed out in your examples of Batman/Grendel or Batman/Spider-Man, there are some crossovers where there seems to be the idea that these characters have always existed side by side in a shared universe, despite never previously encountering or mentioning each other in their respective individual books. The DC/Dark Horse crossovers with various heroes encountering Predators, Xenomorphs (from the Aliens movies), etc. also fall into this category.
Stories like JLA/Avengers (or Superman/Fantastic Four, to cite something from my own collection), on the other hand, establish that the heroes are indeed from different realities, though they might well be aware of each other.
I think it really just depends on the writer. -
Maybe they're planning to beef it up with CGI later?
/em shrug -
My guess is they just wanted to have someone using the Angel codename in the "original" team for the movie-verse, since the actual original Angel didn't show up until the third movie.
Kind of like how they needed a Summers (Havok) and a redhead (Mystique) on the team.
