If there were alternate animations to the ridiculous flippy, spinny, Michael Jackson dance moves they have currently, I might actually play that power set. I like the idea behind it and can come up with lots of concepts for characters. None of them do that stupid spinning garbage though. I mean, seriously...could anyone ever take Randolph Scott seriously as a Western hero if he was dancing during a gunfight? Even Gene Autry, the Singing Cowboy himself, didn't debase himself like that. And we've all seen the shirts he wore in his movies. They make Michael J. Fox's shirt in Back To The Future 3 look tame.

I'm just hearing about this Super Pack idea for the first time today...
So, I have to spend my hard earned money in the store and HOPE I get LUCKY? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
No. -
What I'd ultimately like to see is selections of model skins made available in the power customization screen. I think I'd like to see Police or SWAT models made available as a customized selection for both Mercs and Thugs. I think having a selection of model choices in the drop-downs could work for all MM sets. No need to adjust any of the powers themselves, just give the player a choice of which model they'd like to use for that particular summon power.

Yeah. As a couple people pointed out earlier, this is akin to him showing up to a weekend D&D session expecting to be able to play Drizzt Do'Urden and then expecting WoTC to rewrite his adventures into the official lore.

That's great, Alex. Can't wait to see more!

Even bots like to melee. I have one drone that suicides constantly. While all the others hang back with their sweet, sweety lasery, missiley, firey goodness, this one complete robotard (can't believe I've never thought up that word before) always runs up and punches something with the laser gun on the end of it's arm. Same Drone. EVERY. TIME. I think once I get my VIP status back I'm actually going to rename him Robotard.

Quote:Ok...you are suppose to get the debuff if you do the ritual wrong. The bug only affects people who get the debuff from doing the ritual wrong. No one else.If you are never supposed to get it.
Why is it even in the game.
Do you even listen to what your saying?
Just a couple posts up from yours, Thunder Knight spelled out, specifically, what things to NOT do during the ritual to avoid botching it, and thus getting the bugged debuff. Do NOT "mutter some magical incantations" or "dance around the circle, chanting". Simple. Do not do either of those things and you won't botch the ritual and get the debuff which has the potential to afflict your character with a bug.
Now, if, for some reason, you DO do one of the two things you have now been specifically warned (twice) not to do and you get debuffed AND you also get the debuff bug that everyone is complaining about, make sure you /bug it. That's what that tool is there for. This is a BUG. It is not intentional. It is not because the devs hate you and have singled you out. -
Need baseball stirrups and jerseys. My Mace/WP Tank, Cooperstown, is begging for a proper uniform.

Ahh. I get it now. You're one of those people who actually believes that everything you write is true and factual. I'm sorry to have to be the one to break this to you, but you are not the unique and special snowflake your mommy said you were. You are a sad, delusional person and you have my pity.

For what it's worth, people like the OP are exactly why I don't RP in MMOs.

I think this is a good idea for an IO set. It could fit multiple character concepts. But, I'll admit this is coming from a guy who use to play a Shadow Knight in EQ. -

I realized the other day that the Blaster secondary Energy Manipulation might be my favorite powerset in the game due entirely to Power Thrust. There is nothing I find more enjoyable in this game than running up behind a low level minion on ledge and seeing how far I can launch them.

Most of the Winter Event badges work pretty well for Frosty Femme. There are a few tech based ones that I like for Wrecking Gear. Patriot works for my various patriotic themed characters. There's almost always a perfect badge out there for whatever your character's concept is.

There's a metal band here in Portland that the original post sounds perfect for. They're called Wizard Rifle. They put on a pretty good show, too.

I wouldn't complain either. One of my drones absolutely insists he's a Scrapper. Despite his laser guns and lack of fists.

Meh. It'll all work out eventually. Hopefully in time to get up to Seattle at the end of March and again during the summer for PAX (which I've also never made it to, despite living in the area).

I might be able to go this year. But, I'm not counting on it. I never managed to make it when I was living in Olympia and had a job. Now that I'm in Portland and got laid off a couple months ago it seems unlikely, but there's still time. I'm hopeful!
Wouldn't be in costume though. Seriously, no one wants to see me dress up as Frosty Femme. -
I want a cyberpunk set. Or magepunk. That ultimate blend of magic and technology. Mostly something with more laser rifles and rocket packs.

Quote:But Retro Sci-Fi absolutely *is* 1950s pulp.I voted for the sleekest pieces. Sci-Fi is science fiction, not 1950's pulp.
I voted for the pieces that spoke to me the most as items that could be used on a wider variety of character concepts. I appreciate the idea that people are looking for something a little more stylistically specific and if they're going to have to pay for it, they want to pay for exactly what they want. I get all that. I just don't hold out any hope that we'll ever see rocket packs offered to us again and I have lots of characters that could use one and they aren't all Retro Sci-Fi. I'd rather vote for something more "generic". -
Can we also have Chainsawsuit as a defensive power to go with our Chainsaw melee?
Also: BONESAW IS READDDY! -
While I'll agree the bacon probably could have been cooked a bit longer to be a bit more appetizing, I think many of the people posting about it are either missing the point or being more than just a little nitpicky. These are roses made out of BACON. BACON. I wish I knew how to use the fancy codes on this board to make that word bigger, bolder and more...more. It's fracking bacon!
