Emerald City Comic Con 2012
I might be able to go this year. But, I'm not counting on it. I never managed to make it when I was living in Olympia and had a job. Now that I'm in Portland and got laid off a couple months ago it seems unlikely, but there's still time. I'm hopeful!
Wouldn't be in costume though. Seriously, no one wants to see me dress up as Frosty Femme.

Wow. Sounds like you're having a pretty bad year, hopefully 2012 turns things around for you. Don't let a couple of set backs get you down. If you're there try to have a good time, see it as a small break through the weight of the world.
Good luck with job hunting!
Meh. It'll all work out eventually. Hopefully in time to get up to Seattle at the end of March and again during the summer for PAX (which I've also never made it to, despite living in the area).

Hi there, you!
Little late to inform, but for anyone who is interested, I will be attending Emerald City Comic Con so if anyone wants to get together for a CoH howdy do, and maybe some cosplay of your favorite character's (original costumes) that would be pretty cool. I'd like to do a small photo-shoot if you can make it, even without a costume, just for fun! I'll be there for sure March 31st/Saturday, more than likely coming in rather early in the morning staying throughout the day to a TBD nightly leave. I'll be doing previous dress ups of comic characters while also throwing out my lot of a few CoH inspired cosplays that I've been working on for a bit.
It's in Washington State, is massively huge and has a nice follow up of a lot of people with similar interests, also some pretty big unveiling of upcoming works that I know some of you would be excited about.
Hit me up in my inbox if you're going to come out, especially if you are planning to dress up, CoH or otherwise. We can make a day of having our pictures taken, sharing laughter, and going to various panels. Be nice to have a day out with those who know more about this game, and even more so to talk about something I have a pretty deep interest in as of right now.
Give a shout out in here to let me know if you're attending, and would like to be part of a little something I'm going to (attempt to) put together. What times do you plan on arriving, what panels interest you, and if you need help with fabric links or creative workshops to purchase off the wall items to fit your toon concept.
Thanks for reading, and hope to possibly see some of you there.
