  1. I think we're ready for a Squirrel Girl movie. With Emma Stone as Squirrel Girl.
  2. At the risk of being made a pariah...I enjoyed the Robin Williams one. I'm looking forward to this.
  3. The Human Fly was probably the first comic book I ever owned, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I'll watch this movie.
  4. I want my one minute and thirty seconds back, please.

    Taken 2 trailer

I remember when the first movie came out, my friend Darryl said it was good to see Liam Neeson finally playing a badass instead of always playing in a romantic comedy. After that the conversation went like this:

What? What about Qui Gon Jin?
    Exception to the rule.

    What about Rob Roy?
    Never heard of it.
    You never hea...what?

What about Schindler's List? You've heard of that.
    He was in Schindler's List?
    HE WAS SCHINDLER!
    Oh.
    I hate you.

    That they're telling us.
  7. I've done a lot of things in my life that I do, or will, regret. Video games aint one of them.
  8. This is not an idea for a new enemy within a group, but a revamp of an existing enemy. Can we please re-roll all Lost Swordsmen as Titan Weapons?
  9. I ate this bacon sundae last night. It was not terrible. My daughter thought it was the greatest thing in the history of always and forever.
  10. Darth Tyranus, Dark Lord of the Sith? More like Darth Metal, Dark Lord of the Riff!

    a) hurts like heck through a rib pad.
and b) won't injure yourself using it.
If that was the case Batman would never have used it in every single TV episode.

    Also, you're missing the point.
  12. Pretty nice! Alex is easily one of my favorite people on this planet.
  13. I solo pretty exclusively. I've never done a TF/SF. Ever. On any character. Not even a Respec. The only Trial I've ever run, on any character, is DFB and that's really only because I hate the new starting content so very, very much that I want out of Atlas as fast as possible. I use to team occasionally with a SG, but that was mostly out of a sense of obligation to my SG mates. I've been in the occasional PUG (other than DFB), but I really don't like it. Not that I've had any bad experiences, I would just rather do everything at my own pace and in my own time. The fact that you can do that in this game and still progress at a reasonable pace is a huge part of why I'm still here 8 years later.
  14. They are correct to do so. I will buy one on Friday.

To expand on this, the sales tax you pay would be at the store you purchased the card from and would have no effect on the points on the card. If you buy $50 worth of points and pay an extra $5 in tax you still have $50 on the card. Not every place has sales tax to begin with. People purchasing a card in the state of Washington, USA would pay sales tax while people doing so in the state of Oregon, USA would not.
  16. I think the other one was Burger King. I did not opt-out of seeing the advertisements. In fact, I was looking forward to them. I thought it would be pretty cool as well as bring in some additional revenue for the game. Sadly, it just didn't work.

I don't need them and it's unlikely I would buy them, but there was a time in my life where I didn't have a bank account and online transactions were a complete pain in my pancakes. Something like this is absolutely necessary to keep butts in seats playing this game.
  18. This is pretty much exactly what I've been asking for for years. Only, I didn't include any picture type things as examples.
  19. Me too. I've never really understood some of the decisions to put up a level barricade for unlockable generic weapons. For the most part I don't even bother trying to figure out what's unlockable or not, nor do I bother trying to find out what I have to do in order to get those items. I discovered that they just weren't worth my time or energy. If I'm creating a character that a particular costume part would be perfect for, I don't want to wait until level 40 to start running Task Forces or Trials (both of which fall pretty solidly into my Not Fun category) for a chance that I might, maybe, possibly, get that item one day. Maybe even by the time I hit the level cap and move on to another character.

I like the idea of unlockable content. In fact, I love it. But, the way it's been done so far in this game has caused me to ignore any of it.

Wait...so you're saying Green Arrow can't beat Superman in a straight up slugfest?

The specific color doesn't matter. Just something that makes them obviously different.
  22. I like this idea. Running the arcs on my lowbies is tiresome and I'm kind of done with doing those arcs at this point, but I do really like the characters and the story is written well. As long as that continues I'd love to see a few more arcs with The Shining Stars.
  23. Is there a reason they can't just change the color of the Stalker AS to red instead of orange thus differentiating it from Dual Blades combos?
  24. I think they need to cast Willem DeFoe as Ozzie Norman, evil CEO of Ozcorp, which has a green flying monkey as its logo. This does double duty of giving us our Cpt. America tie-in because he gets that reference.
  25. What Tenzhi said. I haven't read comics in many years. Other than hitting a comic shop for a particular series that caught my attention like Civil War. But, back in the day (early '90s), I read almost exclusively Marvel and Image titles. Sure, I'd pick up the occasional Batman or Superman book, or if I saw a DC cover that looked really interesting I'd grab it.

Today I find that I like most of the DC characters when they show up in various cartoons (serials or movies), but still have no interest in reading the books. I still relate better to Marvel characters and if I were to take out a comic subscription or hit a shop every month for a specific title it would most likely be Marvel.

It has nothing to do with who is publishing what story and everything to do with which characters I find a connection to. DC just doesn't have very many characters that interest me.
