Taken 2 trailer
Indeed.
I like that it ties directly in with the events of the first film. I like that it brings back the principle actors. I like that Liam Neeson must once again kill more dudes.
I'm not thrilled with the title. Taken? Awesome. Taken 2? Kinda lame, but I guess it's simply a case of the first movie having a name that just doesn't work with a number attached, IMO.
Taken 2: The Takening
Also Taken.
I like how its basically showing that Liam Neeson's brought the entire plot of the sequel on himself directly by being a badass assassin who kills everyone he meets.
The consequences for murdering large numbers of mooks does not play enough of a role in these movies I think.

Also, make awesome speeches.
The only appropriate title is
Taken 2: Electric Boogaloo
Agua Man lvl 48 Water/Electric Blaster
"To die hating NCSoft for shutting down City of Heroes, that was Freedom."
So is this supposed to be a prequel or is this a sequel? I thought they were divorced and she was remarried if this is a sequel looks like she divorced her second husband to be with the first.

Does anyone remember when after the first Star Wars movie came out Liam said he was retiring, well he did for a few years anyways. Glad he decided to come back.

Hummm, let's see...
"Man with extensive paramilitary experience/espionage training/mob relations sees his family threatened/kidnapped/killed for something he did before and decide to go on a rescue mission/vengeance spree"
... where have I seen this before ?....

Taken 2: The Streets
I remember when the first movie came out, my friend Darryl said it was good to see Liam Neeson finally playing a badass instead of always playing in a romantic comedy. After that the conversation went like this:
What? What about Qui Gon Jin?
Exception to the rule.
What about Rob Roy?
Never heard of it.
You never hea...what?
What about Schindler's List? You've heard of that.
He was in Schindler's List?
HE WAS SCHINDLER!
Oh.
I hate you.
your = Belonging to you.
you're = Contraction meaning "You are."
Ur = The name of an ancient Mesopotamian city.
ur = This is not a word.
... the bad guy is the Most Interesting Man in the World. Sure looks like him.

I'm sorry, but had everyone forgotten just how tragic and badass Mr. Neeson can be: "They destroyed everything he had, everything he was. Now, crime has a new enemy and justice has a new face."
Sheesh...
Thank you for the time...
Maybe the badguy has a time machine?
Why do they put a commercial on before a commercial!?
I still need to see the first, but this sort of makes me want to, just for the sheer absurdity of the premise. "Hey, guys, remember last time, when we accidentally pissed that one guy off real bad and he murderized like everybody? Let's do it again, this time on purpose!"
The plan would mostly work...if it was made in Japan :3
Hm, apparently Neil Patrick Harris is in this, too.
I am, personally, very much looking forward to this.
"I don't always play movie villains, but when I do, it's against Liam Neeson. Stay badass, my friends."

Sadly, I looked it up and it's Rade Serbedzija who plays the bad guy, not Jonathan Goldsmith. They just look very similar. Though Serbedzija's accent is authentic, or at least closer to that part of the world, since he's Croatian.

Because the world is always better with Liam Neeson being a badass.
