More Shining Stars please
In your opinion. In mine, they're 3 arcs too long.
Rabbits & Hares:Blue (Mind/Emp Controller)Maroon (Rad/Thermal Corruptor)and one of each AT all at 50
MA Arcs: Apples of Contention - 3184; Zen & Relaxation - 35392; Tears of Leviathan - 121733 | All posts are rated "R" for "R-r-rrrrr, baby!"|Now, and this is very important... do you want a hug? COH Faces @Blue Rabbit
The Shining Stars questlines are my favorite part of the game. I really wish they lasted longer.

My City Was Gone
Twinshot and her gang seem to be pretty popular, so I think it's a good bet that we'll see more of them in the future - they left open quite a few plot lines that could genrate follow up arcs.

They show up in one of the villainous SSA 1 missions as well. The 4th one, I think.
The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is a natural manure. -Thomas Jefferson
Read the Patriot newsletter. It's right, it's free.
My favorite is Grimm of course.
While I'd like to have more Shining Stars, I'd also like to see other NPC supergroups that you league up with to help them with their problems.
At the moment, I can only think of Civic Squad. Would like to meet them and learn some of their backstory then help them in their endeavors just like we'd do with the Shining Stars.
Then make a tech focused supergroup who is being infiltrated by Malta or something that you have to flush out the mole. Then a natural alien group where you end up taking your fight to other 'worlds' and dimensions. A supernatural group whose, I dunno, stopping Dracula from turning everyone into vampires...I dunno, I'm not really creative this morning >_>
Is is still morning? Bleh, I need to go brush my teeth...
I have to agree on this. I would love to see more of their storylines playout or even similar story arcs. I always tell new players they should run it at least once just for the experience.
I wasn't really thrilled by the arcs but I generally liked the characters. And I'm curious if we'll ever see Flambeaux's break from the team and her descent into villainy.
Grym also showed up in DA in the Dream Doctor's finale.
I'd love to see the Shining Stars arcs continue to 50!
Jem - Ill/Rad Controller Lv 50+3 Nic - Mind/Psi Dominator Lv 50+3 Lady Liberation - Invuln/SS Tanker Lv 50+1 Invicitx - Demon/Pain Mastermind Lv 50+1 Celeste - Emp/Arch Defender Lv 50+1 Nightsilver - DB/WP Scrapper Lv 34 Dusk Howl - StJ/Regen Brute Lv 32 Kyriani - Time/Energy Defender Lv 41Psifire - FF/Psi Defender Lv 50
Star Lighter - LB/LA Peacebringer Lv 30
When I first saw them debut, I kind of assumed they were gonna be a sort of generic SG for Loners and Freebies. A place with a Vault, Crafting Table, a few telepads and maybe one or two personal storage rack(s).
Still think it would be a good idea, add a PPD or FP mission contact for repeatables, kinda like Paper or Tips missions. Let members use any of the cities Base Portals to access with a physical exit door in Atlas and teleportal beacons in a handful of major destinations.
And I do agree they should have a mission arc path all the way to 50.
I like this idea. Running the arcs on my lowbies is tiresome and I'm kind of done with doing those arcs at this point, but I do really like the characters and the story is written well. As long as that continues I'd love to see a few more arcs with The Shining Stars.
your = Belonging to you.
you're = Contraction meaning "You are."
Ur = The name of an ancient Mesopotamian city.
ur = This is not a word.
Only so long as they dropped the massive amount of writer godmode/railroading they had, and I get to turn Grym into a rug.
Oh, and Dillo. He lost all likeability after he was TOUGHER THAN GOLLY GEE GOSH DARNED MANTICORE in the villain SSA. I'm sorry, but some random 'joke' character, actually harder to put down than a Phalanx Member? No. Just no.
And then they added in a Ballista, just to spite me... >_<
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

To be fair, though... judging by their powersets on Tomax, Dillo's an Invulnerability/Super-Strength Tanker, while Manticore is a Trick Arrow/Archery Defender with a couple of pool powers (Stealth and Maneuvers), so I'd expect Dillo to be much stronger and tougher than Manticore any sort of straight-up fight. In fact, I'd expect Dillo to be physically the toughest of the whole Shining Stars team.
(For comparison, Grym looks like a BS/Regen Scrapper, Flambeau a Fire/Fire Blaster, Proton a Rad/Rad Defender, and Twinshot a DP/Devices Blaster. Proton and Twinshot could be Corruptors, and Dillo and Grym Brutes, but I'm assigning them the old-school "Heroic" Archetypes since that's what they seem to be based around)
So I'd expect Manticore to be much better at sneaking around where you can't see him and putting an arrow (or twenty) in your back from a hundred yards away, but physically tougher? Nope. A rich guy with a bow and arrow being tougher than an invulnerable super-strong alien, that's where the Writer Godmode comes in.
Dillo's race, the Maaxigada'arzildilo, have had 18 of their 21 planets destroyed by Battalion, so it's possible we could see some of Dillo's people joining us in the fight against Battalion.

/signed, this story needs to be told
By now we know Flambeaux/Proton are probably ready to defect to the bad guys, would love to see who among the Hearts of Darkness is having a moral crisis as well. Zephyr and Dollface, maybe?
