[/ QUOTE ]The arc I did was 97694. It didnt have anything in the spawn but a single boss. These are th kinds of missions I run on my stalker since they are good at boss killing.
Edit: I just did another mission, one that I would consider a real ticket farm and didnt get the error about the ticket cap at all. My guess is that its something to do with certain maps. -
I am going to retest again tomorrow but if you all have been ticketing all day and no bug then thats a different matter all together. I was thinking that everyone was so occupied with all the phat xpz the MA had that no one stopped to check their tickets all day because I didnt see any other posts about this.

I was doing a mission and I got the message 1 or more tickets were not awarded because you have hit the ticket cap. What gives? Whats the whole point of this? This wasnt even a farming mission. Solo I got about half way thru before I even got the message. Seriously if this is working as intended I am thru with the MA because this is just insane because there is no reward for doing missions solo harder than the current wussified dev content we have now.
Just so you knowI am no where near the 9,999 cap. I have like 88 tickets at the start of the mission and had like 398 near the middle of it.

Been doing my testing with this. Ninjas are still borked. Wont go to melee unless I put them there or the critter comes to them. Jounin will still sit there sometimes waiting on soaring dragon to recharge or golden dragonfly to recharge. Its like they either want their attack to be soaring dragon, soaring dragon, soaring dragon, or golden dragonfly, golden dragonfly, golden dragonfly. Its just weird how they just completely ignore all other attacks they have that are recharged. Personally I just wish they could have given us the ability to select or deselect certain attacks that way at least I wouldnt have to worry about making the go into melee even if they are still going to spam one attack over and over.

Before yall pass judgement and say 7000 tickets is illegal think about what you are giving up for those tickets. At lvl 50 7000 tickets is roughly equal to almost 2 pool C drops depending on the level range you pick. In the process of getting enough for those drops you are giving up salvage that would have been dropping had it been a regular mission, you are giving up other recipes like purples and the new very rare-pool c drops. So in a sense it all balances out over time because of what you give up to get those tickets/drops.

With the projected ratio of Purples to Rare drops being estimated at 6:1, going from 4K to 10K tickets is so completely disproportional it's laughable..not to mention the 9999 cap we currently have (in place to discourage hoarding and abuse of the system).
Either you're already grinding tickets and know how easy it would be at 10K or you can't earn Purples on your own and want the market prices to drop as supply increase.
The POINT of Purples is that NOT everyone has them or will have them, but that they are available..if you're playing for Purples for no other reason..you're missing the point.

Next time bring a healer/buffer/debuffer. Thats all you need for this kind of stuff.

[/ QUOTE ]this one is kind of obvious, they can see us from further away. Just play some of the custom missions. Its very easy to see even if they have no perception+ powers. Its almost like they are working together. Like they see their buddy in the next spawn getting creamed so they decide to go ahead and help out instead of looking like a bump on a log. We need this kind of thing on regular missions where critters can run get help. That would make for some interesting battles and it would make people value immobilize and range attacks alot more. -

Ive been giving feed back, but i never head any return soo i dont even know if anyone is listening.. i wish people would scale back just a bit, its a game its ment to be fun not a night of running back and forth to the cloner.
Sooo far, one arc that i did like, challenging but not extreme, and fun story.. It takes place on the Rouge islands and contact is oppertive kirkland. I was on a hero soo it was sorta like i was a rouge mercanary, worked for RP atleast
its called
32801, Sharkhead Island and the Circle of banished warriors. (can ya guess the mobs?) Its a magic themed arc and very entertianing. Only issue i had was last mission was a big outdoor map and fidning the bosses was kinda a pain, but atleast the map fit the arcs theme and did make for a nice ending. Just too bad we cant place the bosses better making larger maps easier to use.
soo anyone got some decent arcs out there that arnt just stupid hard? It really is no fun when ya got the mission set to heroic and the mobs are basiclaly no challenge only to get to end boss and you need a tray of large insps to take him down,,
Its just frusterating, espeically when ya see soo many people asking for more space to make more custom mobs.. when to date i think ive found all of a handfull taht had custom mobs that were accually fun to play against, Not some instant death slog fest on heroic.

[/ QUOTE ]Maybe its just that you are so used to not getting defeated? I find the current missions we have outside of the MA too wussified for my taste. This game has been dumb down so much since the begining that it no longer posses a challenge outside of STF and the RSF. The harder missions are exactly what we need. It gives us a reason to have a buffer/healer/debuffer around instead of never needing them. It gives a team a reason to want a tanker for a change. The only real problem I see with the system is how the defensive secondaries are handling the mezzing situation. If that gets addressed without some how gutting the challenge of it all, I will be suprised. -
Can any of the Supber Booster II stuff be used with the custome critters? Like give them the juggle emote?

[/ QUOTE ]Many parts are either no longer in the same place in the system or the names have changed, so that could be why you dont see what you are looking for or why it wont copy. I had the same thing to happen on my toon. He uses super natural eyes 13 but that is no longer a selectable option that I can tell. -

In I14 Beta, Synapse said that the newly combined and weighted Pool C+D recipes were set to drop from defeats of Boss and higher ranked foes (very rare). So... did that make it to Live or not? It wasn't in the Patch Notes for live release and it was in the Beta Patch Notes that it was pulled.

according to the description of the item you buy at the vendor, it has. Confirmation in the patch note would be nice, though, since it's on trust that the drop rate is weighted.

[/ QUOTE ]Also if possible can we know how tickets are actually rewarded? I have done missions solo where identical bosses will drop different ticket amounts. For instance one mission the boss dropped 24 tickets, then 25 tickets, 30 tickets and then sometimes 64 tickets. I could see if it was just a level difference or something but sometimes these bosses were the same level yet granted different ticket amounts. It makes me wonder if there is a bug for solo tickets as well. -
Subjective Feedback: This change couldnt come soon enough. This has saved me so much time by not having to log in all my toons. Its hard enough keeping up with who is working on what day job, not having to worry about WW/BM is great.

[/ QUOTE ]Subjective Feedback: On one hand it really makes it hard to create challenges meant for basic teaming because we dont have enough control over the powers a critter gets. We end up making them too tough for the control ATs because if we give them any defensive secondary they get so much mez protection. If we dont then its essentially us creating paper dolls which are easily slaughtered. This in turn is like the same wussified content we have had these past 5 years. So somethings going to have to be done with critter mez protection to be fair to all ATs.
What I been hating with all of this is all the thread on farming. Its totally getting out of hand. The devs need to make a public formal statement on what farming is or isnt in the mission architech so we can finally put this arguement to rest. I dont want the MA so stripped down that it no longer a challenge for tankers/scrappers/brutes/stalkers/masterminds all because of the farming tattle tales. -

Thanks to how freely they drop, I'm *far* more likely to "burn" tickets on rolls, especially Bronze, than I have been with mission merits. The latter I tend to save up - and with how cheap it is for bronze rolls which take up some of what I'd save up FOR, they'll probably be saved up more for 'big ticket' items. I don't see myself rolling mission merits on random "stuff" any longer.
[/ QUOTE ]Subjective Feedback: I agree with you. I was never a big fan of the random roll on merits, in fact I often spoke out against them except if it was a trial roll. But the way tickets pour in I am more willing to burn them on a random rolls instead of just buying salvage with it. My only complaint is that the ticket cap is too low. I would like to be able to save up to do multiple gold rolls instead of just two, aside from that I think the system is great.
What I would like to see is the relaxed tf mode that the MA has be added to ouroboros, this would make that system more popular. I dont think it should be added to real TFs because it would cheapen the experience though. -

Hope you guys are enjoying the costume change emotes that are part of the Magic booster pack. There have been questions here on the forums about using these outside of the costume selection screen, and the answer is "Yes. There is a console command for activating these."
The command is /cc_e or /cc_emote ('costume change emote')
The full syntax is:
/cc_e [costumeSlotSlot#] [emoteName]
There are a couple of important notes. One, the costume slot numbers start with 0. So your first costume slot is 0, your 2nd is 1, 3rd is 2, etc. Two, you need to use the actual emote name, not the display name that you see in the costume select screen's rollout. For the magic pack, these are:

Will switch you to your 2nd costume slot, using the "Lightning" costume change emote.

Other than that, the normal rules for costume changes apply. You can only switch costumes once every 30 seconds. If you try to use a costume change emote sooner or try to switch to the costume slot you're already in, it won't work. You'll look foolish, and everyone will laugh at you.

Now if they have taken out the recharge function of the IO set do they plan on replacing it with another? If not whats the point of having it on. Also with out doing so it makes the IO sets no more usefull then say HOs or SOs. So why even offer the IO sets in the first place.
I Say this because I'm conserned about my Earth Pet and my Dark servent Pet. I'm close to dinging 50 on them. Which is when I start IOing. But I'm wondering if its even worth getting the IOs. I think adding a + movment or a + HP to the Pet IOs sets would be nice if they can't get the + recharge.
[/ QUOTE ]Pet sets themselves have never really been worth it to me. I just use the buff procs in certain sets. If the set bonuses didnt suck [censored] this would be a different story. Personally I say go with 3 acc/dam HO/SHO 2 buff resistance procs and chance for build up proc and you are good to go. If you got endurance issues change out one of the acc/dam HO/SHO for a damage/End Purple pet set IO. -
Have you tried making sure the desktop and game have the same resolution? This does make a difference for some folks. Also keep in mind with the hotfix there have been 2 versions of it. Make sure you are using version 2, version 2 will also be in the upcoming service pack for vista.

[/ QUOTE ]There is a page on paragon wiki that tells what pool each recipe is in. Pool A uncommon and rare is bronze, pool a rare and pool b are silver, and pool c and d are gold. Just look it up from that. Pvp IOs are ios dropped for killing other players. -
I just did this on my tanker, this was the first time since fighting ghost widow that I actually felt a challenge on my wp tanker. It was doable so long as I kept my resists about 70% to lethal. I just bought a bunch of oranges and went to town on these guys. For the whole mission I get well over 1000 tickets just for the kills. The mission complete bonuses was even more than that. It would be nice to see what it would be like if I had the mission architech day job active when I finished it.
I am so going to do this again when I get home from work.

Seriously devs you guys need to put this video into some kind of commercial on tv during the time of one of the super hero tv shows or movies. This would get you all the customers you could ever want.
