Rather not say until I know it's legal
you get more tickets for later missions in an arc
so if you are doing longer arcs you get more tickets - may make a big difference
It's not that hard really, I made one mish so far just to see how many guys I could get to spawn solo and how many tickets I could get. 6000 tickets not including the mish complete bonus, I left with one guy left just because I was sure my tickets would go over. They sure woulda to. I unpublished it idk because I felt it was an exploit. It just proves it's real easy to get tickets fast if you want to. The devs made it like this not us, we just use the tools they gave us.
PS. Ever think they're trying to replenish the market a bit after the effect merits had.
I would say to bug it and see definately do not post it here that sounds large even from a farming point of view though I don't fill my team and try any of the larger maps, if you bug it and they tell you it is working as intended then feel free to runit as many times as you want.
Ok, well let me give you an example of an arc with a story that can have a ton of ticket gains.
Mission 1: Rikti have invaded a section of the city where contact x lives (lets not name the contact). Go outside contact x's house and retrieve this item before the Rikti get it. Click the glowie, small map, move on.
Mission 2: Thanks "insert name" for getting my "whatever the clicky was". I need to take "whatever glowie was" to my labs so I can use it for my "big bad prototype experiment that will chase all the rikti off thing". I'll need you to get one more part for it though. Go find "whatever the next thing is" so I can finish my "Big experiment".
Mission 3: Oh no! The rikti have found out, and they have sent communication officers to gather information and call in reinforments. Get rid of them before they alert the rest of the rikti about my "big strong experiment that will decimate them".
Misson 4: Take said expermient, and defeat an AV in charge of this rikti attack force.

Guess which one is on city 02 ruined? This isn't the mission arc story line, but if it's legal, I'm totally making this arc
Um ... I'm not sure about this ... but it seems to me that just about any arc on a medium or large size map can be used as a farm.
My middle mission uses one of the carnival maps, so it certainly has the potential to be farmed. But that isn't its intention.
Other than those 5 million arcs that specifically include the word "farm" in their desciption (a real hint, by the way), I suppose its all how you play.

Ticket Cap
Tickets show up in Salvage under the Special tab. The limit to the amount of Tickets you can hold is 9,999. Also, there is a mission limit to tickets. The developer, pohsyb, said that there is a formula based on cap per spawn times spawns per mission which caps the number of Tickets one can earn from any particular mission. That cap is set very high and would take a single player running through a mission spawned for eight to hit that cap.
Tickets earned over either cap are lost. Tickets over the cap, however, do count for a series of badges which counts these lost, over-the-cap tickets.

Yeah the caps are one way the Devs have designed the system to regulate things.
But if you can earn roughly 7,000 tickets an hour as the OP described then you can be turning those tickets in for high value random rolls pretty often. Having an inventory cap of 9,999 really does nothing to address this potential issue.
Bottomline the Devs will have to determine if 7,000 tickets an hour is "too" much for them. Yes the earning cap per mission is currently very high, but that could always be adjusted downward if too many people push that limit. We already know they hotfixed Snake Eggs and Council Transmutation Capsules so clearly they will likely step on anything else they deem makes things -too- easy. *shrugs*

They already determined that the cap is obviously at least 7000 or higher, can't you see that?

[/ QUOTE ]The cap isn't static. It's based on the number of spawns in the mission.
I believe in order to hit the per-mission cap, you'd have to solo a mission spawned for 8, and get lucky on your drops to boot.

Static not static you cannot exceed the cap which is the important issue.

If the ticket cap is based on spawn size and number of spawns, and there is a limit of the number of spawns on a given map, then there is a maximum to the number of tickets you can get. I would be curious as to what that number could be.
The devs most likely don't care, overall, how many tickets you can get out of a mission. its really more related to how many tickets you can get per spawn and making sure that the spawns themselves are at least of some risk to the player, however minimal.
Compare it to street hunting. There is zero limit on the number of rewards you can get on the street. Its rewards per unit time and the risk you undertake to get them that really matter.
If the devs were truly freaked out over a 7,000 ticket count per mission, they could put a per mission limit in as well as the other calculations.
If you think a mission is giving out an exploitive amount of tickets, then bug it and mention, "This may be an exploitive amount. I got 7,000 tickets from this mission in 25 minutes. You may want to check it out."
If it's OK, then nothing will be done. If it's an exploit, they'll either pull the mission or lower the mission cap for tickets.

its all about getting tickets in this issue. why do people grief about "farming" or getting too many tickets? take them , thats what i say and share the wealth. the nerf bat will pound the heck outta this in no time and we might be lucky to get 50 tickets if we are lucky when finishing a mish, imho. as for "mega" ticket mishs, just put Rikti in your arcs and the tickets seem to drop more from them.

I doubt trying to reason with the types who only want mass tickets is going to work. They see everything else as pointless. >>

WTF WHERE DID MY 1ST RESPONSE GO???
@Canadian Canuck @Canadian Canuck2
Maybe the devs can find some sort of way to limit Tickets per hour or Inf per hour in MA?
Set some sort of high cap saying, "4000 tickets per hour " is the very most we consider to be reasonable. When a player gets to 4000 tickets in any given 60 minute time frame, stop awarding tickets until the ned of that 60 minute fame then continue rewarding and self adjust etc.
Don't know how much code this would take or if its possible in this game, but it would seem to be a sort of way of saying, go crazy if you want but we will limit your ability to farm to a certain extent.

lol...MA PVD (Player vs. Dev)
Before yall pass judgement and say 7000 tickets is illegal think about what you are giving up for those tickets. At lvl 50 7000 tickets is roughly equal to almost 2 pool C drops depending on the level range you pick. In the process of getting enough for those drops you are giving up salvage that would have been dropping had it been a regular mission, you are giving up other recipes like purples and the new very rare-pool c drops. So in a sense it all balances out over time because of what you give up to get those tickets/drops.

This isn't much faster than the 'random roll' one would get from a quick KHTF a couple of issues back. Only thing is, to get this many you have to pad, and only "1 roll" is being given as a reward rather than 8.
It does seem a little high, but again, the caps are in place, no other drops are being given during the entire time and no one else is benefitting.
Hey all
I like to fight large groups solo, so I look for fill when I run MA missions. I found a way to get over 7000 tickets from one mission by farming, and I felt dirty afterwards. The most I've ever gotten since then was about 3500 per mission per 25 minutes. Are arcs like this ok to run or is it considered an exploit? The mission was perfectly legit with enemies fighting back and a story line and took 25 minutes to complete solo without so much as breaking a sweat.
