And the presence of the kick button means that the devs are fine with us kicking people out to return to our desired size. If that causes butthurt, why not just let us lock the league?
-
Is union the bigger one? All those European servers kinda blend together, couldn't find 'em on a map

Pretty sad and passive-aggressive too. Really S_G, you're better than this; if you've got no more points to support your argument, accept that it's weak and move on.

I pay casual players to buy my IOs for me and to make posts complaining about the price.

I should hope it changes, because it looks like utter ******** from here.
-
By this logic, it's my right to kick people from my league if they join from the queue, otherwise there wouldn't be a kick button. I guess we are on the same page here.

Dude's talking about his brute and why he likes it, seems legit to me.
-
I'm laughing at the idea of someone getting banned or suspended for kicking people from trials.
-
You must be watching the wrong usual global channels, because as I type this there are two trials forming in Cim, two in the RWZ2, and three people are forming Moonfires, and that's just in LFG/TFs/VU.
edit: Things are slower at 6 AM PST when I get up for work, and slower also at midnight on a weekday, but trials and WSTs form all the time. -
Soul Drain on scrapper is better than Soul Drain on brutes, but I've never had any complaints about my DM brutes.

My bots/traps went cardio because he is constantly bingo on end
Haven't been able to get enough rares/v.rares to get the other stuff slotted above T2. I am planning on going reactive/pyronic/warworks/rebirth.

I think their "inf held by players" number is out by a few decimal places. Between my partner and I we have about 25B, and I'm sure there's a lot more than 56B total

Virtue TFs 2010 is still going strong. I suspect this new channel is coming about due to someone getting hurt feelings over being asked to stay on topic.

We have a winner. Rewards determined randomly with not even a whiff of correlation, to avoid the idiocy we are seeing on the live servers right now.
-
I'm bi-winning; I have both Ninja and Beast Run.
-
They're forming in global channels.

With 8:45 left on the clock? ******. *tips hat* Guardian gets **** done.

Quote:Guh. This seems accurate, which sucks. The participation reward system is easy to understand.
You must spam as many of your powers as you can against as many different mobs as you can - you are in competition with others on your team, so you have to appear to have been doing more than the other members of your team.
That means aoe powers (amount of damage doesn't matter, just as many as you can that affect the mobs) and it means running around "tagging" as many different mobs as you can.
In a nutshell, if you have powers that aren't recharging, you're not trying hard enough.
Also, if you can, try to get on a team that's composed mostly of support toons (emps/bubblers) and ideally one's that actually want to use their powers to support their teamates and not pvp them.
Sadly, that's how you get better reward tables. -
As all_hell said with one caveat: the AoE can't come from a pet or pseudopet, like rains or whatnot. Apparently using those sorts of powers isn't counted as participation. Not gospel or dev confirmed, but it fits very well with my own experiences.

I just aim to survive long enough to kill the dudes before the dudes kill me.

Feel free to share how one games this system, firespray. I won't get any hurt feelings over it

Hell if I know how to get above Uncommon on my sonic or FF fenders. I bubble everyone, blast like nobody's business, heal with the FFer who has Aid Other, and use my toggle powers to great effect. Very discouraging when my blue bar is often empty from my playstyle and buffing everyone on the league, but the reward system thinks I deserve an uncommon at best.
Still better than my MMs, though.
