Nice bit of writing Steelclaw, but I've come to expect nothing less from you.

I don't remember the exact quote, but it's along the lines of "All that must happen for evil to win is for good men to do nothing." Not saying GG is evil, per se, but if something is wrong, someone needs to step up and say so.

I am in agreement with FFM on this one, and it appears I'm not alone.

I'd recommend "Woman in Black", which may still be in theaters at this point. Almost no blood, but a lot of creepieness.

Also, check out either version of "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark." Have only seen the remake personally, but I assume the original 70's (?) would by default be even less gory than the remake.

I'd second people's advice to check out the old Hammer Horror films from the 60's and their ilk. Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, Vincent Price... those guys knew how to pump up the creepy vibe without rubbing the viewer's nose in it.

L5R's D10 system is alive and well, and into it's 4th Edition (I'm currently in a weekly game). Not 100% sure what AEG's ownership status is, but their logo still appears on the books.

Rokugan was adopted as the "Oriental" setting for D20, but that may not currently be the case, haven't played D20 in some time.

Far from it. I love the book, and hated the movie until I managed to (in my mind) "divorce" it from the book. At that point, it became good clean fun.

As much as anything Paul Verhoeven touches can be considered clean.

Slightly off topic, but this is something that occasionally irritates me. Blue side, these explore badges are just shinies, but Red side they are all required for the Invader accolade. If you slip and miss one, you have to hope you can find someone who is running the appropriate level mayhem mission so you can tag along.

Would love to see a method to return to lower level SG/Mayhem missions. Perhaps after running your required number of radio missions, you're offered a choice to run in any zone you've met the level requirement for... so a level 50 could run a bank mission in any zone. Whether this would exemp the character to the zone level or generate enemies at the character's level wouldn't matter to me, it's all about the badges.

Of course, making these missions available via Oroboros could also be an option.

Was running the Sister Solaris DA arc solo on my Stalker. I had just finished one of the mobs of Cyclops/Minotaurs when the crash hit.

And the new Stalker changes are excellent, I'm enjoying them a lot.

This, btw, is how I deal with all "combat NPC" escorts. Don't give them a chance to wander around gathering aggro. Obviously, ambushes are a different matter, but there's nothing that says you can't stack the odds in your favor.

Personally I like this arc, have run it on every toon I've played blueside. As I understand this, the change requires each toon to accept the missions in turn and run through them, solo or on a team. I see no problem with that.

Yes, you are camping on these names. I'm not saying that it's right or wrong, but it is what you are doing. The first step is admitting it...

If someone is willing to pay you Inf for these names, good for you. Personally, I wouldn't give a small orange inspiration for ANY name. I'd either choose a different name or go to a different server where the name is available.

I'll echo those that have wished you good luck with your sale... you're going to need it.

AFAIK, if the tip takes you to the Rogue Islands, it can't be completed by a pure Hero. Same goes for pure Villains who get tips that take them to Paragon City. These must be dropped/dismissed. Be aware that some of the Valentines that look like they would take you to the "other side" take you to a transport point instead, so these can be completed.

Praetoria can be reached from the Studio 55 portal in Pocket D, and there are portals in Talos and (I think) either Sharkhead or Cap.

As for why you get tips that can't be completed, I can't say. My Bane got a large percentage of these, maybe 1 in 4 could actually be completed. I'm assuming that was just luck of the draw.
