Might have some issues with VEATs and their forced respec, but other than that, I could go for this.
I wish I could just move a few enhancement slots without going through the whole process.

Maybe introduce a couple of different kinds of respecs? A Partial Respec that allows you to respec one power at a time starting with the most recent and a Slots Respec that automatically resets all your slotting to one per power and then allows you to redo that portion of the respec.

I've often wished for a mulligan on my last power or slotting choice.
When I realized the power/slots I thought would be best, actually isn't and I should've gone for X/Y.
I rarely feel like slogging through an entire Respec just to repick that last choice...

I'm surprised "the regulars" haven't come in to tell you how overpowered this would be, etc, etc, etc.
Have one sort (5 levels) purchaseable on the market, or a fairly rare drop in game. Have another (last level: free, 1 level:250,000 inf, etc. with an increased cost up to 5 levels) via the trainers. Just for flexibility.
Wanted: Origin centric story arcs.
If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

I wouldn't even mind burning a full respec on the simple changes, like just changing slots, or even just moving a couple slots... I have tons of them sitting around on every character... I just the process streamlined. There's been times I went in to respec a character just to move a couple slots around, and if I didn't write everything down beforehand, by the time I got to the slotting I forgot one or two specific changes I intended to make to accommodate a set bonus or something 
Then I had to do it all over again.

I'd love to be able to do a respec starting from level 50, work my way back to the point I'm happy, and then rechoose powers and slots from there forward.
I think a fully dynamic respec (remove this power, add from available choices) might be too complex with level requirements on powers, but it would be sooo nice.
I'd really like to be able to respec just, say, the last 5 levels rather than having to go through the whole process just to replace one power I decided doesn't really work for me.
