A_C, TonyV and Manoa gave you some very good advice. After I graduated I taught for several years in CC and in Universities and I want to pass along one piece of advice from that experience.
No matter how good a Faculty member is, he might not be the best person to teach you. Sometimes two people just cannot communicate effectively with each other. If that happens between you and your professor do not get dejected! Do not think its your fault! Do not blame anyone! I have seen students get torn up by this.
Get help. The colleges I've been involved in have all had tutoring programs, I bet the one you will be going to will also have one. Make use of it if you have problems.
If you have no problems and are breezing through your classwork, get involved in those tutoring programs, its a great way to meet people.

You said you did memory testing using Windows mem tester, and turned off a lot of your background processes. You might want to try a different mem tester also just to be sure.
Try monitoring your temps, I don't know if Speed Fan works with Windows 7 but you can give it a try. -
You might want to try turning off some of those programs running in the background. One of them may be interfering with CoH. The first thing that pops out to me is the VM software, I have no clue how CoH would react to a VM environment but I do know that CoH is sensitive to timing errors.

PP, this a known issue with Vista, the screen shots just come out black sometimes. Vista has a tool called the snipping tool, you might want to give that a try instead of the games screen shot ability.

Go to NCSoft Support and open a ticket.
The new forums use your game login and password. If you can log into the forums than you can log into the game, they are the same. If you look in USER CP, and click on Edit Email & Password you will see that the option to edit the password takes you right to PlayNC Account Management. Go ahead and click on it, when you get to the login page is your account name and password already filled out? If so than anyone with access to you computer can change your account settings and passwords. -

My very first use of the booster was on a Magic character. Part of the character's backstory is that a pair of fraternal twins (a boy and a girl) are stuck sharing the body. Since the boy was the healer who created the merged form, it was male, much to the girl's frustration. Now when it's her turn to run things, she uses magic to turn the body into a girl. (Well, a demonic female form, anyway. The boy gets the angelic male form. It's a weird family.)

Consider how many people have multiple CoX accounts. On the global channels I hang out on, a significant number of members have more than one account. If there was an NCSoft Game Pass and it let you cover all your CoX accounts with the one game pass, NCSoft might even see a loss in revenue as all these multiple accounts get covered by the Game Pass, and with it a rise in server usage as more people create multiple accounts.
If this hypothetical NCSoft Game Pass would not cover the cost of multiple CoX accounts that would piss off all those people with multiple accounts.
Would you create another CoX account (or 2 or 3 or . . . ) if an NCSoft Game Pass covered multiple accounts of the same game? -

Instead of a ~120% end discount like the brute version, it has a 60% end discount, but a 100% regeneration increase and a hefty heal (468 HP @ level 50 unenhanced) The end discount and regeneration buff last 30 seconds, and the power recharges in 2 minutes. Doesnt look like there's a crash or anything. No word if the recharge time is unenhanceable like SoW.

My Double XP weekend was non-existent, Friday I had thunderstorms, even after they passed my internet connection was intermittent for hours. Saturday I was busy all day (in a good way), and Sunday was thunderstorms again!

You might want to consider using NoScript, an add-on for Firefox that prevents scripts from running. Its easy to use and set up and can help keep you safe. -
Texas, seriously install NoScript, its an excellent first line of defense for your browser.

That's real funny because I found getting my widow to 24 (other than End) a piece of cake but my little wolfie is much more of an ordeal. The result of differing playstyles, the widow matches mine and the Wolf doesn't. -
You can create more chat windows and detach them. Put a different global in each detached chat window and put them where you want. N.B. This works best with a widescreen monitor.
