More seriously though, IE seems to sometimes hold rendering until the whole page is loaded, especially when the whole page is within a single table layout, and when there is an interruption in loading, it may cause nothing to be displayed at all. This doesn't mean that everybody will have the same problem, or that it will happen all the time, but refreshing should fix it up for you. I don't know of any preference or tweak to fix it automatically for you.
Another possible cause could be the stability of the new forums. I've run into a few slow page-loads myself. It might be possible that IE is getting a response from the server and saying it's "Done", but the database information from the php code is being slow or non-responsive causing only a blank page is displayed... Firefox seems to just give me an error like "There was an error loading this web-page."
Again, hitting "Refresh" or "Try again" fixes it up for me every time.

when you refresh the page when it's blank and it says "Done" you'll get a Resend Information prompt if it happened after a post, otherwise it'll refresh like normal.

Okay, I am trying to adapt to the new boards like everyone else. They work a bit differently, to say the least. I did not know the avatars would not port over, so I will have to take care of that, and navigation is taking some getting used to, but So Far, So Good.
EXCEPT...
There are some threads that, no matter where I click, whether First Post, Last Post, whatever...
The screen is blank and says "Done" in the lower left hand corner. It will not display the page.
This happens 95% of the time with these particular threads, except for the very odd happenstance in which the page displays normally. I have had this happen on various different computers.
This also seems to happen especially (but not only) with threads I have posted in prior to the migration (*insert jokes about That Is Why It Won't Display, They Have Seen How You Post here*
I use Internet Explorer (*insert You Need To Switch To Browser X exhortations here*
Anyone else having this problem? And What In The Wide World Of Sports could be causing this?
