The coolest thing you've done with the Science Booster

I bought the Science Booster for one reason only: the "cosmetic surgeon".

The coolest thing I have done for my main character was to make his "civillian clothes" costumes half a foot shorter than the "superhero costume" (Extor is 7' tall when wearing spandex, but 6'5'' when he's rockin' the civvies).

It's a tiny change, but to me it was worth both the dollars and the influence spent. Now it actually feels like a transformation when I switch costumes.

What is your "coolest" application of Science Pack?

When I first made Mr. JJ Jingles, he was the big lovable goof you see on his VirtueVerse pic.

However, with the Science Booster and a great suggestion from a good friend of mine, I made wee tiny version of JJ. He's at the shortest scale and as thin as possible.

So, now it looks great when Li'l JJ transforms into big JJ.

I like that. Subtle touches can really make a character stand out. ^_^

My scrapper indulges in self-imposed demonic posession, for which I use the 'evillaugh' emote and adjusted the height to maximum. When she wishes to regain control I thought using the super serum would be a nice touch.

Alasdair!

I got nothin' other than I was working with Trina at the D and saw the alt in your avatar (forgive me, I forget her name) standing AFK.

I remember seeing this particular alt in one of the patriotic costume threads and seeing it "in person" was like seeing a celebrity.

I know, I know....I'm a hopeless geek. But, still, it was very cool to see "in-game" something that I thought was so awesome at the Forum.

Professor Backfire didn't actually benefit that much from the Science pack. The rubber boots and gloves were great, but the science jacket just looks too impersonal and big.

I ended up giving him the Baron costume set... with the skull-styled goggles and gas mask.

Haven't had any good ideas for the body type or height changes either.

I bought the Science pack for the sole purpose of letting my Claws/Dark Vampire have her "War Form" finally. She's quite a petite and unassuming (aside from the glowing red eyes) 5'3"ish in her regular form, and a 7' Huge Warwolf-thing in that billowy Magic cape when angered. I know it's a huge cliche but it looks cool enough to me that I don't care.

I have at least two other characters who'll be getting a big demon form as a final "costume".

I've used the Science Pack on several characters so far. Mostly to "fix" their heights.

The most extreme thing I've done so far involves a teenaged tech-origin electric Blaster who's a genius with all things technological. All of her "super powers" come from the gadgets and devices she invents for herself.

I figured that a tech-nerd character like that would eventually build up her equipment enough to create a sort of Iron Man style battle suit she could get into to fight evil. So I switched one of her costume slots to the Huge body type and created a big 8 foot tall anime style mech robot. When I switch to that costume I basically play it that she's jumped into the battle suit for heavy duty villain battles.

Goodness! I never expected such high praise. ^_^
Being AFK in front of a tailor seems to a habit for me these days...
(Oh, and never apologise for being a geek, hopeless or otherwise. Geeks are responisible for the technology and civilisation we enjoy today .)

To get back to the thread subject, though not directly connected to Super Science, I really want to use the lightning emote to change into a costume with shredded clothes and a smoking aura.

If we ever get a golf club choice for the war mace, even better!

The coolest thing I've done with the science booster?

* The neck bolts are a gawdsend! Now my Necromancy Mastermind doesn't have to worry about his creations' heads falling off anymore! Avoiding the awful "lost your head" puns from his team mates was worth the price right there.

* Finally my character Bruce Banned-er can be all I envisioned him to be! Now that I can create a Huge body type as well I can make him.... say... how come this Generic character is in Bruce's parking spot?

* I created a bind so my Huge bodied Mad Scientist in lab coat and the works, drinks the serum and transforms into this tiny female pixie looking thing. The bind ends with "him" falling to "his" knees and weeping while screaming "Awwww <BLEEP>!!"

* I immediately cleared the Atlas Park map when I got the new power. I've been playing the game for over two years but.... Did you know there's a zone called The Hollows attached to Atlas?

* I turned my cat into a cat-girl. It's not as good as it sounds actually. I thought cleaning the litter box was bad BEFORE.

* I used my Science Booster Pack on my Magic Origin character and now he's trying to disprove himself.

* I tried to create a Mad Scientist but the Scientist Defamation League is pamphletting me for perpetuating a negative stereotype.

* What did I do with it? I boosted my Scientist of course. Now she's talking wedding invitations.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

I had no reason to create radically different looks for most of my characters, but for one newer character named Popeye Khan, the whole idea was that he'd look like different pop icons. I started with Michael Jackson and Elvis, and I have James Dean, but there's now a Marilyn Monroe look that naturally wasn't possible before the science booster. ^_^

...and it wouldn't be the first, or weirdest, Elvis impersonators I've seen in this game.

Elvis doesn't count as an EULA violation, right?

My very first use of the booster was on a Magic character. Part of the character's backstory is that a pair of fraternal twins (a boy and a girl) are stuck sharing the body. Since the boy was the healer who created the merged form, it was male, much to the girl's frustration. Now when it's her turn to run things, she uses magic to turn the body into a girl. (Well, a demonic female form, anyway. The boy gets the angelic male form. It's a weird family.)

That's a really imaginative idea! I also like the clever name.

I vaguely remember seeing a screenshot of a Ronald MacDonald and a Colonel Sanders standing next to each other in Atlas Park. Something like that could be fun too, though I can't imagine what powersets you would pick. ¬_¬

Throw in the Burger King and watch hilarity ensue.

What would be their powersets? Sanders would be Fire/Fire for sure.

Nothing really that cool yet. Just made one of the armors for my main tank a bit larger since it adds extra bulk. The effect is very nice if a bit subtle.

Once we get demon summoning I am planning on a villain who is a possessed child. This will make good use of transitioning between the small child form and a large evil creature.

I'm waiting for you to tell what's weird about that family. You can't just drop a statement like that and not explain it.

The only notable thing I've done with the science pack so far was make my Werewolf toon's wolf form much, much bigger. Not used any of the new science themed costume parts for anything yet.

The only character I've used it with so far is Mysterious Figure, my Dark/Kin Corruptor. He's supposed to be this demon who is possessing a character from an old black and white spy movie, so his basic costume is a 6' guy in a trenchcoat and fedora. I decided his third costume would be his "true" form, so I went with the huge bodytype, maxed height, and went for a sort of gentleman demon look (With a generous amount of help from the Magic booster.)

Last night I made a girl with mostly science booster parts...

Her name is Healing Aurora, she is Empathy Radiation, Defender

She have green skin, with the death goggles which are now my favorite piece.
I will take a pic of her so you can marvel in my awesomeness In a little.

Paranormal heteropaternal superfecundation, for one thing. Does that help?

got my power armoured blaster (who uses huge body type) an unarmoured costume. I'd tried it before, but even with everything at the lowest end of the scales, he was too big.

I am going to adapt one of my toons so he starts off as a kid sidekick type before maturing into a big tough hero by the last costume slot.

@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

That is a work of art, Zekiran. Horrible, mind-scarring art, perhaps, but art nonetheless.
