After many years playing this game i have tried my best NOT to get into the hole looking at the numbers a powerset does when i create a character, but more look at how fun it'ld be.
For the last few weeks now i've been trying to create multiple characters [with some quite good concepts i might add] but after chosing the powersets/creating the costume, i always end up deleting because i keep thinking "hmm those numbers dont look that impressive".
Its a sad story [to myself anyway] and one i am trying to get out of, for example i want to create an arch/trick arrow corruptor and for some strange reason i have it in my head that those two arent that good. Now i know for a FACT that TA has some amazing powers [glue arrow, love that power when its used right!] but something in the back of my mind is always telling me to pick something better.
Pistols being another example, i love the animations of that set and have a great character in mind for it. However when i look at the numbers? I cant help but think i aint impressed and character gets deleted
Now on the other side of the scale i made a war mace/shield scrapper on freedom the other day because of the impressive numbers, didnt have much of a concept and thus its one of the most boring characters i've ever played low level [and i love low level content!].
So to answer your question, i dont know
I want to put concept first but its hard for me!

Soon as i reach level 5 i turn them on. I find that the main problem they cause me low level is the mez effects, to which i usually carry a break free until i get proper protection.
The ones which i dread facing though low level? Those lead shockers . . . . . . man those things hurt. -
I agree we need more sets, at the moment there are quite a few sets out there that [according to WW anyway] get hardly used simply due to their low numerical stat boost and really poor set bonuses.
I dont think i've ever used a KB set, well ok maybe i used a full set once, but otherwise they get deleted right away. Some unique IOs i'ld love are
- Chance for resis/def boost
- More chance for sleep/holds
- Chance for knock up
- A better chance for heal [the current one fires so little for so little value its really not that worth it sadly]
- Chance for PbAoE heal

Just remember what trials were like the first month or two of them going live, bafs were quite easily failed due to stage 3 and too many escaping Bit of practice and those trials will become second nature too.

I make a lot of alts HOWEVER i have very few characters that i play on a regular basis.
Rashnu Damz - stj/nrg scrapper
Ultimate Damz - ill/rad controller
Mr Damz - ice/cold corruptor
I have a few other level 50s that i might pull out of the hat once in a while, but they're my characters i play a lot. But i do love making new alts and trying to fit them into my own playstyle

I THINK the point of the thread is that when people solo [for many reasons, such as going at your own pace/doing other things same time] that you get strange messages or set into a certain cliche.
Inviting somebody still while your doing other things will make you seem like your just taking it easy while the other person does all the work for you, thus this will get a bad reputation for yourself eventually if it is done on a constant basis
Or is it just me?

I like to play a lot during the day while im doing other things like paperwork/replying to emails etc, basically so i can be in a mission and say kill a mob or two then do something else out of the game then back in the game [that sort of thing].
I get a LOT of messages asking me why i aint teaming up with them and it does get annoying when they dont believe you when you say you either just want to solo or because your going at your own pace while doing other things. Even gotten as far as me going on hide last few weeks from being constantly asked about it
I like to solo and team, but in the day its usually my solo time

Of course if the above works then you should be able to use the itrials to unlock alpha slot via them too.
All of the above is just my theory however. Love this project idea of yours though

The present on top of city hall and also behind it? Why is it still there? Last 2 days i've seen 3 different cases of people pull the WL towards liberty. 2 of those times there were actually a few of us at 50 to stop it, last time just now though, it wiped out all the low levels.
Clearly this is an obvious griefing tool and needs to be removed ASAP. NOT FUN! -

Well, I can see it better now and I can tell which pieces you used. That's not a bad design at all, but I'd suggest swapping out of the Celestian "undershirt" and going with something else just to break up the "factory" look of it. And possibly putting on a pair of larger boots to offset the larger gloves
As for the screenshot, my suggestion is to zoom your camera in as far as you can without the character leaving the frame before taking your screenshot. That way, your character takes up more of your screen and so is drawn with more details. Then snag a programme like IrfanView and use that to crop out the background that you were nevertheless forced to include in the screenshot because of how high our camera focus is on our characters. IrfanView can save very high-quality jpg files that don't balloon in size. The ones I posted were around 150-300K each.
Also, your edited screenshot appears distorted and stretched sideways, making your character appear much thicker than he was in the original screenshot. If you can help it, NEVER stretch pictures for any reason whatsoever. Including your weapon in the pic would help, too

Like i said im really amateur at anything like this so all advice is welcome! Will be looking at IrfanView later when i have the time after i do some work but do see what you mean about the costume, its one of those that needs a bit of tweaking and think i might change the underskin as you said but also change the patterns for the leg so its not as factory looking as you correctly put

And Keyes? It is showing more Commons and Very Rares, not Rares and Very Rares. I noticed that you, and the other people that felt the need to post in an inflammatory way, glossed over that fact.
The only reason people are being so upfront with you on your facts is because you tried to draw a conclusion and be VERY sarcastic with a sample size of ONE. How do you expect anybody to consider your sarcasm valid with next to no experience of what your saying?
All your other figures are indeed interesting but that one sample size with you commenting purely on that one figure has what made everybody think this is just another biased view on itrials.

This is part of the reason i think, at first i think most of us did feel that there was a strong EU/NA playerbase divide and while to this day that might be true in some sense, it is indeed much closer than whenever it has been.
I would even possibly say that it would benefit from a different objective for this sub forum, though what for im not entirely sure. -
