Of course if the above works then you should be able to use the itrials to unlock alpha slot via them too.
All of the above is just my theory however. Love this project idea of yours though

Praetorians can't use an Ouro Portal. You get a message about needing to be a Primal.
No special badge for hitting 50 except the normal 50 badge with Praetorian flavour.
Best bet would be rejoining low level teams as you still earn xp while exemp'd and doing the 3 main zone events. There's also the Valentine event coming up in February.
Flashbacking Praetorian missions was going to happen, the original findthis text for Moral High Ground was '5 moral choices or Praetorian arc via flashback'. Nothing more has been said about it since the text was changed later.
And at least 6 Praetorians have got to 50 without switching and that was before First Ward came out.

I have been for a while now, working on an idea for an unique character... He is a Resistance Controller (Using a now unavailable skin that looks like Emperor Cole) Now thats inconsequential, but here is the rub.
I been wanting to get him to Lev 50 without having to change my alignment to hero or villain. Until First Ward came out this was quite hard to get past lev 25, but now its rather easy to get to lev 31. Now I'll admit I am now at lev 35 using Pocket D holiday events to farm with higher level friends. I figure I can get to lev 40 with my causal gaming pace. And then do other things later to get to 50. IDK if anyone has done this or not. Kinda curious of a few things...
If I use a Oro portal will it mess up my character and force it into hero?
I been reluctant to try...
If I get to 50 as a resistance / loyalist alignment is there a special badge?
If we do get an Oro portal would it be possible to go back and do Pretoria missions in there?
If not I really would like to request this somehow. It would be tremendously wonderful to finish some arcs I out leveled before completing.
I was plesently surprised to find the long range teleport power does work well with a Pure Praetorian.

Like I said IDK if anyone has done this before, I just thought it would be interesting to have a unique character like this...
