You may not think this is a valid reason, but I see this as a huge reason. I don't farm. I don't have a need for it. Every toon I have has over 10mil inf by level 10 (two of my toons have over 1bil each.) I don't need to transfer inf around because I've learned how to use what the game has in it to make all the inf I need. Earning inf is not hard at all. It's so easy that I don't see a good enough reason to have a global bank at all. The only thing I ever move from toon to toon are recipes and IOs, And that's only because I don't like to buy something that I have on another toon.

Over the years the Devs have tried to find ways to get us to spend all the inf we have on our high level toons. The feeling is that a low level that has been given large amounts of inf has an advantage over someone else at the same level. They have taken out most of the things that made it harder for a high level to save up large amounts of inf, but I don't see them ever making it easy to give inf to your other toons.
  3. Sometimes I wonder if they leave little bugs like that just to play with our heads

I would love it if players from villian side could help the AV/prisoners escape in the Escape Event. Maybe they need to help 30 prisoners escape for it to be success for them.

Not sure how this would be done, but it would give a feeling that the heroes are trying to stop something big going down.
The problem with this is that your powers in PvP work different than they do in PvE. It would be a huge coding problem to have the entire zone switch rules for the time the event is running. The other problem with having villian players join in is that not everyone wants to PvP. I know I would be annoyed if I got a mission in Bricks and found myself forced to PvP in a PvE zone just so I can get to my mission.
  5. The Devs don't want us to move inf from toon to toon on our account. That's why we don't have it already.

    Roman Armor TF

That's the Imperious Task Force (Also known as an ITF.) You get it from Imperious in Cimerora. You get to Cimerora through the Midnighter Club.
It's a 35-50 TF so you just need to find a team to join

    Banned AE arcs

You could ask them if they would unlock/delete it, but I wouldn't count on it. They lock AE missions that they think are farms so that the person that made it can't make a new one to replace it (without running out of mission slots that is.)

    Blown PCI?

Have you moved the card to a different PCI slot? I have seen something like this happen, but it took out all of the PCI slots. The motherboard had to be replaced.
  9. I wouldn't hold your breath on them bringing the raids back any time soon. The Devs kind of gave us a message that the base raiding wasn't high on their list of things to fix when they removed the raiding rules for base building. My base looks a lot better now, but it came at a cost.

It isn't that they hate the bases, it that they hate lvl50s having so much inf. Back when they added the bases, they thought for sure that all the lvl50 would trade in their extra inf to build a better base faster. They don't want us holding onto billions of inf. That's why we used to have to chose between inf and prestige.

hehehe, that is gonna be so epic!
I've done this kind of foot race before and it's a lot of fun. The rules were simple. They had to be level 1, could not use anything other than the train to move from zone to zone, and be willing to put the toon in a special SG for the race so everyone could see who was a part of the race (and so they couldn't cheat by using a base.) We had a list of exploration badges that people had to get along the way (one in each zone.) If we have enough high levels, we would team them up to keep the racers from having a friend TP them from spot to spot. The first one to make it from AP to Portal Corp and have all the badges won.
  12. Spawn camping is the only reason I can't get behind this idea. I learned how bad it can be while playing CO. I wouldn't want to see that happen here too
  13. Make sure the heatsink on the card isn't loose. I've seen many older cards that had a large heatsink held on with those stupid plastic spring pins. After awhile the springs get weak and can't hold the heatsink in place. If it is loose, then you will need to pull it off and reapply the heatsink compound and replace the pins (or better yet, replace the heatsink with an after market one that uses screws to hold it in place)
  14. I have run toons to 50 on heroic so I wouldn't outlevel some of the content. I don't worry about it now because I just turn off the XP when I team with others or when I'm getting too close to outleveling what I'm working for.

As players see more and more that they are just costumes and emotes and start turning up their noises to yet anther 10 dollars. So i think the choices become either more often and paid expansions, or finding other in game items that wont totally blow away the community but have enough worth to keep players wishing to purchase them. Im not really fighting to see this put in, its really just more of a boredom, discussion topic for me at this point. Im tired of arguing in the i16 discussion and feedback threads.
Everyone I know plans on buying all the boosters as they come out. We know costumes and emotes is all we are going to get and it doesn't matter. We will still buy them. CoH has made it 5 years without needing to sell inf for real money. I don't see that changing. I see this the same way I see lifetime subscriptions. It sounds good at first, but in the end it will hurt the game. It's the monthly fee to play that makes all the money.
  16. Sorry to tell you, but you will have to get the Good vs Evil pack. You don't get the accolade just because you already have CoH and CoV. The VIP pass is only in GvE. The good news is that you don't have to buy a GvE box. You can get the in-game item pack for $9.99 in the NCSoft store

edit: Looks like I was a bit slow in posting...
  17. I got so tired of hearing "SB plz" That I respeced it out of my Kins build. It's one thing to ask for it when it has worn off, but to start begging/demanding when the icon hasn't even started to flash is just annoying

Get AE tickets and buy rare salvage (Pangeon Soil is one of the good ones for that.) Sell salvage in WW. The thing I do is buy recipes and craft them to sell. I don't flip salvage.

edit: I'm adding this because someone decided to give me neg rep for the AE tickets. I added that as an easy way to earn inf (and the more that do it, the larger the supply and will end up lowering the price). I am not a fan of AE. I stay away from it as much as I can. Some of my SG members like to make missions and have us run them. They put a lot of work into writing a story and building mobs for it. I will not turn down a friend when they ask me to run a mission they have been working on. That is about the only way someone can get me to join an AE team. Even with my disdain of AE, I find that I earn enough tickets to buy 5-10 rare salvage. That will end up selling in WW for 3-8 mil depending on the market price that day.

    Founders

I wouldn't restrict it to just the founders. That would be a pain to code. I would make this a personal item that any player can add.
  20. I don't see the need for NCSoft to sell inf/IOs. It doesn't take much to start earning all you need in WW. Heck, All my toons have over 100mil by the time they get their travel power.

    5th costume

The salvage can be bought at Wentworths and the Black Market, but they are not cheap. Unless you really want the 5th slot now, I would wait for the Halloween event to start. It's not that far away.
  22. I tried it and after playing it I can say this... I will be here till the servers are shut off. Drop me a tell if you see me ingame.
  23. I have to work all weekend... And I'm salary, so I don't get any extra pay for working a holiday.
  24. Hey! Long time no see. Glad that you haven't jumped ship to that other game
  25. I had some extra money so I picked it up. My feeling on it is Meh. I quickly learned that stealing the objective while someone else is fighting the mobs is about the only way to get them. In all the time I've been trying it, I've teamed once. No one seems to want to team. When my time is up, I'm not going back. I'm still going to spend more time here till then.
